Electrode Kinetics and Ternary Complex Formation of Cd2+‐Antibiotics‐Vitamin‐B5 System. A Polarographic Study

Cd²⁺ complexes with antibiotics viz. neomycin, chlortetracycline, oxytetracycline, tetracycline, penicillin‐V and penicillin‐G as primary ligands and vitamin‐B₅ as secondary ligand have been reported at pH = 7.30 ± 0.01 and μ = 1.0 M KNO₃ at 298 K by polarographic technique.¹ Cd²⁺ formed 1:1:1, 1:1:2, and 1:2:1 complexes with a stability constants trend of neomycin < chlortetracycline < oxytetracycline < tetracycline < penicillin‐V < penicillin‐G can be explained on the basis of the nature of ligands, bonding, and steric hindrance of these drugs. The nature of electrode processes were reversible and diffusion controlled. The values of stability constants showed that these drugs can be used to reduce the toxicity of Cd.     

Reactions of Hydroxyazolidines with π-Donor Heterocycles. 3. Reaction of 1-Acetyl-5-hydroxypyrazolidines with Oxindoles

The reaction of oxindoles with 5-hydroxypyrazolidines on the surface of potassium fluoride-modified alumina leads to 3-(5-pyrazolidinyl)oxindoles. The structure of these products was studied.

Aliphatic amidoximesR—C (NH₂)=NOH react with diketene to yield 5-acetonyl-3-alkyl-1,2,4-oxadiazoles, which are susceptible to a wide variety of reactions at the keto-group as well as at the methylene-group. Their transformations into 1-methyl-2-oxadiazolyl-vinylN,N-dimethylcarbamates, 2-chloro-1-oxadiazolylpropenes, 1-oxadiazolyl-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propenes, 1,1-dichloro-1-oxadiazolylacetones and 3-hydroxy-2-oxadiazolyl-crotonic amides are described as well as their reactions with diazonium salts, with sodium nitrite and with carbon disulfide. Further products obtained are carbamates of of 1-oxadiazolyl-2-oxo-propane-1-oximes, 2-chloro-2-oxadiazolylvinyl phosphates and an oxadiazolyl pyrimidine.

Synthesis of Substituted Hydroxyspiro([1]benzopyran-2,4'(1'H)-pyrimidine)-2'(3'H)thiones and Hydroxyspiro-([1]benzopyran-2,4'(1'H)-pyrimidin)-2'(3'H)ones

We have developed a novel regioselective method for synthesis of substituted spiro([1]benzopyran-2,4'-(1'H)pyrimidine)-2'-(3'H)thiones and spiro([1]benzopyran-2,4'-(1'H)pyrimidin)-2'-(3'H)ones having one or two hydroxyl groups on the benzene ring.     

Fabrication of solid thin film electrolyte and LiCoO2 by aerosol flame pyrolysis deposition

Aerosol flame pyrolysis deposition method was applied to deposit the oxide glass electrolyte film and LiCoO₂ cathode for thin film type Li-ion secondary battery. The thicknesses of as-deposited porous LiCoO₂ and Li₂O–B₂O₃–P₂O₅ electrolyte film were about 6 μm and 15 μm, respectively. The deposited LiCoO₂ was sintered for 2 min at 700 °C to make partially densified cathode layer, and the deposited Li₂O–P₂O₅–B₂O₃ glass film completely densified by the sintering at 700 °C for 1 h. After solid state sintering process the thicknesses were reduced to approximately 4 μm and 6 μm, respectively. The cathode and electrolyte layers were deposited by continuous deposition process and integrated into a layer by co-sintering. It was demonstrated that Aerosol flame deposition is one of the good candidates for the fabrication of thin film battery.     

V_2O_5/C催化氧化乙二醛制备乙醛酸

利用等体积浸渍法制备了V2O5/C催化剂,并应用于乙二醛的液相氧化反应,采用XRD、TEM手段对催化剂进行了物化性质表征.结果表明,V2O5/C对乙二醛的氧化表现出较高的催化活性和乙醛酸选择性,反应10h,乙二醛的转化率达29.2%,乙醛酸得率13.6%.与贵金属Pd-Bi/C催化剂相比,V2O5/C催化剂的稳定性和重复使用效果都比较好.     

An ultrasensitive method for the determination of thiouracil and phenylthiouracil using capillary zone electrophoresis and laser-induced fluorescence detection

This paper reports the development of a method based on capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence detection for the simultaneous determination of thiouracil (TU) and phenylthiouracil (PhTU) with high sensitivity (nanomolar range, i.e., attomoles detected). After derivatization with 5-iodoacetamidofluorescein, the analytes were separated by capillary zone electrophoresis using 20 mM phosphate buffer (pH 10.0) and quantified by fluorescence detection. The linearity range, precision, recovery, and detection limits were determined, and the method was shown to be applicable for the determination of TU and PhTU in spiked feed samples and urine.     

丁二烯催化环化三聚中多金属的协同效应

研究了第二过渡金属化合物对ＴｉＣｌ４／ＡｌｅＴ１．４６ｃＬ１．５４催化丁二烯环化三聚的多金属协同效应。结果表明，极少量的第二过渡金属化合物，如Ｃｒ，（ａｃａｃ）３，Ｍｎ（ａｃａｃ）３，ＮｉＣｌ２，ＺｒＣｌ４等加入ＴｉＣｌ４／ＡｌＥｔ１．４６Ｃｌ１．５４体系后不同程度地提高了丁二烯环化三聚的选择性，并改变了体系的最大速率和催化剂效率。     

A new approach to 6-deoxy-D-allofuranose- and 6-deoxy-L-talofuranose derivatives from 1,2:5,6-di-O-isopropylidene α-D-glucofuranose

3-O-Acetyl-1,2-O-isopropylidene--D-allofuranose (2 b) was prepared from 1,2:5,6-di-O-isopropylidene--D-allofuranose (1 b). Treatment of2 b with triphenylphosphine-diethyl azodicarboxylate afforded regio- and stereospecifically the 5,6-epoxy--D-allo derivative (3). The other diastereomeric compound, 5,6-epoxy-1,2-O-isopropylidene--L-talofuranose (6) was also prepared stereoselectively from2 b via the intermediates5 a and5 b. The epoxy sugars3 and6 were converted with lithium aluminum hydride to the corresponding 6-deoxy-1,2-O-isopropylidene--D-allofuranose (4 a) and --L-talofuranose (7 a) derivatives. Hydrolysis of4 a and7 a afforded 6-deoxy-D-allose and 6-deoxy-L-talose, respectively. The corresponding 3,5-di-O-acetyl- (4 b and7 b) and the 3,5-O-(tetraisopropyldisiloxane-1,3-diyl) derivatives (4 c and7 c) are also described. Selective removal of the isopropylidene group and subsequent acetylation offers a convenient route to prepare sugar derivatives containing furanose ring, like8 b, as a suitable precursor for nucleoside analogs.Herrn Prof. Dr.K.
