Zero-field magnetic viscosity measurements at temperatures between 2 and 30 K were made on a sample of chemically disordered FePt nanoparticles prepared by solution phase chemical synthesis. The data have been used to calculate the apparent magnetic-moment-weighted energy barrier distribution for the FePt. This distribution is composed of a log–normal distribution plus a second distribution that is well described by an exponential decay of barrier frequency with increasing barrier height. The two distributions contribute approximately equally to the overall distribution. 相似文献

Experimental measurement of hypersonic boundary layer stability and transition on a sharp cone with a half angle of 5° is carried out at free-coming stream Mach number 6 in a hypersonic wind tunnel. Mean andfluctuation surface-thermal-flux characteristics of the hypersonic boundary layer flow are measured by Pt-thin-film thermocouple temperature sensors installed at 28 stations on the cone surface along longitudinal direction. At hypersonic speeds, the dominant flow instabilities demonstrate that the growth rate of the second mode tends to exceed that of the low-frequency mode. Wavelet-based cross-spectrum technique is introduced to obtain the multi-scale cross-spectral characteristics of the fluctuating signals in thefrequency range of the second mode. Nonlinear interactions both of the second mode disturbance and the first mode disturbance are demonstrated to be dominant instabilities in the initial stage of laminar-turbulence transition for hypersonic shear flow. 相似文献

利用大功率脉冲TEA-CO2激光器作为光源,对不同元素、浓度以及颗粒直径金属掺入PVC的靶材进行了测试。结果发现,不同元素种类以及不同颗粒直径的金属掺杂后的PVC靶材的冲量耦合系数变化不大,但在不同功率密度处,比冲均有显著提高,其中纳米Fe粉性能最为优异。在功率密度为5×106 W/cm2处,50%纳米Fe粉质量分数的靶材的比冲出现最大值。在大气环境下,对于掺有20%纳米Zn粉质量分数的PVC靶材,其冲量耦合系数随激光功率密度的提高而先升后降,比冲并不优异于比其熔点更高的Fe粉和Ni粉掺杂。 相似文献

Self-shaping materials such as shape memory polymers have recently drawn considerable attention owing to their high shape-changing ability in response to changes in ambient conditions, and thereby have promising applications in the biomedical, biosensing, soft robotics and aerospace fields. Their design is a crucial issue of both theoretical and technological interest. Motivated by the shape-changing ability of Towel Gourd tendril helices during swelling/deswelling, we present a strategy for realizing self-shaping function through the deformation of micro/nanohelices. To guide the design and fabrication of selfshaping materials, the shape equations of bent configurations, twisted belts, and helices of slender chiral composite are developed using the variation method. Furthermore, it is numerically shown that the shape changes of a chiral composite can be tuned by the deformation of micro/nanohelices and the fabricated fiber directions. Tomography phase microscopy (TPM) is a new microscopic method that can quantitatively yield the volumetric 3D distribution of a sample׳s refractive index (RI), which is significant for cell biology research. In this paper, a controllable TPM system is introduced. In this system a circulatory phase-shifting method and piezoelectric ceramic are used which enable the TPM system to record the 3D RI distribution at a more controllable speed, from 1 to 40 fps, than in the other TPM systems reported. The resolution of the RI distribution obtained by this controllable TPM is much better than that in images recorded by phase contrast microscopy and interference tomography microscopy. The realization of controllable TPM not only allows for the application of TPM to the measurement of kinds of RI sample, but also contributes to academic and technological support for the practical use of TPM. 相似文献

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is proposed as analytical method for the characterization of extracts from Chinese plants traditionally used both as medicines and as textile dyes. Spectroscopic results are supported by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis of the extracts. In particular the spectra of extracts obtained from Chinese mulberry (Cudrania tricuspidata), gromwell (Lithospermum erythrorhizon), Chinese rhubarb (Rheum palmatum), tangerine (Citrus reticulata) and Morinda plants are reported here for the first time. A correlation between the SER spectral pattern and the structure of the molecules responsible for color is proposed for each of the examined dyes. 相似文献

Cellulose aerogels are plagued by intermolecular hydrogen bond-induced structural plasticity, otherwise rely on chemicals modification to extend service life. Here, we demonstrate a petrochemical-free strategy to fabricate superelastic cellulose aerogels by designing hierarchical structures at multi scales. Oriented channels consolidate the whole architecture. Porous walls of dehydrated cellulose derived from thermal etching not only exhibit decreased rigidity and stickiness, but also guide the microscopic deformation and mitigate localized large strain, preventing structural collapse. The aerogels show exceptional stability, including temperature-invariant elasticity, fatigue resistance (∼5 % plastic deformation after 105 cycles), high angular recovery speed (1475.4° s−1), outperforming most cellulose-based aerogels. This benign strategy retains the biosafety of biomass and provides an alternative filter material for health-related applications, such as face masks and air purification. 相似文献

The temporal stability on inviscid compressible swirling flow between two concentric cylinders is investigated. First, a linearized differential equation is derived. Two stability criteria are derived for compressible swirling flow by an analytic method analogous to Ludwieg ’s method. A finite-difference numerical method is then used to solve the eigenvalue problem of this differential equation, to get temporal growth rate and to check these stabilitv criteria derived.
