A new convenient synthesis of N-acyl-2-(dimethoxyphosphoryl)glycinates

Easily accessible N-acyl-2-triphenylphosphonioglycinate tetrafluoroborates react smoothly with trimethylphosphite in the presence of methyltriphenylphosphonium iodide to give N-acyl-2-(dimethoxyphosphoryl)glycinates in good or very good yields. The dimethoxyphosphorylglycinates may be isolated by column chromatography, or used directly for the Wadsworth-Emmons synthesis of α,β-dehydro-α-amino acids in a one-pot procedure without purification.

用MINDO/3方法洋细研究了取代基对α-氨基乙腈热消除反应的影响. 研究表明, 对于孤立分子的气相反应, 给电子基使活化势垒降低, 吸电子基使活化势垒上升; 而对OH~-催化下的反应, 给电子基和吸电子基均使活化势垒上升.     

Stereoselective preparation of spirane bridged, sandwiched bisarenes

Preparation of α-oxo derivatives of spiro[4.4]nonane, spiro[4.5]decane and spiro[5.5]undecane derivatives is described. An efficient method for spiroannulation by Rh(I)-catalysed intramolecular hydroacylation provides α,α′-difunctionalised spiro[4.5]decanes. The α,α′-dioxo groups have been converted into vinyl triflates for arylation by Pd-catalysed cross-coupling reactions under Stille, Negishi or Suzuki conditions depending on relative reactivities. Stereoselective saturation of the conjugated aryl olefinic bonds by catalytic hydrogenation over Pd-carbon provides methodology for stereoselective preparation of α-aryl- and α,α′-cis,cis-diaryl spiranes, the latter with a sandwich like structure. Single crystal X-ray analyses have been used in the structural assignments.

Effect of monomer molecular flow on electrode surface on the structure of poly(α-tetrathiophene) obtained by anodic polymerization

Different structures have been found for poly(α-tetrathiophene) [poly(α-4TF)] electrosynthesized on Pt by anodic oxidation of 1.0 mM monomer solutions in media such as 45:35:20 (v/v/v) acetonitrile/THF/DMF, 45:35:20 (v/v/v) acetonitrile/ethanol/DMF and 72:28 (v/v) acetonitrile/DMF containing 0.1 M LiClO₄; as well as 72:28 (v/v) acetonitrile/DMF with 0.1 M NaClO₃, under dynamic and static conditions at 25 °C. In all cases the polymer was generated by chronoamperometry at 1.000 V vs. Ag∣AgCl, corresponding to the first oxidation peak detected by cyclic voltammetry. Uniform, adherent, insoluble and black polymer films were obtained under these conditions. The resulting structures have been elucidated by combining the information of their IR spectrum, n_ox-value and doping level of the counterion. The degree of crosslinking of every polymer has been quantified and related to the molecular flow of monomer on the Pt electrode. A monomer concentration flow between 4 × 10⁻⁶ and 5 × 10⁻⁶ mmol cm⁻² s⁻¹ was determined as the limiting value below which the polymer grows with crosslinking. This value corresponds to the electropolymerization rate of α-4TF by Pt area unit at 25 °C.     

An anti-herpes simplex virus-type 1 agent from Xylaria mellisii (BCC 1005)

A structurally unique polyketide, mellisol (1) and 1,8-dihydroxynaphthol 1-O-α-glucopyranoside (3), were isolated from the fungus Xylaria mellisii (BCC 1005). The relative stereostructure of 1 was determined on the basis of X-ray crystallographic data. Compounds 1 and 3 exhibited activity against herpes simplex virus-type 1 with IC₅₀ values of 10.50 and 8.40 μg/mL, respectively. They also showed cytotoxic activity against vero cells at the concentration of 40-50 μg/mL.     

α-Fe2O3纳米微粒/硬脂酸交替L-B膜的结构表征

We reported in this paper FTIR linear diehroic spectroscopy and anisotropic properties of the nanoparticulate α-Fe_2O_3-stearate alternating Langmuir-Blodgett films (Fe_2O_3-St LB films) a new inorganic-organic quantum superlattice system. A new method fitted to inorganic-organic alternating films is used to study the molecular orientation and discuss the order arrangement of the nanopartieles in the films. The the results show that a configuration of stearate ions bound to the surface of the nano-particles: COO~- group are spherically bound to the surface of the nanoparticles; the hydrocarbon chains are almost perpendicular (31°±5°) to the substrate (7 nm-Fe_2O_3-St LB films). The orientation of hydrocarbon chains and CH_2 scissors vibration show the existence of trans-zigzag planar structure for C—C broken bone of the hy7drocarbon chains, which is related to high-order structure of the alternate films.     

α-乙酰基二硫缩烯酮α碳原子的酰化反应

进行了α-乙酰基二硫缩烯酮与酰氯的酰化反应. 以干燥的二氯甲烷为溶剂, 在四氯化钛催化下, α-乙酰基环二硫缩烯酮(1)可与脂肪及芳酰氯(2)反应, 在化合物1的α-碳原子上发生酰化反应, 以较高的产率生成各种α-乙酰基-α-酰基二硫缩烯酮(3).     

Dehalogenation of o-dihalogen substituted arenes and α,α′-dihalogen substituted o-xylenes with lanthanum metal

It was found that lanthanum metal caused the dehalogenation of o-dihalogen substituted arenes and α,α′-dihalogen substituted o-xylenes to generate the corresponding benzynes and o-quinodimethanes. When o-dihalogen substituted arenes were allowed to react with lanthanum metal in the presence of dienes, the Diels-Alder products between benzyne and dienes were formed in moderate to good yields. Similarly, the Diels-Alder adducts of o-quinodimethane with dienophiles were obtained, in the reaction of α,α′-dibromo-o-xylenes with lanthanum metal in the presence of dienophiles.     

Synthesis of N-（α-Alkoxyalkyl）benzotriazoles Catalyzed by Acidic Ionic Liquid at Room Temperature

N-（α-Alkoxyalkyl）benzotriazoles were synthesized via the condensation of benzotriazole with various aldehydes and alcohols catalyzed by acidic ionic liquid [hmim]HSO4 at room temperature. The yield was up to 99%. This novel method was effective when triethoxymethane was utilized instead of alcohols. Moreover, acidic ionic liquid could be reused easily with no significant degradation of its catalytic activity.
