The continuous-wave laser properties of an efficient diode-pumped Nd:GdVO4 crystal operating at formed with a simple plane-concave cavity have been studied. With the incident pump power of 21 W, an output power of 6.9 W was obtained, giving an optical conversion efficiency of 32.8% and a slope efficiency of 35.3%. On the basis of the general framework of H-maximal monotonicity (also referred to as H-monotonicity in the literature), a generalization to Rockafellar’s theorem in the context of solving a general inclusion problem involving a set-valued maximal monotone operator using the proximal point algorithm in a Hilbert space setting is explored. As a matter of fact, this class of inclusion problems reduces to a class of variational inequalities as well as to a class of complementarity problems. This proximal point algorithm turns out to be of interest in the sense that it plays a significant role in certain computational methods of multipliers in nonlinear programming. The notion of H-maximal monotonicity generalizes the general theory of set-valued maximal monotone mappings to a new level. Furthermore, some results on general firm nonexpansiveness and resolvent mapping corresponding to H-monotonicity are also given. 相似文献

For a fixed value of a parameter k≥2, the Maximum k-Edge-Colorable Subgraph Problem consists in finding k edge-disjoint matchings in a simple graph, with the goal of maximising the total number of edges used. The problem is known to be -hard for all k, but there exist polynomial time approximation algorithms with approximation ratios tending to 1 as k tends to infinity. We are interested in nonlocal eikonal equations describing the evolution of interfaces moving with a nonlocal, non-monotone velocity. For these equations, only the existence of global-in-time weak solutions is available in some particular cases. In this paper, we propose a new approach for proving uniqueness of the solution when the front is expanding. This approach simplifies and extends existing results for dislocation dynamics. It also provides the first uniqueness result for a Fitzhugh-Nagumo system. The comparison of the DR rate coefficients from 4s, 4p and 4d subshell excitations shows that 4d subshell excitation dominates in the whole temperature region. The contribution from 4p subshell excitation is very important at temperature above 10 eV and the contributions from 4s subshell excitation is lower than 7.5% in the whole temperature region. Similarly, the comparison of the DR rate coefficients through △n=0, 1 and 2 core excitation shows that the contribution from △n=2 core excitation can not be neglected, the contributions from n′>15 can also not be neglected. The DR rate coefficients of △n=0, 1 and 2 core excitation and the total DR rate coefficients are fitted with some parameters, which are in good agreement with theoretical calculations values (within 1% difference). The total DR rate coefficients are greater than radiative recombination (RR) and three body recombination (TBR) rate coefficients at temperature above 1 eV. Therefore, the DR process can strongly influence the ionization balance of laser produced xenon plasmas. 相似文献

AA8xxx alloys employed in the HVAC&R sector (heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigerating) were investigated to highlight the effect of active surface layers in heat-exchanger fins. The local behavior of the surface and the bulk of the alloy sheets was studied by means of an electrochemical microcell in combination with glow-discharge optical-emission spectrometry. Surface layers strongly enhance the electrochemical activity of the fin material. This is related to the segregation of Mg and other elements (Sn) strongly impairing the protective behavior of the oxide film generated during thermomechanical processing. 相似文献

We report on an approach to truncate the tricyclic 5H-chromeno[2,3-b]pyridin-5-one core of amlexanox, an approved drug under investigation for the treatment of obesity, to the bicyclic 4H-pyrano[2,3-b]pyridin-4-one (8-azachromone) core. A short, concise synthesis generates a key intermediate with requisite functionality on the pyridyl A-ring and iodo functionality on the 4-pyrone B-ring upon which palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling and subsequent reactions generate representative analogues.
