The regioselectivity of the formation of 2-pyrazolylthiazoles and their precursors from the reaction of 2-hydrazinothiazoles with 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-hetaryl-1,3-butanediones

Reaction of 2-hydrazinothiazoles 1 with 1-thienyl- and 1-furyl-1,3-butanediones 2a,b in methanol in the presence of hydrochloric acid mainly leads to a mixture of pyrazoles 3 and pyrazolines 4 or pyrazoles 3 and 5 in strong acidic conditions. Isomeric hydrazones 6 and pyrazolines 4 were formed and isolated in these reactions in the absence of hydrochloric acid. It has been shown that the regioselectivity in the reaction of diketones 2 with hydrazine 1 is governed by both the concentration of acid and the nature of substituents in the 1,3-diketones 2. Cyclization of hydrazones 6 is shown to occur under milder conditions than dehydration for pyrazolines 4. The new heterocyclic compounds were prepared and fully characterized by NMR spectra and by X-ray analysis for 3c.     

Can the presence of chemically inert species modify the face selectivity in asymmetric induction by cyclodextrins?

Reduction of-cyclodextrin (-CD) aromatic ketone (acetophenone and acetonaphthones) inclusion compounds were carried out in the presence of a large number of chemically inert species as potential co-guests. In several cases, it was observed that stoichiometric molar ratios of these compounds to ketone significantly modify the chiral induction yielding the inverted alcohol enantiomer and increasing the face selectivity. The results were found to depend strongly on the respective structure and shape of both the ketone and the additive, and on the molar ratio of-CD:ketone:third compound. These observations suggest the formation of a three-component inclusion complex in which the geometry of binding of the substrate and its mobility are changed with respect to the binary system.

用动力学方法研究8,9-苯并-2-亚甲基-1,4,6-三氧螺[4,4]壬烷的聚合反应机理

根据在自由基引发剂存在下,8,9-苯并-2-亚甲基-1,4,6-三氧螺(4,4)壬烷(Ⅰ)可能存在的竞争反应,推导了动力学方程式。用红外光谱法测定了单体的消失速率和苯酞的生成速率。实验结果与推导动力学方程式相符。进一步证明了单体(Ⅰ)的增长反应由加成聚合和开环—异构化—加成这两个反应组成。这两个反应对总速率的相对贡献与单体浓度有关。得到了共聚物的结构。

Effect of molecular orientation distribution and crystallinity on the measurement of the crystal lattice modulus of nylon 6 by x-ray diffraction

The crystal lattice modulus of nylon 6 (-type) was measured by x-ray diffraction using nylon 6 films drawn up to five times. The measured crystal lattice modulus was 173–175 GPa for all specimens whose crystallinity and the Young's modulus were beyond 46% and 3.75 GPa, respectively. These results indicate that a state of homogenous stress can be achieved. In contrast, the values were scattered for the speciments whose crystallinity and Young's modulus are less than the above values. To study the origin, a numerical calculation of the crystal lattice modulus, as measured by x-ray diffraction, was carried out by considering effects on the orientation factors of molecular chains and crystallinity. In this calculation, a previously introduced model was employed, in which oriented crystalline layers are surrounded by oriented amorphous phases so that the strains of the two phases at the boundary are identical. The theoretical results calculated by the introduced model indicated that the crystal lattice modulus by x-ray diffraction is almost equal to the intrinsic crystal modulus if the morphology of the test specimen can be represented as a series model. In contrast, if a parallel model is more appropriate, the difference between the measured modulus and the intrinsic value can be pronounced. Such morphological dependence was found to be less pronounced with increasing high degree of molecular orientation and crystallinity.     

Cr_2O_7~(2-)对B-Z振荡反应的影响及其分析应用

研究了Cr2O72-对B-Z化学振荡反应的影响.结果表明,Cr2O27-的加入明显改变该振荡反应的诱导期,且诱导期的改变值Δtin与所加入Cr2O72-的浓度有良好的线性关系,线性范围3.45×10-6~6.20×10-4mol·L-1,相关系数为0.9992,对Cr2O72-扰动B-Z振荡反应的机理进行了探讨.
