Injection locking and multi-mode switching characteristics of a semiconductor ring laser with the radius of 10 μm are investigated based on a nonlinear time domain multimode rate-equation model. The stable injection locking regions for different target modes are studied as the function of detuning frequency and injection power ratio. The results show that ultra-wide detuning range of ∼100 GHz wide at 5 dB injection power ratio and ultra-low switching power ratio of −27 dB can be realized for this micro-ring laser device. Optimal detuning value and high injection power lead to the minimal switching time. An ultrafast response time of 10 ps indicates that a 10 μm-radius SRL can be utilized for ultrafast all-optical scenarios and high-speed tunable lasers.  相似文献

In Part I of this work (Comm. Nonlin. Sci. Numer. Simulat. 18 (2013) 1710–1724), an experimental investigation on nonlinear low-frequency gravity water waves in a cylindrical shell subjected to high-frequency horizontal excitations was reported. To reveal the mechanism of this phenomenon, a theoretical analysis is now presented as Part II of the work. A set of nonlinear equations for two mode interactions is established based on variational principle of fluid-shell coupled system. Theory proofs that for high frequency mode of circumferential wave number m nonlinear interaction exits only with gravity wave modes of circumferential wave number zero or 2m. Multi-scale analysis reveals that appearance of such phenomenon is due to Hopf bifurcation of the dynamic system. Curves of critic excitation force with respect to excitation frequency are obtained by analysis. Theoretical results show good qualitative and quantitative agreement with experimental observations.  相似文献

利用短时傅里叶变换计算速度快的特点,先对瞬态位移干涉仪信号进行预处理,得到速度的轮廓范围.据此估计小波变换中尺度因子的范围,然后用连续小波变换的方法对信号再次进行处理,用此方法分析计算机模拟出的位移干涉信号,恢复的速度相对误差小于2%.对高速爆轰实验中的位移干涉信号分别采用短时傅立叶变换、小波变换和二者相结合的方式进行分析,并记录三者的计算速度.实验表明,第三种方法能准确地恢复出物体的速度历史,计算误差在系统要求的范围内.本文综合计算速度和计算误差两方面的考虑,选择了适合于瞬态位移干涉信号处理的方法.  相似文献

The separated and ultrafine TiO2 nanotubes are fabricated by a modified rapid anodization method, which cannot be achieved through conventional anodization. Then, model dye-sensitized solar cells based on the prepared TiO2 nanotubes and commercial TiO2 nanoparticles (P25) are investigated, and a discrepancy is discovered between the light-harvesting capability and the power conversion efficiency. The charge transport and recombination are studied by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and the open-circuit voltage decay technique. Results show that the nanotube photoanode owns a longer electron diffusion length and a larger electron lifetime than the nanoparticle one, which can compensate for the loss of light absorption. The enhanced electron collection efficiency observed is attributed to the facilitated charge carrier pathways in the photoanode composed by the separated TiO2 nanotubes fabricated in this work. Therefore, the TiO2 nanotubes synthesized by this method are verified to have good electronic properties, which might find applications not only in photovoltaic, but also in catalysis, sensors, and other areas.  相似文献

In this work, we propose the theory of fuzzy linguistic soft set (FLSS) to represent the uncertainty and multi-angle of view when decision makers evaluate an object during decision-making. FLSS integrates fuzzy set theory, linguistic variable and soft set theory. It allows decision makers to utilize linguistic variables to evaluate an object and utilize fuzzy values to describe the corresponding grade of their support of their decisions. Meanwhile, because of the flexibility of soft set, decision makers can use more than one pair of fuzzy-linguistic evaluations to express their opinions from multiple perspectives directly, if necessary. Therefore, it is more flexible and practical than traditional fuzzy set or 2-dimension uncertainty linguistic variable. We also develop a generalized weighted aggregation operator for FLSSs to solve corresponding decision-making issues. Finally, we give a numerical example to verify the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper discusses the spectral properties of the nonsymmetric saddle point matrices of the form with A symmetric positive definite, B full rank, and C symmetric positive semidefinite. A new sufficient condition is obtained so that is diagonalizable with all its eigenvalues real and positive. This condition is weaker than that stated in the recent paper [J. An axial relativistic electron beam passing through a slow wave structure is unstable to an electromagnetic perturbation whose phase velocity equals the velocity of the beam. This phenomenon of Cherenkov emission is the basis of all traveling wave tubes. In this paper an excitation of Cherenkov radiation by a thin annular relativistic electron beam in a plasma-filled dielectric-lined waveguide is analysed by use of the self-consistent linear theory. The effect of the thin annular electron beam on the beam-wave interaction is completely described by a jump condition. The dispersion equation and the simultaneous condition of the beam-wave interaction are derived. Finally, the growth rate of the wave is obtained, and the effect of the background plasma density and the electron beam radius on the growth rate of the wave are presented.This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China.  相似文献

In this work, we used different treatment methods (ultrasonic degreasing, hydrochloric acid treatment, and oxygen plasma) to modify the surfaces of indium-tin oxide (ITO) substrates for organic light-emitting devices. The surface properties of treated ITO substrates were studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), sheet resistance, contact angle, and surface energy measurements. Experimental results show that the ITO surface properties are closely related to the treatment methods, and the oxygen plasma is more efficient than the other treatments since it brings about smoother surfaces, lower sheet resistance, higher work function, and higher surface energy and polarity of the ITO substrate. Moreover, polymer light-emitting electrochemical cells (PLECs) with differently treated ITO substrates as device electrodes were fabricated and characterized. It is found that surface treatments of ITO substrates have a certain degree of influence upon the injection current, brightness, and efficiency, but hardly upon the turn-on voltages of current injection and light emission, which are in agreement with the measured optical energy gap of the electroluminescent polymer. The oxygen plasma treatment on the ITO substrate yields the best performance of PLECs, due to the improvement of interface formation and electrical contact of the ITO substrate with the polymer blend in the PLECs.  相似文献
