On the solution of Dirichlet problem of complex Monge-Ampère equation on Cartan-Hartogs domain of the second type

Complex Monge-Ampère equation is a nonlinear equation with high degree, so its solution is very difficult to get. How to get the plurisubharmonic solution of Dirichlet problem of complex Monge-Ampère equation on the Cartan-Hartogs domain of the second type is discussed by using the analytic method in this paper. Firstly, the complex Monge-Ampère equation is reduced to a nonlinear second-order ordinary differential equation (ODE) by using quite different method. Secondly, the solution of the Dirichlet problem is given in semi-explicit formula, and under a special case the exact solution is obtained. These results may be helpful for the numerical method of Dirichlet problem of complex Monge-Ampère equation on the Cartan-Hartogs domain.     

Collapsed 5-manifolds with pinched positive sectional curvature

Let M be a closed 5-manifold of pinched curvature 0<δ?secM?1. We prove that M is homeomorphic to a spherical space form if one of the following conditions holds:

(i)

The center of the fundamental group has index ?w(δ), a constant depending on δ;

(ii)

and the fundamental group is a non-cyclic group of order ?C, a constant;

(iii)

The volume is less than ?(δ) and the fundamental group is either isomorphic to a spherical 5-space group or has an odd order, and it has a center of index ?w, a constant.

The Global Existence of Solutions for a Cross-diffusion System

This paper is concerned with the global existence of solutions for a class of quasilinear cross-diffusion system describing two species competition under self and cross population pressure. By establishing and using more detailed interpolation results between several different Banach spaces, the global existence of solutions are proved when the self and cross diffusion rates for the first species are positive and there is no self or cross-diffusion for the second species.     

Nodal Solutions of a p-Laplacian Equation

We prove that the p-Laplacian problem –_p u = f(x, u),with u on a bounded domain R^N, with p > 1 arbitrary, has a nodal solution providedthat f : x R R is subcritical, and f(x, t) / |t|^p –² is superlinear. A proof of Selberg's orthogonality for automorphic L-functions

Let π and π′ be automorphic irreducible cuspidal representations of GL_m(Q_A) and GL_m′(Q_A), respectively. Assume that π and π′ are unitary and at least one of them is self-contragredient. In this article we will give an unconditional proof of an orthogonality for π and π′, weighted by the von Mangoldt function Λ(n) and 1−n/x. We then remove the weighting factor 1−n/x and prove the Selberg orthogonality conjecture for automorphic L-functions L(s,π) and L(s,π′), unconditionally for m≤4 and m′≤4, and under the Hypothesis H of Rudnick and Sarnak [20] in other cases. This proof of Selberg's orthogonality removes such an assumption in the computation of superposition distribution of normalized nontrivial zeros of distinct automorphic L-functions by Liu and Ye [12].     

Remarks on the Regularity to 3-D Ideal Magnetohydrodynamic Equations

In this paper we are interested in the sufficient conditions which guarantee the regularityof solutions of 3-D ideal magnetohydrodynamic equations in the arbitrary time interval [0,T].Fivesufficient conditions are given.Our results are motivated by two main ideas:one is to control theaccumulation of vorticity alone;the other is to generalize the corresponding geometric conditions of3-D Euler equations to 3-D ideal magnetohydrodynamic equations.     

Almost Sure Central Limit Theorems for Heavily Trimmed Sums

We obtain an almost sure central limit theorem (ASCLT) for heavily trimmed sums. We also prove a function-typed ASCLT under the same conditions that assure measurable functions to satisfy the ASCLT for the partial sums of i.i.d, random variables with E X1 = 0, EX1^2 = 1.     

非定常的热传导-对流问题的非线性Galerkin混合元法(Ⅲ):时间二阶精度的全离散格式

In this paper, a fully discrete format of nonlinear Galerkin mixed element method with two-step discretization of time for the non stationary conduction-convection problems is presented. The existence and the convergence of the fully discrete mixed element solution are shown. On the basis of [9] and [10], we have proved that the schemes have second-order convergence accuracy for the time discretization.
