The hexapyrrole-α,ω-dicarbaldehydes 1 a and 1 b were metallated with CuII, NiII, and PdII to give bimetallic complexes where a pair of 3 N+O four-coordinate metal planes are helically distorted and the central 2,2′-bipyrrole subunit adopts a cis or trans conformation. X-ray crystallographic analysis of the bisCu complex revealed a closed form with a cis-2,2′-bipyrrole subunit and an open form with a trans-2,2′-bipyrrole subunit. The bisPd complexes took a closed form both in the solid state and in solution. They are regarded as single helicates of two turns and the energy barrier for the interchange between an M helix and a P helix was remarkably influenced by the bulky 3,3′-substituent of the central 2,2′-bipyrrole subunit. Although the bisNi complexes adopt a closed form in the solid state, they exist as a homohelical open C2-symmetric form or a heterohelical open Ci-symmetric form in solution. A theoretical study suggested that the closed form of 1 a Pd was stabilized by the Pd–Pd interaction. Compound 1 a Pd was reversibly oxidized by one electron at 0.14 V versus ferrocene/ferrocenium (Fc/Fc+) and this oxidized species showed Vis/NIR absorption bands at λ=767 and 1408 nm. 相似文献

Non-equilibrium aspects of traditional electrokinetic phenomena (electrophoresis, electroosmosis, streaming potential, sedimentation potential), electrostatic interaction of particles and new electrokinetic phenomena are considered. The significance of non-equilibrium electric surface phenomena for many major areas of modern colloid science (characterization of colloids, membrane science, transport phenomena and separation, particle interaction and coagulation) is established.The study of non-equilibrium electric surface phenomena is connected with the validation of the standard electrokinetic model (SEM), the development of a non-standard model and the development of an extensive programme of disperse system characterization based on integrated electrokinetic investigations. Experimental and theoretical studies of systems with a smooth, non-porous impermeable surface (mica in Anderson's experiments, and quartz microcapillaries with a molecule-smooth surface in Churaev's experiments) have shown that usually there are no significant difficulties in interpreting electrokinetic investigations despite the possible anomaly in the water structure near the surface and the possibility of maximum shear stress (yield stress), i.e. the anomalous viscosity and decreased dissolving power with respect to ions. However, systems which do not satisfy the conditions of the SEM are widely distributed, owing to the porosity, roughness or permeability of the boundary layer of the surface of the solid body which simultaneously belongs to the solid and liquid phases. In this layer, enclosed between the outer Helmholtz plane and the slipping plane, the motion of the liquid strongly slows down and the tangential flow of ions is characterized purely by the mobility which is close to the normal. Thus, a general property of a non-standard electrokinetic model is the presence of an anomalous (additional) surface conductivity in excess of the surface conductivity determined according to Bikerman's equation based on the ζ -potential alone.Confidence in modelling the electrokinetic phenomena has grown with the development of methods for modifying the surface such that its properties approach those of the SEM (Bijsterbosch and co-workers; Saville and co-workers).Extension of the particle characterization concept requires the measurement of both the mobile charge and the electrokinetic charge and from this an estimate of the thickness of the additional conductivity zone can be made. With the additional measurement of a titratable charge, it is possible to estimate the ion distribution between the dense and diffuse parts of the double layer (DL) and to estimate the decreased mobility of ions in the Stern layer or in the immobilized part of the DL.Quantitative laws governing the interaction of particles and corresponding to the non-standard model substantially differ from the traditional laws described by the DVLO theory as applied to the SEM. This is also true for adsorption properties which are characterized without sufficient reason by means of the ζ-potential. Therefore both the development of models of interaction and adsorption of ions, allowing for the non-standard electrokinetic model, and the extension of the particle characterization programme to integrated investigations of electric surface phenomena are required.Further generalization of the theory of electrokinetic phenomena is achieved. The asymmetric synthesis of N-phenylethyl-2-phenyldecahydroquinolin-4-ones was performed via a Lewis acid catalyzed imino-Diels–Alder reaction between the enantiopure (R)-N-phenylethylbenzylideneimine and the trimethylsilyl enol ether of acetylcyclohexene. The regio- and stereoselective formation of intermediary bicyclic enoxysilanes, followed by their stereoselective protonation was evidenced. The initial stereoselectivity was kept only if the reaction mixture was treated using controlled basic conditions. Three enantiopure title compounds were isolated with a 5–15% yield. 相似文献

Adduct of magnesium tetraphenylporphyrin(MgTPP) with aniline for colorimetric detection of SO2 was investigated in CH2C12 by steady-state fluorescence and UV-vis absorption spectroscopic techniques.The UV-vis spectra showed that the increasing aniline concentrations resulted in red shift of 3 nm for MgTPP Soret absorption band.Once introduced,SO2 competes with MgTPP for aniline,which eventually leads to the release of MgTPP and changes in the solution color/absorption.The fluorescence spectra suggested that MgTPP interacted with aniline to form 1:1 molecular adducts,and showed that the binding of MgTPP with aniline with the binding constants of 1.58-1.64 is not only endothermal but entropy-driven withΔH = 1.622 kJ mol-1, AS = 9.389 J mor-1 K-1,and AG = -1.585 kJ mol-1 at T= 298.15 K. 相似文献

Hierarchically porous carbons were prepared using a facile preparation method in which diatomite was utilized as both template and catalyst. The porous structures of the carbon products and their formation mechanisms were investigated. The macroporosity and microporosity of the diatomite-templated carbons were derived from replication of diatom shell and structure-reconfiguration of the carbon film, respectively. The macroporosity of carbons was strongly dependent on the original morphology of the diatomite template. The macroporous structure composed of carbon plates connected by the pillar- and tube-like macropores resulted from the replication of the central and edge pores of the diatom shells with disk-shaped morphology, respectively. And another macroporous carbon tubes were also replicated from canoe-shaped diatom shells. The acidity of diatomite dramatically affected the porosity of the carbons, more acid sites of diatomite template resulted in higher surface area and pore volume of the carbon products. The diatomite-templated carbons exhibited higher adsorption capacity for methylene blue than the commercial activated carbon (CAC), although the specific surface area was much smaller than that of CAC, due to the hierarchical porosity of diatomite-templated carbons.
