Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of aryl and alkyl halides using palladium/imidazolium salt protocols

A simple new protocol for the high yielding Suzuki-Miyaura cross-couplings of aryl chlorides with aryl boronic acids using a palladium/imidazolium salt catalytic system is presented. The first examples of a palladium/imidazolium salt protocol for sp³-sp³ Suzuki-Miyaura couplings of alkyl halides are also disclosed.     

1-(2-Iodophenyl)-1H-tetrazole as a ligand for Pd(II) catalyzed Heck reaction

1-(2-Iodophenyl)-1H-tetrazole 2 was synthesized by the reaction of 2-iodoaniline, sodium azide and triethyl orthoformate in acetic acid. The newly synthesized ligand 2 was successfully used in Heck reaction to give the cross-coupled products in excellent yields.     

Photooxidation of aryl alkanes by a decatungstate/triethylsilane system in the presence of molecular oxygen

Decatungstate photocatalyzes the oxidation of aryl alkanes to the corresponding tertiary hydroperoxides and alcohols, in the presence of molecular oxygen. The addition of triethylsilane to the reaction mixture substantially increases the proportion of hydroperoxide formed.     

Montmorillonite KSF-catalyzed one-pot synthesis of hexahydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]quinoline derivatives

Aryl amines react with endocyclic ene-carbamates such as tert-butyl 2,3-dihydro-1H-1-pyrrolecarboxylate and tert-butyl 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-pyridinecarboxylate, on the surface of montmorillonite KSF clay under mild conditions to afford the corresponding 3-aminopropylhexahydropyrrolo[3,2-c]quinoline or 4-aminobutyloctahydrobenzo[h][1,6]naphthyridine derivatives in excellent yields with moderate diastereoselectivity.     

Application of polymer-supported triphenyl phosphine in the palladium-catalyzed cyanation reaction under microwave conditions

A variety of aryl nitriles were prepared in excellent yields from the palladium acetate catalyzed coupling of aryl halides with Zn(CN)₂ using polymer-supported triphenyl phosphine as the ligand and dimethylformamide as solvent under microwave irradiation conditions.     

Syntheses of 2-arylated 1-benzazocines via Beckmann rearrangement

One-step and highly efficient syntheses of 2-aryl-1-benzazocines via Beckmann rearrangement of 5H-benzocyclohepten-5-one oxime mesylates in dry toluene was described, in which aryl Grignard reagents were used for the first time to induce Beckmann rearrangement directly without any additional protic agents. Iodotrimethylsilane was also employed to promote Beckmann rearrangement of the mesylates, followed by the treatment of the intermediate imidoyl iodide with phenylmagnesium bromide to complete the synthesis of benzazocines.     

Copper-catalyzed N-arylation of diazoles with aryl bromides using KF/Al2O3: an improved protocol

Copper-catalyzed N-arylation of diazoles can be accomplished using air-stable CuI as a copper source and 1,10-phenanthroline in the presence of KF/Al₂O₃ as a base. This is a simple and efficient method for the coupling of aryl bromide with diazoles. Different functionalized aryl bromides were coupled with diazoles using this system.     

电拓扑状态预测有机磷酸酯类化合物的气相色谱保留指数

以原子类型电拓扑状态指数(ETSI)有效表征35个有机磷酸酯类化合物(OP)的分子结构, 应用基于预测的变量选择与模型化(VSMP)方法建立OP化合物在3种不同固定相上的气相色谱保留指数(RI)与分子结构(ETSI)的定量相关模型. 结果表明, 影响不同固定相上OP色谱保留的主要结构因素都是由7个ETSI描述子对应的子结构碎片, 即: ＝CH₂,≡C—, aaC—, ＝O, —O—, Cl和Br. 其中子结构aaC—, ＝O和—O与OP化合物母体骨架密切相关, 而＝CH₂,≡C—, —Cl和—Br反映支链或取代基的变化. 通过多元线性回归法建立OP化合物在三个固定相上的定量结构-保留相关模型(QSRR)发现, 各QSAR模型的估计相关系数均在0.99以上, LOO检验相关系数在0.98以上, 表明模型具有良好估计能力与稳定性. 应用28个OP训练集样本构建的QSRR模型预测外部7个检验集RI结果表明训练集模型具有良好预测能力.     

On the reaction of 4-substituted trimethyltin aromatics with perchlorylfluoride

To evaluate the suitability of [¹⁸F]perchorylfluoride [¹⁸F]FClO₃ as an electrophilic fluorination agent for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals, the reactivity non-radioactive FClO₃ towards 4-substituted trimethyltin aromatic compounds was studied. Contrary to the expectation, an electrophilic fluorination of the aromatic nucleus did not occur. The reaction of perchlorylfluoride with aromatic trimethylstannyl compounds resulted in the formation of trimethyltin fluoride and the respective destannylated aromatics in variable yields.     

Synthesis of aryl azides from aryl halides promoted by Cu2O/tetraethylammonium prolinate

An efficient approach to aryl azides, in short reaction times and good to excellent yields, has been developed via the reaction of aryl halides with sodium azide under Cu₂O/tetraethylammonium prolinate catalysis.
