Multiferroic properties of short period perovskite type manganite superlattice ((R1MnO3)n/(R2MnO3)n (n=1,2,3)) are considered within the framework of classical Heisenberg model using Monte Carlo simulation. Our result revealed the interesting behaviors in Mn spins structure in superlattice. Apart from simple plane spin cycloid structure which is shown in all manganites including bulk, film, and superlattice here in low temperature, a non-coplanar spiral spin structure is exhibited in a certain temperature range when n equals 1, 2 or 3. Specific heat, spin-helicity vector, spin correlation function, spin-helicity correlation function, and spin configuration are calculated to confirm this non-coplanar spiral spin structure. These results are associated with the competition among exchange interaction, magnetic anisotropy, and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction.  相似文献

With the consideration of three-body interaction, dynamics of pairwise entanglement in spin chains is studied. The dependence of pairwise entanglement dynamics on the type of coupling, and distance between the spins is analyzed in a finite chain for different initial states. It is found that, for an Ising chain, three-body interactions are not in favor of preparing entanglement between the nearest neighbor spins, while three-body interactions are favorable for creating entanglement between remote spins from a separable initial state. For an isotropic Heisenberg chain, the pairwise concurrence will decrease when three-body interactions are considered both for a separable initial state and for a maximally entangled initial state, however, three-body interactions will retard the decay of the concurrence in an Ising chain when the initial state takes the maximally entangled state.  相似文献

Using the Jordan-Wigner transformation and cut-off approximation, the Letter studies the one-dimensional spin-1/2 XXZ double chain with z-directional uniform long-range interactions in the external magnetic field. Thermodynamic properties as the Helmholtz free energy, internal energy, specific heat and magnetization of the system are obtained. The first and second-order phase transition of the system at a finite temperature are also given. Our results agree with those of the other literatures.  相似文献

The entanglement resonance in anisotropic spin-1/2 Heisenberg chains of different couplings is investigated when the nearest neighbor coupling is periodically modulated with external magnetic field. When the modulation frequency equals twice of the magnetic field, the entanglement resonance is larger than that at other modulation frequencies and decreases as the number of spins in the chain increases. When the modulation frequency equals the
magnetic field, the entanglement resonance can be reduced to a quite low value by varying the coupling along z axis.  相似文献

By using the mean-field Jordan-Wigner transformation analysis, this paper studies the one-dimensional spin-1/2 XYZ antiferromagnetic chain in the transverse field with uniform long-range interactions among the z-components of the spins. The thermodynamic quantities, such as Helmholtz free energy, the internal energy, the specific heat, and the isothermal susceptibility, are obtained. The Hardy space Hpis not locally convex if 0 < p < 1, even though its conjugate space(Hp) separates the points of Hp. But then it is locally p-convex, and its conjugate cone(Hp) p is large enough to separate the points of Hp. In this case, the conjugate cone can be used to replace its conjugate space to set up the duality theory in the p-convex analysis. A much larger amount of bonded hydrogen was found in thick nanocrystalline diamond(NCD) films produced by only adding 0.24% N2 into 4% CH4 /H2 plasma,as compared to the high quality transparent microcrystalline diamond(MCD) films,grown using the same growth parameters except for nitrogen.These experimental results clearly evidence that defect formation and impurity incorporation(for example,N and H) impeding diamond grain growth is the main formation mechanism of NCD upon nitrogen doping and strongly support the model proposed in the literature that nitrogen competes with CH x(x=1,2,3) growth species for adsorption sites.  相似文献
