Angular distributions of elastic scattering and inelastic scattering from 2+1 state are measured for 16O+142,144,146Nd systems at several energies in the vicinity of the Coulomb barrier. The angular distributions are systematically analyzed in coupled channel framework. Renormalized double folded real optical and coupling potentials with DDM3Y interaction have been used in the calculation. Relevant nuclear densities needed to generate the potentials are derived from shell model wavefunctions. A truncated shell model calculation has been performed and the calculated energy levels are compared with the experimental ones. To simulate the absorption, a ‘hybrid’ approach is adopted. The contribution to the imaginary potential of couplings to the inelastic channels, other than the 2+1 target excitation channel, is calculated in the Feshbach formalism. This calculated imaginary potential along with a short ranged volume Woods–Saxon potential to simulate the absorption in fusion channel reproduces the angular distributions for 16O+146Nd quite well. But for 16O+142,144Nd systems additional surface absorption is found to be necessary to fit the angular distribution data. The variations of this additional absorption term with incident energy and the mass of the target are explored.  相似文献

The present paper deals with the mixed boundary value problem for elliptic equations with degenerate rank 0. We first give the formulation of the problem and estimates of solutions of the problem, and then prove the existence of solutions of the above problem for elliptic equations by the above estimates and the method of parameter extension. Dispersion and attenuation of longitudinal waves in elastic or weakly viscoelastic rods are measured by analysing the resonant frequencies present in the strain spectrum due to an unknown loading. The method takes the finite measuring time of the test into account. It is applied to an aluminium bar, in which the dispersion relation is identified very accurately at frequencies up to 60 kHz. I describe an interchangeable twin vessel (J, N) automatic glass recrystallizer that eliminates the time-consuming recovery and recycling of crystals for repeated recrystallization. The sample goes in the dissolution vessel J containing a magnetic stir-bar K; J is clamped to the upper joint H of recrystallizer body D. Empty crystallization vessel N is clamped to the lower joint M. Pure solvent is delivered to the dissolution vessel and the crystallization vessel via the head of the condenser A. Crystallization vessel is heated (P). The dissolution reservoir is stirred and heated by the solvent vapor (F). Continuous outflow of filtrate E out of J keeps N at a stable boiling temperature. This results in efficient dissolution, evaporation and separation of pure crystals Q. Pure solvent in the dissolution reservoir is recovered by suction. Empty dissolution and crystallization vessels are detached. Stirrer magnet is transferred to the crystallization vessel and the role of the vessels are then reversed. Evacuating mother liquor out of the upper twin vessel, the apparatus unit is ready for the next automatic recrystallization by refilling twin vessels with pure solvent. We show successive automatic recrystallization of acetaminophen from diethyl ether obtaining acetaminophen of higher melting temperatures than USP and JP reference standards by 8× automatic recrystallization, 96% yield at each stage. Also, I demonstrate a novel approach to the determination of absolute purity by combining the successive automatic recrystallization with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement requiring no reference standards. This involves the measurement of the criterial melting temperature T0 corresponding to the 100% pure material and quantitative ΔT in DSC based on the van’t Hoff law of melting point depression. The purity of six commercial acetaminophen samples and reference standards and an eight times recrystallized product evaluated were 98.8 mol%, 97.9 mol%, 99.1 mol%, 98.3 mol%, 98.4 mol%, 98.5 mol% and 99.3 mol% respectively.  相似文献

Over 8000 line positions and intensities of phosphine (PH3) at 3 μm have been measured at 0.0115 cm−1 resolution with the McMath-Pierce Fourier Transform spectrometer at Kitt Peak. The observed line intensities ranged from 4.13 × 10−6 to 4.69 × 10−2 cm−2 atm−1 at 296 K, for line positions between 2724.477 and 3601.652 cm−1. This region spans eight interacting vibrational states: 3ν2 (2940.8 cm−1), 2ν2 + ν4 (3085.6 cm−1), ν2 + 2ν4 (3214.9 cm−1), ν1 + ν2 (3307.6 cm−1), ν2 + ν3 (3310.5 cm−1), 3ν4 (∼3345 cm−1), ν1 + ν4 (3426.9 cm−1), and ν3 + ν4 (3432.9 cm−1). Assignments have been determined for all the bands except 3ν4 (a weak band in a highly congested area) for a total of 4232 transitions. The total integrated intensity for this region is 5.70 cm−2 atm−1 near 296 K, and assigned lines account for 79% of the observed absorption. The two strongest bands in the region are ν1 + ν4 and ν3 + ν4 with band strengths at 296 K of 1.61 and 2.01 cm−2 atm−1, respectively. An empirical database of PH3 line parameters (positions, intensities, and assignments) is now available. Lower state energies (corresponding to assignments from this study) and line widths from the literature are included; default values are used for unassigned features.  相似文献

The adsorption of NO molecule on the LaFeO3 (0 1 0) surface was studied using first-principle calculations based on density functional theory. The calculated results indicate that the Fe-top site is the most favorable for NO adsorption. The N-O bond length, Mulliken charge, and the N-O vibration frequency of the NO molecule are discussed after adsorption. The analysis results of the density of the states show that when NO is adsorbed with the Fe-NO configuration, the bonding mechanism is mainly from the interaction between the NO and the Fe d orbit.  相似文献

In this paper, by applying the SSOR splitting, we propose two new iterative methods for solving the linear complementarity problem LCP (M,q). Convergence results for these two methods are presented when M is an H-matrix (and also an M-matrix). Abstract

Molecular dynamics simulations have been performed to understand the size-dependent tensile deformation behaviour of 〈1 0 0〉 Cu nanowires at 10 K. The influence of nanowire size has been examined by varying square cross-section width (d) from 0.723 to 43.38 nm using constant length of 21.69 nm. The results indicated that the yielding in all the nanowires occurs through nucleation of partial dislocations. Following yielding, the plastic deformation in small size nanowires occurs mainly by slip of partial dislocations at all strains, while in large size nanowires, slip of extended dislocations has been observed at high strains in addition to slip of partial dislocations. Further, the variations in dislocation density indicated that the nanowires with d > 3.615 nm exhibit dislocation exhaustion at small strains followed by dislocation starvation at high strains. On the other hand, small size nanowires with d < 3.615 nm displayed mainly dislocation starvation at all strains. The average length of dislocations has been found to be same and nearly constant in all the nanowires. Both the Young’s modulus and yield strength exhibited a rapid decrease at small size nanowires followed by gradual decrease to saturation at larger size. The observed linear increase in ductility with size has been correlated with the pre- and post-necking deformation. Finally, dislocation–dislocation interactions leading to the formation of various dislocation locks, the dislocation–stacking fault interactions resulting in the annihilation of stacking faults and the size dependence of dislocation–surface interactions have been discussed.  相似文献
