A series of 3,3′‐(benzylene)bis(4‐hydroxy‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one) derivatives have been synthesized from condensation reactions of 4‐hydroxycoumarin with benzaldehydes under thermal solvent‐free conditions. Semicarbazide functionalized with chlorosulfonic acid on the surface of silica‐coated magnetic nanoparticles, {Fe3O4@SiO2@(CH2)3Semicarbazide‐SO3H/HCl}, as a novel magnetic Brønsted acid catalyst according to the aims of green chemistry was synthesized and fully characterized using Fourier transform infrared, UV–visible and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopies, X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron, transmission electron and atomic force microscopies and thermogravimetric analysis. The capability and excellent activity of this nanoparticle catalyst were exhibited in the synthesis of two series of compounds with important biological activities, namely 3,3′‐(arylmethylene)bis(4‐hydroxycoumarin) and 1‐carbamato‐alkyl‐2‐naphthol derivatives, under mild, green and solvent‐free conditions. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study of the synthesis and application of {Fe3O4@SiO2@(CH2)3Semicarbazide‐SO3H/HCl} as Brønsted acid solid magnetic nanoparticles. Consequently the present study can open up a novel and promising intuition in the sequence of logical design, synthesis and applications of task‐specific Brønsted acid magnetic nanoparticle catalyst with favourable properties as a full‐fledged efficient material for sustainable approaches. Combined quantum‐chemical and spectral studies of the features of electron transitions and absorption spectra of symmetrical and unsymmetrical polymethine dyes, derivatives of aminocoumarin, have been performed. It was established that the lowest two electron transitions are splitting transitions, involving solitonic level and two low positioned acceptor levels, in contrast to the cationic cyanine dyes, where two lowest transitions are connected with two splitting donor levels and solitonic level. The considerable interaction between two acceptor levels in symmetrical dyes provides an additional decrease of the first transition energy and hence leads to the relatively deep and intensive color, whereas the second transition with its negligible oscillator strength is practically unobserved. The higher electron transitions involve orbitals located mainly at the coumarin residue; the corresponding spectral bands appear in the short‐wavelength region. Introduction of dialkylamino group in coumarin heterocycle shifts bathochromically the long‐wavelength absorption band and considerably increases the intensity of S0S1 and S0S3 electron transitions. From the dichloromethane extract of the roots of Peucedanum paniculatum L., two new coumarins, a species endemic to Corsica, have been isolated. Their structures were elucidated, on the basis of spectroscopic studies, particularly 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, as 6-(7'-beta-cyclolavandulyl)-7-hydroxycoumarin 1 and a spirodihydrofurano-coumarin 2 (Kallisteine A and B).  相似文献

Abstract

A new kinetic method for determination of traces of manganese(II) based on its catalytic effect on the oxidation of 4‐hydroxycoumarine with KMnO4 at pH=1.35 and at a temperature of 25°C was proposed. The reaction was followed spectrophotometrically by measuring the decrease in the absorbance of the dye at 525 nm. The calibration graph is linear in the range 20–200 ng/cm3. The effects of certain foreign ions upon the reaction rate were determined for assessment by the selectivity of the method. The proposed method has been applied for determination of manganese(II) in river water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

An efficient and simple method for the synthesis of bis(4‐hydroxycoumarin)methanes has been achieved through a one‐pot condensation of aryl aldehydes and 4‐hydroxycoumarin in the presence of nanoporous solid acid catalyst of SBA‐Pr‐SO3H with pore size of 6 nm. Excellent yields, short reaction times, reusability of the catalyst and simple workup are advantages of this synthetic procedure.  相似文献

Nanomagnetic bisethylferrocene‐containing ionic liquid supported on silica‐coated iron oxide (Fe3O4@SiO2@Im‐bisethylFc [HC2O4]) as a novel catalyst was designed and synthesized. The described catalyst was recycled and used without change in the time and efficiency of the condensation reaction. The Fourier transform‐infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), scanning electron microscopy images, X‐ray diffraction patterns, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, transmission electron microscope and vibrating‐sample magnetometer results confirmed the formation of Fe3O4@SiO2@Im‐bisethylFc [HC2O4] magnetic nanoparticle. The novel bis‐coumarin derivatives were identified by 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, FT‐IR and CHNS analysis.  相似文献
