Iridium complexes bearing chelating cyclometalates are popular choices as dopant emitters in the fabrication of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). In this contribution, we report a series of blue-emitting, bis-tridentate IrIII complexes bearing chelates with two fused five-six-membered metallacycles, which are in sharp contrast to the traditional designs of tridentate chelates that form the alternative, fused five-five metallacycles. Five IrIII complexes, Px-21 – 23 , Cz-4 , and Cz-5 , have been synthesized that contain a coordinated dicarbene pincer chelate incorporating a methylene spacer and a dianionic chromophoric chelate possessing either a phenoxy or carbazolyl appendage to tune the coordination arrangement. All these tridentate chelates afford peripheral ligand–metal–ligand bite angles of 166–170°, which are larger than the typical bite angle of 153–155° observed for their five-five-coordinated tridentate counterparts, thereby leading to reduced geometrical distortion in the octahedral frameworks. Photophysical measurements and TD-DFT studies verified the inherent transition characteristics that give rise to high emission efficiency, and photodegradation experiments confirmed the improved stability in comparison with the benchmark fac-[Ir(ppy)3] in degassed toluene at room temperature. Phosphorescent OLED devices were also fabricated, among which the carbazolyl-functionalized emitter Cz-5 exhibited the best performance among all the studied bis-tridentate phosphors, showing a maximum external quantum efficiency (EQEmax) of 18.7 % and CIEx,y coordinates of (0.145, 0.218), with a slightly reduced EQE of 13.7 % at 100 cd m−2 due to efficiency roll-off. 相似文献

Two kinds of inorganic gadolinium(III)‐hydroxy “ladders”, [2×n] and [3×n], were successfully trapped in succinate (suc) coordination polymers, [Gd2(OH)2(suc)2(H2O)]n ? 2n H2O ( 1 ) and [Gd6(OH)8(suc)5(H2O)2]n ? 4n H2O ( 2 ), respectively. Such coordination polymers could be regarded as alternating inorganic–organic hybrid materials with relatively high density. Magnetic and heat capacity studies reveal a large cryogenic magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in both compounds, namely (ΔH=70 kG) 42.8 J kg?1 K?1 for complex 1 and 48.0 J kg?1 K?1 for complex 2 . The effect of the high density is evident, which gives very large volumetric MCEs up to 120 and 144 mJ cm?3 K?1 for complexes 1 and 2 , respectively. 相似文献

Raman spectra of the Schiff 's base liquid crystalline compound 5O5, N-(4- n-pentyloxybenzylidene)-4'-n-pentylaniline, have been recorded as a function of temperature from 22 to 80°C in the 1140-1220 cm-1 and 1550-1640 cm-1 spectral regions. From careful deconvolution of the spectral features using Lorentzian profiles, precise values of peak positions, integrated intensities and linewidths of some selected Raman bands were obtained. The variations of the Raman spectral parameters with temperature are discussed in terms of changes in the molecular alignment and its effect on intra-/inter-molecular interactions at the Cr-G, G-SmF, SmF-SmC and SmA-N phase transitions. From a detailed study, it is inferred that the increased orientational/vibrational freedom of the alkyl chains, as well as the delocalization of the electron clouds, is responsible for the spectral anomalies at the Cr-G transition. Loss of positional ordering and twist around the -C6H4-N= bond takes place at the SmF-SmC transition. In the SmA-N transition, some evidence for the formation of cybotactic clusters was obtained. 相似文献

Starlike poly (oxypropylene) molecules (M=2630 resp. 710 g/mol), each with three OH-end-groups, are crosslinked with 4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate in one stoichiometric and several nonstoichiometric reactions. Dynamic mechanical (frequency 10–4 to 102 Hz) and also some dielectric (10–2 to 106 Hz) measurements were made on these networks in a wide temperature range. The time-temperature-superposition principle was used to obtain master curves. Two large relaxation processes were detected (separated by many decades of frequency in some samples). The high frequency process seems to correspond to the glass-rubber transition in linear polymers, the low frequency process is probably due to the relaxation of dangling chains. 相似文献

LaNb0.8M0.2O4-δ (where M=As, Sb, V, and Ta) oxides with pentavalent elements of different ionic sizes were synthesized by a solid-state reaction method. The vibrational properties of these oxides have been investigated. These studies revealed that the substituent element influences both Debye temperature value as well as the Raman active vibrational modes. Disperse Red 177(9a), Disperse Red 343(9b), Disperse Blue 165(9c), Disperse Blue 165.1(9d), Disperse Blue 366(9e), and Disperse Blue 148(9f) were examined in the solvent. During silicon nanomicelle dyeing, we employed 9(a–f) azo disperse dyes on polyester. On polyester fabric, dye 9(a–f) offers equal washing, light, and rubbing fastness in both the conventional and silicone nanomicelle techniques. The dye can now be transported directly into the fibre core without the use of auxiliary dyes owing to the reduction in the particle size of azo dyes, which is made possible by nanoemulsions superior dispersion. The levelling property of the dispersed dye is enhanced by the dyeing process. When both techniques are applied, the lightfastness properties of all dyes are improved. It provides a very good to outstanding protection factor for textile materials. These 9(a–f) azo disperse dyes have moderate to outstanding photostability, net electrophilicity index, and lightfastness. 相似文献

A new azo derivative 3-((4-H1benzo[d]imidazole-2-yl)-4-hydroxy benzaldehyde was prepared by reaction of benzimidazole derivative with 4-hydroxy benzaldehyde. The all-final compounds were diagnosis and determined the structure of these compounds using a variety of spectroscopic methods, including 1H-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass spectrometry magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption spectroscopy. The results showed that all metal ion complexes have an octahedral shape. Antimicrobial activity of the ligand and its metal ion complex had been tested against some selected microorganism such Streptococcus pyogenes a species of Gram-positive and Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common bacterium gram-negative, all prepared compounds displayed a strong antibacterial activity. Taken together, the results of the current study indicated that the new Azo derivative and their divalent metal ion complexes could be used as a future strategy for other biomedical applications. 相似文献
