An improved algorithm for computing topological entropy

A new algorithm is presented for computing the topological entropy of a unimodal map of the interval. The accuracy of the algorithm is discussed and some graphs of the topological entropy which are obtained using the algorithm are displayed.

本文用粘弹谱仪、x射线衍射、DSC研究了PET—云母复合物的Tg区域的多重转变等松驰转变行为,探讨了加工、云母填充对PET—云母材料性能影响的分子运动机理。不同热历史(如不同成型条件、热处理等)使聚合物分子形成不同链段运动;处于高温位的Tg(u)其运动单元是受结晶、内应力、填料作用影响的非晶区链段。     

乌鲁木齐市商业中心的等级体系及合理布局的探讨

本文利用85年5—6月间对乌鲁木齐市主要商业区及部分中、小商业区的实地调查资料,对乌市商业中心等级系统进行了定性和定量的分级分类,将全市商业中心划分为五个等级,八组商业中心,对已形成的商业中心分布现状进行了初步探讨,并对今后商业网点的合理布局提出了建议。     

Multisplitting Iteration Schemes for Solving a Class of Nonlinear Complementarity Problems

We consider several synchronous and asynchronous multisplitting iteration schemes for solving aclass of nonlinear complementarity problems with the system matrix being an H-matrix.We establish theconvergence theorems for the schemes.The numerical experiments show that the schemes are efficient forsolving the class of nonlinear complementarity problems.     

Dimensional variation in production of high-aspect-ratio micro-pillars array by micro powder injection molding

Micro powder injection molding (μPIM) is one of the potential processes for the mass production of metallic microstructures and micro components. Here, μPIM is the miniaturization of conventional PIM, which involves four processing steps: mixing, injection molding, debinding and sintering. This paper looks into the feasibility and effectiveness of μPIM as a key mass production process for the fabrication of metallic micro components. For it to be an effective re-production process, it is imperative to examine how well parts can be duplicated/fabricated from a master mold. In this work, the dimensional variation of high-aspect-ratio micro-pillars arrays, in particular the dimensional shrinkage, global warpage, and surface roughness at each stage of the μPIM process for a range of molding pressures, are quantified and compared in detail. The sensitivity of the dimensional variation of the microstructures to the packing pressure is reported. The mechanism behind the dimensional variation is analyzed. Interface solution for writing-induced nano-deformation of slider body

Writing-induced nano-deformation of slider body becomes a big concern when the mechanical spacing between the head and disk is continuously reduced to achieve higher magnetic recording areal density. Reduced head–disk spacing increases the risk of head/disk contact and causes the thermal instability in head–disk interface (HDI). This paper reports authors’ efforts towards exploration of interface solutions for writing-induced instability in ultra-low head–disk spacing magnetic system. Multi-shallow step structure with optimized rail position is analyzed and a new femto slider with such structure is explored. The results of numerical simulation indicate that the multi-shallow step structure is an effective approach in reducing the flying height change caused by the writing-induced nano-deformation of the slider body.     

Frozen Landweber Iteration for Nonlinear Ill-Posed Problems

In this paper we propose a modification of the Landweber iteration termed frozen Landweberiteration for nonlinear ill-posed problems.A convergence analysis for this iteration is presented.The numericalperformance of this frozen Landweber iteration for a nonlinear Hammerstein integral equation is compared withthat of the Landweber iteration.We obtain a shorter running time of the frozen Landweber iteration based onthe same convergence accuracy.     

A side-coupled photonic crystal filter with sidelobe suppression

This paper presents the theoretical model and the optimization method to suppress the sidelobes of side-coupled photonic crystal filters. Numerical verification shows a good agreement between the theoretical method and the finite-difference time-domain simulation, but the theoretic method does not involve the time-consuming computation. The theoretical method also presents a better physical image for choosing the critical parameters, such as the quality factor, phase shift and the number of resonators. Based on the theoretical model, two optimization methods (chirp and cascading) are proposed to deeply suppress the sidelobes. They also show more flexibility in controlling the bandwidth and steepness of the roll-off in the filter. PACS 42.70.Qs     

Some explicit examples of Hamiltonian minimal Lagrangian submanifolds in complex space forms

In this paper, we find some new explicit examples of Hamiltonian minimal Lagrangian submanifolds among the Lagrangian isometric immersions of a real space form in a complex space form.
