This paper deals with the determination of the fourteen naturally occurring elements of the lanthanide series in red wine. Ultrasound (US) was used for sample preparation prior lanthanides determination using ICP-MS. Flow injection (FI) and pneumatic nebulization/aerosol desolvation were used for nebulization of aliquots of 50 μL of sample and its subsequent transportation to plasma. Sample preparation procedures, matrix interference and time of sonication were evaluated. Better results for lanthanides in red wine were obtained by sonication with US probe for 90 s and sample 10-fold diluted. The limits of detection of La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Pr, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu and Yb were 6.57, 10.8, 9.97, 9.38, 2.71, 1.29, 1.22, 0.52, 2.35, 0.96, 2.30, 0.45, 0.24 and 1.35 ng L−1, respectively. Red wines of different varieties from three countries of South America were discriminated according to the country of origin by means of multivariate analysis of lanthanides concentration.  相似文献

Atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are ubiquitous environmental pollutants, which may be present both in the gaseous phase and adsorbed onto the surface of particles. Denuders are sampling devices which have been effectively employed in such partitioning applications. Here we describe and characterise a novel miniature denuder consisting of two multi-channel silicone rubber traps (each 178 mm long, 6 mm o.d. containing 22 silicone tubes), separated by a quartz fibre filter for particle phase collection. The denuder only requires a small portable personal sampling pump to provide sampling flow rates of ∼0.5 L min−1. Theoretical considerations indicated that the air flow through the denuder was expected to be laminar, and the linear velocity arising from longitudinal diffusion was found to be negligible. The calculated particle transmission efficiency through the denuder was found to be essentially 100% for particles > 50 nm, whilst the experimental overall efficiency, as determined by CPC and SMPS measurements, was 92 ± 4%. The size resolved transmission efficiency was <60% for particles below 20 nm and 100% for particles larger than 200 nm. Losses could have been due to diffusion and electrostatic effects. Semi-volatile gaseous analytes are pre-concentrated in the silicone of the trap and may be thermally desorbed using a commercially available desorber, allowing for total transfer and detection of the collected analytes by GC–MS. This enhances detection limits and allows for lower sampling flow rates and shorter sampling times, which are advantageous for studies requiring high temporal resolution.  相似文献

Two-stroke mopeds are a popular and convenient mean of transport in particular in the highly populated cities. These vehicles can emit potentially toxic gaseous and aerosol pollutants due to their engine technology. The legislative measurements of moped emissions are based on offline methods; however, the online characterization of gas and particulate phases offers great possibilities to understand aerosol formation mechanism and to adapt future emission standards. The purpose of this work was to study the emission behavior of two mopeds complying with different European emission standards (EURO-1 and EURO-2). A sophisticated set of online analyzers was applied to simultaneously monitor the gas phase and particulate phase of exhaust on a real time basis. The gaseous emission was analyzed with a high resolution Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR; nitrogen species) and a resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometer (REMPI-ToF-MS; polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons: PAH), whereas the particulate phase was chemically characterized by a high-resolution time-of-flight aerosol mass spectrometer (HR-ToF-AMS; organic, nitrate and chloride aerosol) and a multiangle absorption photometer (MAAP; black carbon). The physical characterization of the aerosol was carried out with a condensation particle counter (CPC; particle number concentration) and a fast mobility particle sizer (FMPS; size distribution in real time). In order to extract underlying correlation between gas and solid emissions, principal component analysis was applied to the comprehensive online dataset. Multivariate analysis highlighted the considerable effect of the exhaust temperature on the particles and heavy PAH emissions. The results showed that the after-treatment used to comply with the latest EURO-2 emission standard may be responsible for the production of more potentially harmful particles compared to the EURO-1 moped emissions.  相似文献

A humidity controlled inlet system was developed to measure the hygroscopic growth of aerosol scattering coefficient in conjunction with nephelometry at an urban site of Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences (CAMS) in Beijing and a rural site at Shangdianzi Regional Background Air Pollution Monitoring Station (SDZ) outside Beijing during winter, from December 2005 to January 2006. Measurements were carried out at a wavelength of 525 nm with an Ecotech M9003 nephelometer. The hygroscopic growth function (or factor) of the aerosol scattering coefficientf(RH) increased continuously with increasing relative humidity (RH) and showed no obvious "step-like" deliquescent behavior at both sites during the experiment. The average growth factorf(RH) at the SDZ site could reach 1.5 when RH increased from less than 40% to 92%, and to 2.1 at the CAMS site when RH increased from less than 40% to 93%. The average hygroscopic growth factor at a relative humidity of 80%, f(RH=80±1%), was found to be about 1.26±0.15 at CAMS and 1.24±0.11 at SDZ. Further analysis indicated that under relatively polluted conditions, the average hygroscopic growth factor was higher at the CAMS site than that at the SDZ site. However, under relatively clean air conditions, the difference between the two sites was small, showing a hygroscopic growth behavior similar to those of burning biomass or blowing dust. These results reflected the different characteristics of aerosol types at the two sites.  相似文献

In this letter we document the possibility of the existence of a second molecular configuration for nitric acid trihydrates. Density functional theory (DFT) methods have been used for studying the nitric acid trihydrates α and β-NAT conformations, their spectroscopic and thermodynamics properties and dipole moments have been calculated. This study describes the gas–solid phase transition of the NAT and provides two possible pathways for the molecular structure transformation between α and β-NAT.  相似文献

We investigated femtosecond pump–repump depletion schemes in biological fluorophors (tryptophan and riboflavin) in order to discriminate bioaerosols from organic interferents emitted by combustion (traffic related urban aerosols). Although fluorescence depletion is significative for riboflavin (Rbf, Vitamin B2), the most striking results have been obtained for the amino acid tryptophan (Trp). By using a 270 nm-pump 810 nm-repump femtosecond excitation, we showed that Trp exhibits fluorescence depletion up to 50%, contrary to naphthalene (<2%), despite almost identical absorption/emission spectra. We demonstrate that this process in Trp is so robust that it still occurs in living bacteria (Bacillus subtilis, Escherechia coli and Enterococcus fæcalis) but is absent for pure diesel fuel. This remarkable difference between biological and organic aerosols can be exploited to discriminate among them.  相似文献

A two-step approach is proposed to derive component aerosol direct radiative forcing (ADRF) at the top of atmosphere (TOA) over global oceans from 60°S to 60°N for clear-sky condition by combining Terra CERES/MODIS-SSF shortwave (SW) flux and aerosol optical thickness (AOT) observations with the fractions of component AOTs from the GSFC/GOCART model. The derived global annual mean component ADRF is +0.08±0.17 W/m2 for black carbon, −0.52±0.24 W/m2 for organic carbon, −1.10±0.42 W/m2 for sulfate, −0.99±0.37 W/m2 for dust, −2.44±0.84 W/m2 for sea salt, and −4.98±1.67 W/m2 for total aerosols. The total ADRF has also been partitioned into anthropogenic and natural components with a value of −1.25±0.43 and −3.73±1.27 W/m2, respectively. The major sources of error in the estimates have also been discussed. The analysis adds an alternative technique to narrow the large difference between current model-based and observation-based global estimates of component ADRF by combining the satellite measurement with the model simulation.  相似文献

为满足空间遥感的迫切需求,设计并研制了一个星载均匀像面低畸变广角气溶胶探测仪样机.该仪器通过利用光阑像差产生的有效像差渐晕提高像面照度的均匀性,解决了广角系统中像面照度不均匀的问题.合理选择结构型式校正了畸变,并且采用全球面光学系统,易于加工和检测.广角气溶胶探测仪的中心波长为670 nm,带宽20 nm,全视场72°,相对孔径1/3.6,焦距20 mm.实验结果表明:研制的星载广角气溶胶探测仪镜头其入瞳大小5.6 mm,边缘视场的相对照度达到95.6%,在36 lp/mm处,轴上视场的调制传递函数值大于0.61,轴外视场的调制传递函数值高于0.58,最大畸变量为-1.95%,完全满足设计指标要求,体积小,适合空间遥感应用.  相似文献

提出了用石墨炉原子吸收法连续测定气溶胶中六种重金属的方法.气溶胶样品经处理后,直接用石墨炉原子吸收法测定其中的铜、钴、镍、镐、铅和铬.其检出限在 1.9×10~(-12)~1.6×10~(-10)g,仪器的精密度(RSD)<6.1%,标准加入回收率为90.4%~106.5%,已用于大批气溶胶样品的测定,结果令人满意.  相似文献
