A method for the determination of total organic tin from marine water samples by electrothermal atomization absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) is described. Samples are previously preconcentrated with a chelating molecule (tropolone) impregnated on a macroporous polymer (Amberlite XAD-2). The graphite furnace programme and preconcentration parameters were optimized. Calibration and addition graphs were performed. Sensitivity obtained with this procedure was 13 ng l−1. Relative standard deviation was always >10% and analytical recovery were satisfactory, 100%. Some possible interferences were investigated, having no problems with this factor. This procedure allows the distinction between organotin compounds and inorganic tin IV, since the latter is not retained on the column.  相似文献

A highly selective and sensitive anodic stripping differential pulse polarographic method has been developed for the determination of trace amount of bismuth in various samples after adsorption of its 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol complex on amberlite XAD-2 resin in the pH range of 2.0-3.0. The retained analyte on the resin recovered with 10.0 ml of 2 M hydrochloric acid and bismuth is determined by anodic stripping differential pulse polarography. In this case, 0.15 μg of bismuth can be concentrated in the column from 1100 ml of aqueous sample, where its concentration is as low as 0.14 ng ml−1 and the linearity is maintained in the concentration range 0.05-160 μg ml−1 in final solution with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 and relative standard deviation of ±1.2%. Various parameters such as the effect of pH, flow rate, and interference of number of metal ions on the determination of bismuth have been studied in detail to optimize the conditions for determination of bismuth in standard alloys: Nippon Keikinzoku Kogyo (NKK CRM No. 916 aluminum alloy); (NKK CRM No. 1021 Al, Si, Cu, Zn alloy); and (NKK CRM No. 920 aluminum alloy), biological samples: National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES, No. 5 human hair; NIES, No. 7 tea leaves) and water samples: (spring water, river water; Kerman water; and Shiraz water).  相似文献

Pinus radiata bark is a rich source of polyphenols, which are mainly composed of proanthocyanidins. This study aimed to utilize P. radiata bark as a polyol source for bio-foam production in the future. Polyphenol-rich alkaline extracts (AEs) from P. radiata bark were prepared by mild alkaline treatment and then derivatized with propylene oxide (PO). Hydroxypropylated alkaline extracts (HAEs) with varying molar substitutions (MS 0.4–8.0) were characterized by FT-IR, NMR, GPC, TGA, and DSC. The hydroxyl value and solubility in commercial polyols were also determined. The molecular weights of the acetylated HAEs (Ac-HAEs) were found to be 4000 to 4900 Da. Analyses of FT-IR of HAEs and 1H NMR of Ac-HAEs indicated that the aromatic hydroxyl groups were hydroxypropylated and showed an increase in aliphatic hydroxyl group content. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of AE and HAEs were 58 to 60 °C, showing little difference. The hydroxyl value increased as the hydroxypropylation proceeded. Although salts were produced upon neutralization after hydroxypropylation, HAEs still showed suitable solubility in polyether and polyester polyols; HAEs dissolved well in polyether polyol, PEG#400, and solubility reached about 50% (w/w). This indicated that neutralized HAEs could be directly applied to bio-foam production even without removing salts.  相似文献

The sorption of inorganic lead(II) on two cationic resins containing different complexing groups, the iminodiacetic Chelex 100 and the carboxylic Amberlite CG-50, was investigated. The Gibbs-Donnan model was used to describe and predict the sorption through the determination of the intrinsic complexation constants. These quantities, even though non-thermodynamic, characterize the sorption as being independent of experimental conditions. The sorption mechanism for metals on complexing resins was also studied by adding a competitive soluble ligand that shifts the sorption curves to higher pH. The ligand competes with the resin for complexation with the metal ion. Lead(II) is strongly sorbed on Chelex 100 through the formation of two complexes in the resin phase: MHL with log 10 β 111i =−0.3 and ML with log 10 β 111i =−3.7. The presence of the competitive ligand in solution allows for the determination of a third complex. Furthermore, on Amberlite CG-50 the sorption is rather strong and involves the formation of the complex ML, in more acidic solution, with log 10 β 110i =−2.0. In the presence of the ligand PyDA, the ML(OH) complex was characterized by log 10 β 11−1i =−5.6. In all the experiments the hydrolysis reactions in the aqueous phase are considered quantitatively.  相似文献

A productive natural method has been produced for the synthesis of 2-aryl-2-methyl-4,5-diphenyl-2,3-dihydro-2H-imidazoles in great yields under catalyst free-conditions utilizing polyethylene glycol (PEG-400) as a green reaction medium. The highlights of this new method are shorter reaction times, good yields, room temperature, and use of nontoxic, inexpensive, and recyclable PEG-400.  相似文献

A simple, efficient, and environmentally benign method has been developed for the exclusive formation of biologically significant 2-aryl-1-arylmethyl-1H-benzimidazoles under the heterogeneous catalysis of Amberlite IR-120 in aqueous media in excellent yields.
