In this paper, we present a novel blind signal detector based on the entropy of the power spectrum subband energy ratio (PSER), the detection performance of which is significantly better than that of the classical energy detector. This detector is a full power spectrum detection method, and does not require the noise variance or prior information about the signal to be detected. According to the analysis of the statistical characteristics of the power spectrum subband energy ratio, this paper proposes concepts such as interval probability, interval entropy, sample entropy, joint interval entropy, PSER entropy, and sample entropy variance. Based on the multinomial distribution, in this paper the formulas for calculating the PSER entropy and the variance of sample entropy in the case of pure noise are derived. Based on the mixture multinomial distribution, the formulas for calculating the PSER entropy and the variance of sample entropy in the case of the signals mixed with noise are also derived. Under the constant false alarm strategy, the detector based on the entropy of the power spectrum subband energy ratio is derived. The experimental results for the primary signal detection are consistent with the theoretical calculation results, which proves that the detection method is correct. 相似文献

Three‐coupled discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equations, which describe the dynamics of the three hydrogen bonding spines in the alpha helical proteins with the interspine coupling at the discrete level, are investigated. Binary Bell polynomials are applied to construct the bilinear forms and bilinear Bäcklund transformation of those equations. Propagation characteristics and interactions of the bound‐state solitons are discussed. Bound states of two and three bright solitons arise when all of them propagate in parallel. Elastic interaction between the bound‐state solitons and one bright soliton is given. Increase of the dipole‐dipole interaction energy can lead to the increase of the soliton velocity, that is, the one‐interaction period becomes shorter. 相似文献

In order to increase the number of channels that could be multiplexed or demultiplexed in the dense wavelength division multiplexed (DWDM) system based on the resonators on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology, the Vernier effect in the series-coupled racetrack resonators is presented to extend the free spectral range (FSR) of the DWDM systems. A method is developed based on a matrix approach to simulate Vernier devices. A three-dimensional full vectorial finite difference (FVFD) model, specifically suited for high index contrast and smaller size waveguides, for example, a waveguide in SOI technology, is developed to obtain the properties of a waveguide. Finally, the Vernier effect in the two series-coupled racetrack resonators is experimentally verified with an improved FSR and interstitial resonance suppression. 相似文献
