Class IV Flextensional Transducers (FTs), which are the most popular among the various FTs used for underwater sound projection, are inherently omni-directional and therefore their possible application areas are limited. In this work, we investigate the possibility of getting directional performance from a 3 kHz Class IV FT, using a reflector. Finite element modeling (FEM), with the help of a commercially available package ATILA, has been made use of. Results indicate that a parabolic reflector with a air–water interface as the reflecting surface, would give an excellent directivity of 60° (3 dB) with a front-to-back ratio better than 30 dB. Experimental results, making use of a sound-reflecting coating as the reflector has shown a directivity of 82°, with a front-to-back ratio of 21 dB. It is also observed that the reflector causes the FTs to vibrate in asymmetrical modes, the long-term implications of which needs to be studied to ensure the reliability of the device. 相似文献

各种环境毒物危害着人类的生产生活,二噁英更是严重危害人类的健康.C12H4Cl4O2(2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin,TCDD)是二噁英中毒性最强的化合物,也是目前已知毒性最强的污染物.为研究TCDD外场效应,采用密度泛函理论方法优化了不同静电场0–0.025 a.u.(0–1.2856×1010 V/m)作用下TCDD分子的基态几何结构,得到了分子总能量;在此基础上,采用含时密度泛函理论方法对TCDD分子的紫外-可见(UV-Vis)吸收光谱在不同外电场下的变化进行了研究.结果表明:分子几何构型与电场大小呈现强烈的依赖关系,分子总能量随着外电场的增强而减小;伴随着外电场的增强,分子激发态的摩尔吸收系数逐渐减小,UV-Vis吸收峰显著红移. 相似文献

The photocurrent of surface states of topological insulator due to photon-drag effect is computed, being based on pure Dirac model of surface states. The scattering by disorder is taken into account to provide a relaxation mechanism for the photocurrent. The Keldysh–Schwinger formalism has been employed for the systematic calculation of photocurrent. The helicity dependent photocurrent of sizable magnitude transverse to the in-plane photon momentum is found, which is consistent with experimental data. Off-axial contribution of beam self-focusing in plasma with density ripple is investigated. Apply paraxial ray theory and Wentzel–Krammers–Brillouin approximation, the results shown that, in interaction of laser and plasma with density ripple, beam self-focusing presents some interesting diverse features when off-axial contribution is obvious. In the paper, we find, on the one hand, density ripple can minimize the defocusing and beam still retains a localized profile with an oscillatory self-focusing and defocusing, on the other hand, with the increase of off-axial contribution, laser beams presents four various self-focusing features, which laser beam intensity profile splits into three-splitted with central axial convex profile, three-splitted with equal amplitude profile, three-splitted with central axial concave profile and two-splitted intensity profile. 相似文献

Multi-symplectic variational integrators for nonlinear Schrdinger equations with variable coefficients 下载免费PDF全文
In this paper, we propose a variational integrator for nonlinear Schrdinger equations with variable coefficients. It is shown that our variational integrator is naturally multi-symplectic. The discrete multi-symplectic structure of the integrator is presented by a multi-symplectic form formula that can be derived from the discrete Lagrangian boundary function. As two examples of nonlinear Schrdinger equations with variable coefficients, cubic nonlinear Schrdinger equations and Gross–Pitaevskii equations are extensively studied by the proposed integrator. Our numerical simulations demonstrate that the integrator is capable of preserving the mass, momentum, and energy conservation during time evolutions. Convergence tests are presented to verify that our integrator has second-order accuracy both in time and space. 相似文献

The exciton properties of thin nanotube structures are investigated theoretically. Anisotropic size dependencies have been found in the exciton binding energy, the kinetic energy for the relative motions of an electron and a hole, and the wavefunction. These anisotropies arise from the different boundary conditions in the tube-length and circumferential directions, namely, the topological features of nanotubes. We also found that it is possible to change the topology of exciton wavefunctions by varying the tube-length and the tube-radius. These findings suggest that the optical properties of nanotubes such as oscillator strength or nonlinear susceptibilities can be controlled by tuning the structural parameters, thus yielding a novel guiding principle for designing optical functional materials. 相似文献

Although the multi-level structure of superconducting qubits may result in calculation errors, it can be rationally used to effectively improve the speed of gate operations. Utilizing a current-biased Josephson junction (A-type rf-SQUID) as a tunable coupler for superconducting transmission line resonators (TLRs), under the large detuning condition, we demonstrate the controllable generation of entangled coherent states in circuit quantum electrodynamics (circuit QED). The coupling between the TLRs and the qubit can be effectively regulated by an external bias current or coupling capacitor. Further investigations indicate that the maximum entangled state can be obtained through measuring the excited state of the superconducting qubits. In this paper, we investigate the problem of synchronization for the time varying delayed complex dynamical networks via impulsive control method, several sufficient synchronization conditions are given, and we consider the impulsive control matrices are time varying delayed matrices. Furthermore, we found impulsive control does not always play an active role in synchronization although impulsive control strategy is cheaper and simpler than other control strategy. A protocol of quantum secret sharing between multiparty and multiparty with four states was presented. It was shown that this
protocol can nullify the Trojan horse attack with a multi-photon signal, the fake-signal attack with Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen
