A polyurethane foam (PUF) sponge was mounted in a cassette sampler and evaluated as a sorbent for the collection of hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) monomer and HDI-based oligomers. Recovery studies indicated 112 +/- 34% average recovery of HDI monomer and 92 +/- 9% and 97 +/- 25% average recovery of HDI-based oligomers when using impregnated PUF sponges. The PUF sponge was also evaluated during actual spray-painting operations. In a series of side-by-side sampling events, an impinger filled with 1-(2-methoxyphenyl)piperazine (MOP) in toluene was compared directly with a cassette sampler containing a PUF sponge impregnated with MOP or 1-(9-anthracenylmethyl)piperazine (MAP) in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). For the analysis of HDI-based oligomer, there is no significant difference (p < 0.05, n = 7) in the air concentration when sampling with either the PUF sponge cassette or the impinger. The results are significant because they indicate that a PUF sponge, which is more convenient than an impinger, may be used for the collection of HDI-based oligomer generated during spray-painting operations. 相似文献

The immobilization of anti-IgG on Au-colloid modified gold electrodes has been investigated. A cleaned gold electrode was first immersed in a mercaptoethylamine (AET) solution, and then gold nanoparticles were chemisorbed onto the thiol groups of the mercaptoethylamine. Finally, anti-IgG was adsorbed onto the surface of the gold nanoparticles. Potentiometric immunosensor, cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance techniques were used to investigate the immobilization of anti-IgG on Au colloids. In the impedance spectroscopic study, an obvious difference of the electron transfer resistance between the Au-colloid modified electrode and the bare gold electrode was observed. The cyclic voltammogram tends to be more irreversible with increased anti-IgG concentration. Using the potentiometric immunosensor, the proposed technique is based on that the specific agglutination of antibody-coated gold nanoparticles, averaging 16 nm in diameter, in the presence of the corresponding antigen causes a potential change that is monitored by a potentiometry. It is found that the developed immunoagglutination assay system is sensitive to the concentration of IgG antigen as low as 12 ng mL(-1). Experimental results showed that the developed technique is in satisfactory agreement with the ELISA method, and that gold nanoparticles can be used as a biocompatible matrix for antibody or antigen immobilization. 相似文献

The Raman spectra and Surface enhanced Raman spectra (SERS) of leucine and isoleucine adsorbed on core-shell Au/Ag nanoparticles were obtained and assigned, and the different Raman peaks resulting from different vibrational models of the isomers忆groups were analysed. In Raman spectra, the leucine’s (ω(CH3)) is at 962, 945, 924 cm-1, (δas(CH3)) at 1408, 1454 cm-1; corresponding values for isoleucine are, 922 cm-1 and 1448, 1420, 1394 cm-1, respectwely. The difference in the peak positions of corresponding groups between leucine and isoleucine is more apparent in the SERS at acidic and basic conditions. The relationship between leucine and isoleucine’s concentration and SERS was interpreted preliminarily and the adsorption model on the core-shell Au/Ag nanoparticle surface was speculated. 相似文献
