Summary The temperature-dependency of the separation of fullerenes in liquid chromatography (LC) has been examined using various alkyl bonded stationary phases. It has been found that a maximum retention temperature exists with long alkyl bonded stationary phases, whereas there is no similar effect with the newly synthesized alkyl bonded phases which have two phenyl groups at the base of the bonded phase. The interpretation of the retention behavior of fullerenes in the low temperature region on alkyl bonded stationary phases is discussed using information obtained by CP-MAS solid-state NMR spectroscopy and LC. 相似文献

Alkylsulfonates from methanesulfonic acid to decanesulfonic acid were separated by isotachophoresis with conductivity detection in a common electrolyte system at pH 4.8. The electrolyte system consisted of 10 mM HCl buffered with epsilon-aminocaproic acid (pH 4.8) and 0.1% methylhydroxyethylcellulose (MHEC) acting as the leading electrolyte. The terminating electrolyte was 20 mM caproic acid also containing 0.05% MHEC. Current settings of 250 microA for the first and 50 microA for the second capillary were applied. On one hand, the method was applied to the determination of the content of methanesulfonate as the salt forming agent (mesilate) in a recently registered drug substance. The results obtained by ITP were compared with an orthogonal titration method. On the other hand, due to the column-coupling configuration of the electrophoretic instrument, the method could be extended to the trace determination in the ppm range in order to monitor methanesulfonic acid as an impurity in a drug substance. The validation confirmed the linearity of the method between 1 and 10 mg/l, limits of detection and quantification below 1 mg/l, recovery rates from 92.4 to 95.4%, and repeatability with a R.S.D. of 3.8% (six runs with a 4 mg/l spiked sample). Finally, three batches of a newly produced drug substance could be checked for methanesulfonic acid giving results of below 0.0014% (concentration related to the drug substance). 相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of 1-phenyl-3-alkyl-substituted carbene precursors that were prepared from 1-phenyl substituted benzimidazole and various alkyl halides are reported. The new benzimidazolium salts (1a–e) were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR spectroscopic methods and elemental analyses. A series of alkyl triazole glycoside surfactants, ATGs, differing in the length of the alkyl linker between the sugar and the triazole, was synthesized and investigated on their surfactant properties and phase behavior in water. The results indicate no significant impact of the linker on surface and interphase properties, whereas the phase behavior is affected. Higher affinity for the bicontinuous cubic phase potentially favors methylene-linked ATGs over higher homologs for drug-delivery applications. A comparison of glucose and xylose reveals a tendency for high Krafft points for propargyl xyloside based ATGs. An efficient catalyst-free, alternative method for the C–N bond formation reaction of alkyl electrophiles using formamides as the N-sources was achieved under mild conditions. The reaction possesses the advantages of a broad range of substrates scope and wide functional group tolerance. Nickel phthalocyanine (NiPc, 1) periphery has been decorated by alkyl chains of varying chain length via [1,3,4]-oxadiazole moiety (NiPcs 3a–3f). All the newly synthesized compounds NiPcs 3a–3d have been completely characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, solid-state UV-Vis, and solid-state 13C NMR spectroscopy, in addition to X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and thermal analysis. A simple method for the preparation of industrially important alkyl aryl ethers is reported. Several phenolic compounds such as phenols, naphthols, and hydroxy coumarins were O-methylated with trimethyl phosphite or trimethyl phosphate under microwave irradiation and solvent-free condition in almost quantitative yields. Reaction of 2-naphthol with trimethyl phosphate gave mixture of 2-methoxynaphthalene and 1-methyl-2-methoxynaphthalene while the reaction with trimethyl phosphite gave mostly 2-methoxynaphthalene. This method is highly efficient for the methylating of phenolic compounds with very easy experimental procedure and environmental friendly conditions. 相似文献

Abstract Synthesis of polyfunctionalized ketenimines via three-component reactions of rhodanine and 5-(4-dimethylaminobenzylidene)-rhodanine with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates and alkyl isocyanides is described. The reactions proceed smoothly under mild conditions leading to the desired products in good yields. In the case of methyl acetylenecarboxylate, the reaction led to methyl (Z)-3-({5-[(E)-1-(tert-butylamino)methylidene]-4-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1,3-thiazol-2-yl}sulfanyl)-2-propenoate in low yield.
