We study the decimation to a sublattice of half the sites of the one-dimensional Dyson–Ising ferromagnet with slowly decaying long-range pair potentials of the form , deep in the phase transition region ( and low temperature). We prove non-Gibbsianness of the decimated measures at low enough temperatures by exhibiting a point of essential discontinuity for the (finite-volume) conditional probabilities of decimated Gibbs measures. This result complements previous work proving conservation of Gibbsianness for fastly decaying potentials () and provides an example of a “standard” non-Gibbsian result in one dimension, in the vein of similar results in higher dimensions for short-range models. We also discuss how these measures could fit within a generalized (almost vs. weak) Gibbsian framework. Moreover we comment on the possibility of similar results for some other transformations. 相似文献

A finite group G is exceptional if it has a quotient Q whose minimal faithful permutation degree is greater than that of G. We say that Q is a distinguished quotient.The smallest examples of exceptional p-groups have order . For an odd prime p, we classify all pairs where G has order and Q is a distinguished quotient. (The case has already been treated by Easdown and Praeger.) Here we give a new approach to the Paley–Wiener theorem in a Mellin analysis setting which avoids the use of the Riemann surface of the logarithm and analytical branches and is based on new concepts of polar‐analytic function in the Mellin setting and Mellin–Bernstein spaces. In this paper, we use the powerful tool Milnor bases to determine all the locally symmetric left invariant Riemannian metrics up to automorphism, on 3‐dimensional connected and simply connected Lie groups, by solving system of polynomial equations of constants structure of each Lie algebra . Through solving the problem step by step and by applying the method of a C0 semigroup of operators combined with the Banach contraction theorem, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of a mild solution of semilinear impulsive integro‐differential evolution equation in Banach spaces. In addition, an explicit iterative approximation sequence of the mild solution is derived. The assumed conditions in the present theorems are weaker and more general, and the results obtained are the generalizations and improvements of some known results. We consider the space of countable structures with fixed underlying set in a given countable language. We show that the number of ergodic probability measures on this space that are -invariant and concentrated on a single isomorphism class must be zero, or one, or continuum. Further, such an isomorphism class admits a unique -invariant probability measure precisely when the structure is highly homogeneous; by a result of Peter J.
