Projective functors for algebraic groups

We investigate the regular subquotient category introduced by Soergel in [W. Soergel, On the relation between intersection cohomology and representation theory in positive characteristic, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 152 (1–3) (2000) 311–335]. A detailed study of projective functors enables one to relate those categories for semi-simple algebraic group G and its subgroup schemata G_rT. As an application we derive some information about the characters of tilting modules for G.     

The behavior of best -approximations as . A counterexample of convergence

In the space of summable sequences we give an example of a one-dimensional affine subspace C such that the best L_p-approximations of 0 from C fail to converge as p↓1. We thus give an answer to this problem of convergence in infinite measure spaces.     

非同类机极小化最大完工时间的保密排序问题

提出并研究了一类非同类机的极小化最大完工时间的保密排序问题Rm||Cmax.该问题的模型参数分为若干组,每个组都由一个不愿意共享或公开自己数据的单位所拥有.基于随机矩阵变换构造了一个不泄露私有数据且与原问题等价的安全规划模型,求解该安全模型可以获得问题的最优解,而且各单位的隐私数据仍然保持不被泄露.     

Superacid mediated hydroxyalkylation reaction of 1,2,3‐indanetrione: a theoretical study

Energies of mono‐ and multiprotonation for 1,2,3‐indanetrione and ninhydrin in triflic acid (TFSA) media were estimated at PBE0/aug‐cc‐pvtz//6‐31+G** level of theory. The reactivity of formed intermediates in the reaction of aromatic electrophilic substitution has been studied at the same level of theory. It appears that the basicity of carbonyl groups in 1,2,3‐indanetrione is extremely low due to mutual influences of carbonyl groups. Carbonyl 2 is the least basic but the most reactive in accordance with experiment. Calculations demonstrated that monoprotonated intermediates are the principal reactive species in the reaction of hydroxyalkylation of 1,2,3‐indanetrione in TFSA. A new isomerization mechanism of 2,2‐diaryl‐1,3‐indanediones to 3‐(diarylmethylene)isobenzofuranones in TFSA media has been proposed. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Sheaves on Involutive Quantaloids

We extend the well-known notions of a singleton, complete -set, presheaf and sheaf over a complete Heyting algebra or a right-sided idempotent quantale to arbitrary involutive quantaloids. We show that sheaves on and complete -sets come to the same thing. This paper can be considered as a symmetric version of an earlier work of the author.     

Optimal Ternary Linear Rate 1/2 Codes

In this paper, we classify all optimal linear[n, n/2] codes up to length 12. We show that thereis a unique optimal [10, 5, 5] code up to equivalence.     

Renormalisation du produit, Jacobiens et transformations de Riesz

The “correction algorithm”, applied in probability theory to the pointwise product of two martingales, has a natural analogue in the real-variable setting. It turns out that the corresponding bilinear operators obtained in this way provide us with a new “renormalization algorithm”, in the sense of Coifman, Dobyinski and Meyer. We give a few examples of applications, regarding multidimensional Hardy spaces and various nonlinear quantities.     

Intersection Local Times of Independent Brownian Motions as Generalized White Noise Functionals

A 'chaos expansion' of the intersection local time functional of two independent Brownian motions in R ^d is given. The expansion is in terms of normal products of white noise (corresponding to multiple Wiener integrals). As a consequence of the local structure of the normal products, the kernel functions in the expansion are explicitly given and exhibit clearly the dimension dependent singularities of the local time functional. Their L ^p -properties are discussed. An important tool for deriving the chaos expansion is a computation of the 'S-transform' of the corresponding regularized intersection local times and a control about their singular limit.

We compute the -limit of a sequence obstacle functionals in the case of periodic obstacles.
