The research objectives of this article consist of development of appropriate apparatus and process to apply natural sedimentation for preparing polyacrylamide microspheres industrially. The kettle height of the apparatus should be more than 2 m to provide adequate sedimentation distance for microspheres, and the inner wall of kettle was made of non-polar materials to prevent microspheres from adhering to the wall. The natural sedimentation was used to replace dispersant to maintain the dispersion. Affordable, non-toxic, and non-pollutant corn oil was used as the dispersion medium. Furthermore, single factor synthesis and multi-factor analysis of variance were used to optimize the process. 相似文献

A complete three-dimensional FEM model of the Bar-Bar Tensile Impact Apparatus (BTIA) is constructed, in which the slots in
the bars and the glue layers between the bars and the flat-shaped specimen are included. For elastic-plastic specimen material,
Ly12cz aluminum alloy, the process of tensile impact experiments is simulated and the matching relation between the specimen
geometry and the bars is investigated. Based on the FEM analysis, an iterative method is proposed to design a reasonable specimen
geometry for obtaining the true dynamic stress-strain relation for a certain specimen material.

A new test apparatus was designed to evaluate the thermal–mechanical properties of fabric made from polymeric materials in one step. The results of statistical analysis reveal that the sensations of fabric–skin touch under non-sweating conditions like smoothness, softness, prickliness, warmth and dampness can be predicted using the measurements of this apparatus. Heat transfer properties (HFmin) in a fabric play an important role in warmth/dampness perception, which alone accounts for 63.6% and 56.0% of the variance in warmth and dampness perception, respectively. Fabric compression properties (FCmean) account for 69.5%, 77.0% and 66.7% of the variance in smoothness, softness and prickliness perceptions, respectively. 相似文献

A new apparatus to measure solubility data of aromatics in aqueous solutions has been designed. It is based on a static-analytic method with Rolsi™ pneumatic samplers for on line gas chromatograph analysis. Operating pressures and temperatures are between 0.3 and 10 MPa and between 293 and 393 K.
Solubility measurement results are reported for several aromatic compounds (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene) in different amine aqueous solutions (monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), diglycolamine (DGA)).
