In sampled data systems the controller receives periodically sampled state feedback about the evolution of a continuous time plant, and must choose a constant control signal to apply between these updates; however, unlike purely discrete time models the evolution of the plant between updates is important. In this paper we describe an abstract algorithm for approximating the discriminating kernel (also known as the maximal robust control invariant set) for a sampled data system with continuous state space, and then use this operator to construct a switched, set-valued feedback control policy which ensures safety. We show that the approximation is conservative for sampled data systems. We then demonstrate that the key operations–the tensor products of two sets, invariance kernels, and a pair of projections–can be implemented in two formulations: one based on the Hamilton–Jacobi partial differential equation which can handle nonlinear dynamics but which scales poorly with state space dimension, and one based on ellipsoids which scales well with state space dimension but which is restricted to linear dynamics. Each version of the algorithm is demonstrated numerically on a simple example.  相似文献

In this paper, a thin-film metamaterial absorber with multiple-band is experimental verified and calculated analysis. Two absorption peaks higher than 99% and 98% are obtained at normal incidence. The resonance of the local surface plasma (LSP) mode and the internal surface plasmon (ISP) mode lead to the two high absorption peaks. The impedance matched condition is obtained behind two high absorption peaks. Measured results indicate that high absorption performed can be observed with different dielectric layer combinations (Al2O3–ZnSe, Al2O3–Al2O3, and ZnSe–ZnSe), which indicates that the designed metamaterial absorber is insensitive to the dielectric layer combination. High absorption performed is obtained under both TE and TM configurations at various incident angles.  相似文献

It is shown that a transformation of time can allow the periodic solution of a strongly nonlinear oscillator to be written as a simple cosine function. Nonlinear static and dynamic behaviour of a simply supported fluid-conveying tube, which has a constant inner diameter and a variable thickness is analysed analytically and numerically. Nonlinear static bending is considered in two loading cases: (i) a tube subjected to supercritical axial compressive forces acting at its edges or (ii) a tube loaded by concentrated bending moments, which provide a symmetrical (with respect to the mid-span) shape of a tube. The nonlinear governing equations of motions are derived by using Hamilton's principle. The elementary plug flow theory of an incompressible inviscid fluid is adopted for modelling a fluid–structure interaction. The flow velocity is taken as the sum of a principal constant ‘mean’ velocity component and a fairly small pulsating component. Firstly, eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes of a deformed tube are found from linearised equations of motions. Then resonant nonlinear oscillations of a tube about its deformed static equilibrium position in a plane of static bending are considered. A multiple scales method is used and a weak resonant excitation by the flow pulsation is considered in a single-mode regime and in a bi-modal regime (in the case of an internal parametric resonance) and the stability of each of them is examined. The brief parametric study of these regimes of motions is carried out.  相似文献

With the development of computational power, large eddy simulation (LES) method is increasingly used in simulating complex flow. However, there still exist many factors affecting the LES quality and appropriate mesh resolution is among one of them. This work aims to develop an automatic procedure to refine the LES mesh by combining adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) and LES quality criteria. An LES refinement criterion is developed by estimating the proper grid length scale which meets the accuracy requirement of LES method. With this criterion, the baseline mesh is automatically refined with the AMR method. In this work, an efficient one-shot refinement strategy is also proposed to reduce the overall simulation time. Current AMR-based LES method is verified with the typical LES test case about the flow past circular cylinder at Re D = 3900. Results show that the automatically refined mesh provides systematically better agreement with experimental results and with current method the balance between accuracy and computational expense for LES can be obtained.  相似文献

A nonlinear dynamical model for paper machine roll grinding process is investigated through a group of delay differential equations with one constant time-delay. In this model, the time-delay effect is originated from shape error traces on the surface of the roll. The contact interaction of the roll and the grindstone is based on the wear theory, and the lateral deformations of the roll as a simply supported continuous beam element inside a rotational coordinate frame and the rotational rigid body vibration system are considered. The PD-controllers of the roll and the grindstone drives are also included. The numerical simulations for time-history responses provide a view of the stability of this grinding process for the design, analysis and verification of industrial roll grinding measurements in future.  相似文献

A theoretical model describing the propagation of gravity waves on ice-covered waters is developed. The ice–water system is approximated as a two-layer viscous and immiscible Newtonian fluid.
