Topotactic Conversion of Alkali-Treated Intergrown Germanosilicate CIT-13 into Single-Crystalline ECNU-21 Zeolite as Shape-Selective Catalyst for Ethylene Oxide Hydration

The conversion of the alkali-treated intergrowth germanosilicate CIT-13 into the single-crystalline high-silica ECNU-21 (named after East China Normal University) zeolite, with a novel topology and a highly crystalline zeolite framework, has been realized through a creative top-down strategy involving a mild alkaline-induced multistep process consisting of structural degradation and reconstruction. Instead of acid treatment, hydrolysis in aqueous ammonia solution not only readily cleaved the chemically weak Ge(Si)−O−Ge bonds located within the interlayer double four ring (D4R) units of CIT-13, but also cleaved the metastable Si−O−Si bonds therein. This led to extensive removal of the D4R units, and also generated silanol groups on adjacent silica-rich layers, which then condensed to form a novel daughter structure upon calcination. Individual oxygen bridges in the reassembled ECNU-21 replaced the germanium-rich D4R units in CIT-13, thereby eliminating the original intergrowth phenomenon along the b axis. With an ordered crystalline structure of 10-ring (R) channels as well as suitable germanium-related Lewis acid sites, ECNU-21 serves as a stable solid Lewis acid catalyst for the shape-selective hydration of ethylene oxide (EO) to ethylene glycol (EG) at greatly reduced H₂O/EO ratios and reaction temperature in comparison with the noncatalytic industrial process.     

Enantioselective Synthesis of Isoxazolines Enabled by Palladium-Catalyzed Carboetherification of Alkenyl Oximes

Reported here is a highly efficient Pd/Xiang-Phos catalyzed enantioselective carboetherification of alkenyl oximes with either aryl or alkenyl halides, delivering various chiral 3,5-disubstituted and 3,5,5-trisubstituted isoxazolines in good yields with up to 97 % ee. The sterically bulky and electron-rich (S,Rs)- NMe-X2 ligand is responsible for the excellent reactivities and enantioselectivities. The salient features of this transformation include mild reaction conditions, general substrate scope, good functional-group tolerance, good yields, high enantioselectivities, easy scale-up, and application in the late-stage modification of bioactive compounds. The obtained products can be readily transformed into useful chiral 1,3-aminoalcohols.     

Gorenstein projective bimodules via monomorphism categories and filtration categories

We generalize the monomorphism category from quiver (with monomial relations) to arbitrary finite dimensional algebras by a homological definition. Given two finite dimension algebras A and B, we use the special monomorphism category $\mathsf{Mon}(B,A\text{-}\mathsf{Gproj})$ to describe some Gorenstein projective bimodules over the tensor product of A and B. If one of the two algebras is Gorenstein, we give a sufficient and necessary condition for $\mathsf{Mon}(B,A\text{-}\mathsf{Gproj})$ being the category of all Gorenstein projective bimodules. In addition, if both A and B are Gorenstein, we can describe the category of all Gorenstein projective bimodules via filtration categories. Similarly, in this case, we get the same result for infinitely generated Gorenstein projective bimodules.     

Concentration on curves for a nonlinear Schrödinger problem with electromagnetic potential

We prove the existence of solutions to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation ${\epsilon }^2{(i\mathrm{?}+\mathit{A})}^{2}u+V(y)u?|u{|}^{p?1}u=0$ in ${\mathbb{R}}^2$ with a magnetic potential $\mathit{A}=(A_1,A_2)$. Here V represents the electric potential, the index p is greater than 1. Along some sequence $\{{\epsilon }_n\}$ tending to zero we exhibit complex-value solutions that concentrate along some closed curves.     

Hyperbolic metric and normal family

In this paper, we study the normality of the family of meromorphic functions from the viewpoint of hyperbolic metric. Then, a new sufficient and necessary condition is obtained, which can determine a given family of meromorphic functions is normal or not.     

Activation of DMSO for Swern-type oxidation by 1,1-dichlorocycloheptatriene

A new dimethylsulfoxide activation method employing 1,1-dichlorocycloheptatriene has been developed for a mild Swern-type oxidation of a variety of alcohols. The carbonyl products can be obtained in good to excellent yields from this operationally simple and efficient method. This work is the first report of dimethylsulfoxide activation by a simple chlorinated hydrocarbon reagent, which has the unique ability of equilibrating to its reactive aromatic cationic form.

一种新的磁共振图像处理流水线的设计与实现

磁共振图像的重建、后处理及可视化是磁共振成像（MRI）系统的重要组成部分.本文开发了一个新的用于磁共振图像重建、后处理及可视化的开源框架YAP（Yet Another Pipeline），利用此框架可以方便地构建图像处理流水线.与现有的一些其他开源框架相比，本文开发的框架具有如下特点：（1）采用基于接口的设计，可使用基于接口的插件对流水线的功能进行扩展；（2）允许用户使用编写脚本的方式构建图像处理流水线，编辑与修改流水线都很方便；（3）支持带有分支结构的流水线，便于流水线的构建与调试.目前，该框架已经在商用系统中获得了应用.
