The mechanism of oxidation of 2,5-dimethyl-, 2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-, 2,3-dimethyl-5,6-cyclohexa, and 3-phenyl-5,6-cyclohexapyrazine-di-N-oxides is studied by cyclic voltammetry, quantum chemical simulations, and ESR electrolysis. The studies are carried out on electrodes of glassy carbon and Pt in 0.1 M LiClO4 solutions in acetonitrile. ESR spectra of radical cations of substituted pyrazine-di-N-oxides are recorded. The effects of the temperature, oxygen, and the additions of water, pyridine, and acid on the shape of cyclic voltamograms and the intensity of ESR signals of pyrazine-di-N-oxides are studied. A quantum-chemical simulation of the reaction of pyrazine-di-N-oxide radical cations with acetonitrile is carried out. The oxidation of substituted pyrazine-di-N-oxides is described by the E1C1E2C2 mechanism, which includes the stage of the formation of a complex between the di-N-oxide radical cation and acetonitrile. 相似文献

The self-assembled electrode with the homocysteine monolayer (Hcy/Au) has been characterized by infrared spectroscopy and ac impedance spectroscopy in electrolyte. The Hcy/Au electrode is demonstrated to promote the electrochemical response of epinephrine (E) by cyclic voltammetry. A pair of well-defined redox waves was obtained and the calculated standard rate constant (ks) is 2.1×10−2 cm s−1 at the self-assembled electrode. The reduction peak of E can be used to determine the concentration of E in presence of ascorbic acid (AA) owing to the Hcy/Au also promoting the electrochemical oxidation of AA. 相似文献

Synthesis and characterization of a nitrite-bound copper(II) compound [CuL4)2(ONO)]ClO4 have been achieved (L4 = 2-(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-ylmethyl)pyridine]. The bidentate ligand L4 provides a pyridine and a pyrazole donor site; however, they are separated by a methylene spacer. The complex has been structurally characterized and it belongs to only a handful of complexes having nitrito-bound mononuclear copper(II) centre. The metal atom has a distorted square pyramidal geometry with the copper atom displaced from the equatorial plane by 0.25 Å. In MeCN solution the green complex exhibits a broad ligand-field transition at 655 nm with a shoulder at 675 nm and in dichloromethane-toluene glass (80 K) it exhibits an EPR spectral feature characteristic of the unpaired electron in the dx2−y2 orbital. Variable-temperature (80–300 K) magnetic susceptibility measurements in the solid state as well as room temperature measurement in MeCN solution reveal mononuclear magnetically dilute copper(II) centre. When examined by cyclic voltammetry (MeCN solution) it displays electrochemically irreversible CuII---CuI response [cathodic peak potential, Epc (V vs saturated calomel electrode (SCE)): −0.32]. An oxidative response is observed at 1.14 V, probably due to bound-nitrite oxidation and is partially removed to generate a solvated complex at the electrode surface. The latter species gives rise to reversible CuII---CuI redox response [

The new electrochemical double pulse technique, known as additive differential normal pulse voltammetry (ADNPV) when there is no restriction on the duration of both pulses, and additive differential pulse voltammetry (ADPV) when t2?t1, has been applied to a pseudo‐first‐order catalytic mechanism. The expressions obtained here are applicable to planar and spherical electrodes, of any radius. This is of great interest since the size of the electrode plays an important role in the preponderating of diffusive and kinetics processes. The signal obtained with this technique presents the same morphological characteristics as the triple pulse technique, double differential pulse voltammetry (DDPV) and is more advantageous than DDPV and than the double pulse one, differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). 相似文献

For polyelectrolyte complex between cationic surfactant and polyanion, the adsorptive voltammetry at carbon paste electrode using an electroactive cationic surfactant was examined. The adsorption state of the cationic surfactant in the complexes at CPE was estimated from the half‐height width of the oxidation waves. The half‐height width for poly(styrene sulfonate) was independent of the molecular weight, and was same as that for poly(vinyl sulfate). The half‐height width for heparin was broad and different from that of the vinyl polyanions. According to the analysis by Frumkin isotherm, the interaction between cationic surfactants was attractive in heparin complex at CPE, however, in the vinyl polyanion complexes at CPE the interaction was non‐cooperative as that predicted with the Langmuir isotherm. In spite of the same adsorption state, the concentration dependency of the peak current for poly(styrene sulfonate) was quite different from that for poly(vinyl sulfate). The concentration dependence indicated the reactive property of each polyanion on the association with the cationic surfactant in aqueous solution. 相似文献

Summary The electrochemical behaviour of Fe and C-steel samples in oxalic acid solutions was studied by the use of cyclic voltammetry. Two peaks were observed; the first one was the anodic peak and the second one an unexpected reductive dissolution peak which could be observed in the cathodic branch of cyclic voltammograms of all electrodes studied. The carbon content was found to increase the active dissolution of steels and to decrease their tendency towards passivation. The inhibitive efficiency of phenyl phthalimide derivatives on the active dissolution of Fe and steel samples in 0.1M oxalic acid were investigated.

Zusammenfassung Das elektrochemische Verhalten von Eisen und C-Stählen in Oxalsäurelösungen wurde mit Hilfe cyclischer Voltammetrie studiert. Dabei treten zwei Signale auf: das anodische Signal sowie ein unerwartetes reduktives Lösungssignal. Letzteres wurde im kathodischen Zweig der cyclischen Voltammogramme aller untersuchten Elektroden gefunden. Der Kohlenstoffgehalt erhöht die aktive Auflösung von Stählen und erniedrigt ihre Tendenz zur Passivierung. Die Inhibitionseffizienz von Phenylphthalimiden für die aktive Auflösung von Eisen und Stahlproben in 0.1M Oxalsäure wurde untersucht.相似文献

The behaviour of oxazepam in adsorptive stripping voltammetry was studied taking into account those conditions which have an influence on the accumulation step (electrolyte, pH, time, potential, drop size and stirring rate), rest time and stripping step (pulse amplitude and scan rate). Oxazepam can be determined at a hanging mercury drop electrode by differential-pulse voltammetry in 0.008 M Britton-Robinson buffer at pH 2.0 with a ?0.50 V accumulation potential. Its detection limit was found to be 3.6 × 10?10 M (30-s accumulation) and the relative standard deviation for oxazepam concentrations in the range 2.8 × 10?8?4.0 × 10?7 M is lower than 2.8% (80-s accumulation). In addition, a procedure using adsorptive stripping voltammetry was developed to study the interactions occurring between human albumin and the camazepam metabolic series (camazepam, temazepam and oxazepam). The interactions decreased in the order temazepam ? oxazepam ? camazepam and the groups and structural modifications favouring interaction were determined. 相似文献

An alternate and a new interpretation is given for the event attributed to a magnetic monopole by Price and coworkers found
in an emulsion plastic sandwich stack flown from Sioux City, Iowa, USA on 18 September 1973. The electron pick-up and stripping
cross-sections of nuclei ofZ∼70–80 andv∼0.6–0.7c in Lexan polycarbonate are calculated using the formulae given by Nikolaev. It is shown that the corresponding mean free
paths are of the order of thickness (∼250μ) of Lexan plastic sheets used by them. In such a case asnapshot of these processes is believed to have been observed in plastic sheets. Monte-Carlo simulations of the event have been made
for three values of charges at the top of the main Lexan stack, namelyZ=83, 78 and 70 respectively. The event is thus interpreted as a cosmic ray nucleus ofZ=70–83 andv=0.6–0.7c losing and capturing electrons (mainly the latter) as it passes through the stack. The probability of the occurrence of such
