研究了变压吸附空气分离制氧吸附剂——锂交换低硅铝比八面沸石LiLSX中残留水及从外部引入的水对吸附性能的影响.研究表明,在水合LiLSX经脱附后,当残留的水分子数目为0~32(个分子/晶胞)时, N2或O2的吸附量下降显著.原因是N2和O2的吸附主要依赖于处在SIII位置的32个锂离子.当水分子与SIII位置的Li+结合时,就会阻碍N2或O2的吸附.而从外部引入的水分子与脱附残留的水分子相比,在相同水含量时对吸附量的影响较小,这是由于吸附位置的不均匀性以及水分子在沸石中的扩散行为所引起.在水扩散进入LiLSX内部的过程中,一部分水分子可以吸附在能量较低的位置上而不是吸附到最强的SIII位置上. 相似文献

Adsorption on activated carbon is an efficient method for the removal of toxic dyes. However, since commercially available charcoal is quite expensive, activated carbon obtained from agricultural by‐products may serve as a good replacement. In this study, activated carbon was prepared from pepper peduncle, an agricultural waste product, by microwave activation. The synthesized carbon was characterized by X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and thermal gravimetric analysis techniques. It was then used for the adsorption of methylene blue dye from an aqueous solution, which was studied as a function of the dye concentration, contact time, and temperature. The adsorption data were fitted to Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm models. The adsorption kinetics was studied by employing first‐ and second‐order kinetic models, and it was found that the adsorption of methylene blue on the synthesized activated carbon follows a second‐order kinetic model. Effect of temperature on the adsorption process was studied, and the thermodynamic parameters such as activation energy, change in enthalpy, entropy, and free energy of adsorption were calculated on the basis of the absolute theory of reaction rate expressions. About 99.5–91.8% of the dye was removed for an initial dye concentration in the range 20–100 mg/g in 1 h. A highly porous calcium carbonate (calcite; sorbent 1) was used as a support for modification with α-FeOOH (calcite/goethite; sorbent 2), α-MnO2 (calcite/α-MnO2; sorbent 3) and α-FeOOH/α-MnO2 (calcite/goethite/α-MnO2; sorbent 4) in order to obtain a cheap hybrid materials for simple and effective arsenate removal from aqueous solutions. The adsorption ability of synthesized adsorbents was studied as a function of functionalization methods, pH, contact time, temperature and ultrasonic treatment. Comparison of the adsorptive effectiveness of synthesized adsorbents for arsenate removal, under ultrasound treatment and classical stirring method, has shown better performance of the former one reaching maximum adsorption capacities of 1.73, 21.00, 10.36 and 41.94 mg g−1, for sorbents 1–4, respectively. 利用密度泛函理论和广义梯度近似研究镍吸附在Al(111)表面。在覆盖率为0.25ML下,分析了Ni吸附在Al(111)表面的面心立方洞位、六角密排洞位、顶位和桥位四个高对称位的原子结构和吸附能。比较不同高对称位的吸附能发现,六角密排洞位的吸附能最大,是5.76 eV,是最稳定的吸附位置。详细讨论了两个最低能量结构-三重洞位的电子结构、功函数、表面偶极距和Ni-Al键的特性。在费米能级附近,Ni-3d和Al-3s,3p轨道产生杂化,形成金属间化合键。由于吸附导致双金属体系表面偶极距和功函数的变化。我们发现:Ni原子与Al(111)表面原子间成建主要是共价键,没有表现出明显的静电荷跃迁,相应的产生非常小的表面偶极距。与面心立方洞位相比,六角密排洞位在费米能级附近产生较低的态密度,在键态附近产生较大的杂化。 相似文献

采用基于第一性原理的密度泛函理论系统研究了染料分子中的-CN, -NH2, -OH, -COOH和-SH等5种固定基团在ZnO 表面的吸附, 分析了它们在ZnO 表面上的吸附机制. 结果表明:5种基团在ZnO 表面都发生了化学吸附, 其中-CN、-NH2和-OH发生了非解离吸附, -COOH和-SH则是表面解离吸附. 5种固定基团的吸附能分别是:-0.64 eV, -1.28 eV, -1.03eV, -1.21eV(-1.40 eV)和-1.14 eV. 综上所述, 以-COOH为固定基团的染料分子制备的染料敏化太阳能电池(DSSCs)具有更稳定的性能, 这为ZnO染料敏化太阳能电池的设计和应用提供了理论基础. 相似文献

TiO2 compounds possess relatively high adsorption abilities and exhibit high photocatalytic activities that exhibit potential for the destruction of organic pollutants in natural and waste waters.Nanostructured potassium polytitanates modified using transition metals and their oxides/hydroxides generate new nanomaterials that operate in the visible spectral range.This study presents the synthesis and investigation of the structure,composition and photocatalytic activity of powdered nanoscale quasi-amorphous potassium polytitanates particles modified with iron,zinc,copper,cobalt and nickel sulfate in aqueous solutions.All of the powders investigated in this work exhibit a high adsorption capacity for methylene blue dye(15-20mg/g) related to the welldeveloped surface of the layered potassium polytitanate particles.Introducing transition metals and their oxides/hydroxides influences the electronic structure of the obtained systems.A high photocatalytic activity was observed for systems containing iron,zinc,nickel and their oxides/hydroxides in the ultraviolet and visible ranges. 相似文献

A novel thermodynamic state recursion (TSR) method, which is based on nonequilibrium thermodynamic path described by the Lagrangian-Eulerian representation, is presented to simulate the whole chromatographic process of frontal analysis using the spatial distribution of solute bands in time series like as a series of images. TSR differs from the current numerical methods using the partial differential equations in Eulerian representation. The novel method is used to simulate the nonideal, nonlinear hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) processes of lysozyme and myoglobin under the discrete complex boundary conditions. The results show that the simulated breakthrough curves agree well with the experimental ones. The apparent diffusion coefficient and the Langmuir isotherm parameters of the two proteins in HIC are obtained by the state recursion inverse method. Due to its the time domain and Markov characteristics, TSR is applicable to the design and online control of the nonlinear multicolumn chromatographic systems. 相似文献

An accurate and fast method for simultaneous determination of small organic acids and much larger humic acids was developed using high performance size exclusion chromatography. Two small organic acids, i.e. salicylic acid and 2,3‐dihydroxybenzoic acid, and one purified humic acid material were used in this study. Under the experimental conditions, the UV peaks of salicylic acid and 2,3‐dihydroxybenzoic acid were well separated from the peaks of humic acid in the chromatogram. Concentrations of the two small organic acids could be accurately determined from their peak areas. The concentration of humic acid in the mixture could then be derived from mass balance calculations. The measured results agreed well with the nominal concentrations. The detection limits are 0.05 mg/L and 0.01 mg/L for salicylic acid and 2,3‐dihydroxybenzoic acid, respectively. Applicability of the method to natural samples was tested using groundwater, glacier, and river water samples (both original and spiked with salicylic acid and 2,3‐dihydroxybenzoic acid) with a total organic carbon concentration ranging from 2.1 to 179.5 mg C/L. The results obtained are promising, especially for groundwater samples and river water samples with a total organic carbon concentration below 9 mg C/L. 相似文献

Protein adsorption onto hydrophobic interaction chromatography supports was studied by a surface-thermodynamics approach. To gather relevant experimental information, contact angle measurements and zeta potential determinations were performed on three different commercial adsorbent beads, Phenyl Sepharose 6 Fast Flow, Toyopearl Phenyl 650-C and Source 15 Phenyl, having soft to rigid backbone structure. Similar information was obtained for a collection of model proteins, lysozyme, bovine serum albumin (BSA), polygalacturonase, aminopeptidase, chymosin, aspartic protease, beta-galactosidase, human immunoglobulin G, and lactoferrin, were evaluated in the hydrated and in the dehydrated state. Based on the mentioned experimental data, calculations were performed to obtain the (interfacial) energy versus distance profiles of nine individual (model) proteins on (commercial) beads of three different types. All of these beads harbored the phenyl-ligand onto a matrix of differentiated chemical nature. Extended Derjaguin, Landau, Verwey, and Overbeek (DLVO) calculations were correlated with actual chromatographic behavior. Typical chromatography conditions were employed. The population of model proteins utilized in this study could be segregated into two groups, according to the minimum values observed for the resulting interaction energy pockets and the corresponding retention volumes (or times) during chromatography. Moreover, trends were also identified as a function of the type of adsorbent bead under consideration. This has revealed the influence of the physicochemical nature of the bead structure on the adsorption process and consequently, on the expected separation behavior. 相似文献
