The Synthesis of 1,4‐Bis[N‐(4/6‐Substituted Benzothiazole‐2‐yl)‐N′‐Glycosylguanidino]Benzenes

The starting material O‐protected glycosyl isothiocyanate ( 1?3 ) was refluxed with 1,4‐diaminobenzene in CHCl₃ under nitrogen atmosphere to give 1,4‐bis(N‐glycosyl)thioureidobenzene ( 4?6 ). Then 1,4‐bis[N‐(4/6‐substituted benzothiazole‐2‐yl)‐N′‐glycosylguanidino]benzenes ( 8a?8e , 9a?9e , 10a?10e ) were obtained in good yield by reaction of compounds ( 4?6 ) with 2‐amino‐4/6‐benzothizoles ( 7a?7e ) and HgCl₂ in the presence of TEA in DMF. The structures of all 18 new compounds were confirmed by IR, ¹H NMR, LC‐MS and elemental analysis. The bioactivity of anti‐HIV‐1 protease (HIV‐1 PR) and against angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) have been evaluated.     

A Facile Method of Synthesis of a Calix[4]arene Amide and the Crystal Structure of a Self-assembled Calix[4]arene Amide via van Der Waals Interaction

A new facile method of synthesis of calix[4]arene amide via the aminolysis of the calix[4]arene esters was reported. One ethyl ester of the compound (2) was aminolysized byn-butylamine. The crystal structure of compound (1)shows that one ethyl ester of compound (1) enters into thecavity of another compound (1) forming a long chainhost-guest supramolecule. From the 2D NMR data, the compound(1) does not assemble in THF or CHCl₃ solution. The CH- interaction and crystallization energy might be theimportant driving forces for forming the self-assembledcalix[4]arene.     

以学生为中心的物理化学远程教学初探

During the fight against the new coronavirus epidemic, the "Physical Chemistry" team of Beijing Normal University used various network platforms and tools, such as MOOC of China University, Rain Classroom and WeChat Group in the teaching process. The exploration and practice of online learning of "Physical Chemistry" is carried out based on MOOC teaching, with student learning as the center and teacher guidance as the support. Taking the most difficult chapter of "fundamentals for statistical thermodynamic" as an example, we designed a complex teaching program that includes previews, watching MOOC videos in class, real-time online exercises, teachers' answers, and after-class reflection and questioning. The students were encouraged to learn independently through the reserved information, designed activities and assignments. Practice shows that the online course has cultivated the students' self-management ability, trained their critical thinking skills, and achieved good teaching results.     

数字喷墨印刷关键技术及其实现

经过20多年的完善与发展，喷墨技术已经成为大幅面广告印刷行业的主要印刷技术。随着图书按需印刷需求的快速扩张以及国家环保政策的迅速落地，喷墨印刷技术作为一项高效环保的数字化印刷技术，得到越来越高的关注，业内普遍认为喷墨印刷技术将是数字化印刷的必然发展趋势。然而与已经成熟的多Pass喷墨印刷设备不同，单Pass喷墨印刷设备在数据带宽、数据在线重构、高精度同步控制、喷嘴在线补偿等方面有着极高的技术要求。本文首先简要介绍了喷墨技术，然后针对单Pass喷墨印刷设备需要解决的技术问题提出了相应的解决方案。依据本文技术设计的单Pass书刊喷墨印刷机已经投放市场，并且获得了用户的普遍认可。     

Analysis on absorption spectra of Nd in poly(methyl methacrylate)

The absorption spectrum of neodymium (III) (Nd³⁺ doped in poly(methyl methacrylate) was measured. The Nephlauxetic effect was found in the spectrum compared to other spectra of Nd³⁺ doped in various matrices. The experimental data used, Slater-Condon parameters (F₂,F₄,F₆) and Lander parameter (ζ_4f) were calculated by the Taylor series expansion based on the assumption that the energy separation between J-levels of the 4fⁿ-configuration is a function of F₂,F₄,F₆ and ζ_4f. The Judd-Ofled intensity parameters (Ω₂,Ω₄,Ω₆) were also calculated. Analysis of the Nephlauxetic effect and the parameters variation on the host matrices was carried out.     

Preparation and application of Ce-doped mesoporous TiO2oxide

Summary Mesoporous TiO₂-CeO₂mixed oxides (m-TiO₂-CeO₂) were synthesized under easy-operating neutral conditions. The structure was characterized by means of FT-IR, XRD, and N₂adsorption methods. For methanol decomposition to CO and H₂, the catalytic activity of the Ru/ m-TiO₂-CeO₂ catalyst was higher than that of the Ru/ m-TiO₂.</o:p>

The invention of air conditioner (AC) has undoubtedly saved the world from the heat of summer. The development of AC is an important embodiment of continuous development and perfection of science and technology. This article explains the mechanism of freon pollution from the perspective of chemistry, and enumerates the important role of fluoride in daily life, to eliminates people's misunderstanding of fluorine element. The hardships of extracting fluorine reflect the chemists' research experience of collecting experience from failure and the scientific spirit of pursuing the truth.     

D-甘露醇与D-山梨醇在氯化钠水溶液中的稀释焓

应用等温流动微量热法测定了298.15 K时互为旋光异构体的D-甘露醇与D-山梨醇在不同浓度的氯化钠水溶液中的稀释焓, 利用 McMillan-Mayer 理论计算了D-甘露醇与D-山梨醇在不同浓度的氯化钠水溶液中的焓对相互作用系数. 结果表明, D-甘露醇和D-山梨醇在氯化钠水溶液中的焓对相互作用系数h2均为正值, h2的值随着氯化钠浓度的增加皆逐渐增大, 但D-山梨醇的焓对相互作用系数h2增大的速率[dh2 /dm(NaCl)]比 D-甘露醇的要大. 根据两多元醇分子构象结构的差异， 溶质-溶质相互作用和溶质-溶剂相互作用对结果进行了解释.     

Voltammetric Behavior of the Alizarin Red S Interaction with DNA and Damage to DNA

The electrochemical behavior and the interaction of alizarin red S (ARS) with calf thymus DNA was investigated on a bare glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and DNA modified GCE (DNA/GCE), respectively. ARS showed a pair of redox peaks at ?0.445 V and ?0.414 V on a bare GCE. On addition of DNA into the ARS solution, the peak current of ARS decreased and the peak potential positively shifted, but without new redox peaks appeared. The ARS reduction peak current increased with immersion time on a DNA/GCE. The results showed that ARS could interact with DNA molecules by intercalative binding mode. The equilibrium constant, binding number and the ratio of binding constant for oxidized and reduced ARS forms were obtained. The DNA damage was directly detected by appearance of guanosine and adenosine bases oxidation signal. The influence of experimental conditions on DNA damage extent was discussed in detail.     

N‐Heterocyclic Carbene–Palladium Complexes as Efficient Catalysts for the Oxidative Carbonylation of Amines to Ureas

A highly efficient oxidative carbonylation reaction of amines to ureas was developed making use of carbene–palladium complexes in the absence of any promoter. Both aliphatic amines and aromatic amines were transformed in good to excellent yields to the expected ureas.
