A host supramolecular structure consisting of bis-(2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine)-4'-oxyhexadecane (BT-O-C16) is shown to respond to guest molecules in dramatic ways, as observed by using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) on a highly oriented pyrolytic graphite surface under ambient conditions. It is observed that small linear molecules can be encapsulated within the host supramolecular lattice. The characteristics of the host structure were nearly unaffected by the encapsulated guest molecules of terphthalic acid (TPA) dimers, whereas appreciable changes in cavity dimension can be observed with azobenzene-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid. The STM study and density functional theory (DFT) analysis reveal that intermolecular hydrogen bonding interaction plays an essential role in forming the assembling structures. The difference in guest molecule length is considered the important cause for the different guest-host complexes.  相似文献

Using benzene sandwiched between two Au leads as a model system, we investigate from first principles the change in molecular conductance caused by different atomic structures around the metal-molecule contact. Our motivation is the variable situations that may arise in break junction experiments; our approach is a combined density functional theory and Green function technique. We focus on effects caused by (1) the presence of an additional Au atom at the contact and (2) possible changes in the molecule-lead separation. The effects of contact atomic relaxation and two different lead orientations are fully considered. We find that the presence of an additional Au atom at each of the two contacts will increase the equilibrium conductance by up to two orders of magnitude regardless of either the lead orientation or different group-VI anchoring atoms. This is due to a resonance peak near the Fermi energy from the lowest energy unoccupied molecular orbital. In the nonequilibrium properties, the resonance peak manifests itself in a negative differential conductance. We find that the dependence of the equilibrium conductance on the molecule-lead separation can be quite subtle: either very weak or very strong depending on the separation regime.  相似文献

CO2和烃类光催化直接合成烃类氧化物在合成化学、碳资源利用和环境保护等方面均有重大意义。用溶胶-凝胶和浸渍-还原相结合的方法制得M/V2O5-TiO2(M=Pd、Cu、Ni和Ag)光催化剂。利用XRD、TPR、IR、TPD、UV-Vis DRS和光反应器等技术研究了负载金属复合半导体的物相结构、吸附性能、光吸收性能和光催化反应性能。结果表明:金属负载在复合半导体上延迟了TiO2由锐钛矿向金红石相的转化,增强了V与载体TiO2的相互作用,使TiO2光吸收限发生蓝移,对可见光部分的吸收明显增加,拓宽了催化剂的光响应范围;材料吸光性能强弱顺序Pd/V2O5-TiO2 >Cu/V2O5-TiO2 >Ag/V2O5-TiO2>Ni/V2O5-TiO2;材料的吸附性能及反应物的吸附态是反应发生的关键,CO2在Ag/V2O5-TiO2表面无法形成卧式吸附态,没有目的产物甲基丙烯酸(MAA)生成,光量子效率低;光吸收性能较好的Pd/V2O5-TiO2对CO2吸附能力过强,卧式吸附态脱附温度高,光催化效率不高;Cu/V2O5-TiO2对CO2吸附能力适中,CO2与C3H6脱附温度较接近,实现了“光-表面-热”的协同作用,光量子效率最高,达15.1%。  相似文献

Treatment of 4-nitrophenyl chloroformate with alkylammonium hydrochloride salts and solid anhydrous Na2CO3 in either CH2Cl2 or CH3CN gave 4-nitrophenyl N-methylcarbamate and other N-alkylcarbamate analogues in excellent yields. Of particular interest is the observation that 4-nitrophenyl N-methylcarbamate, a safer alternative to the highly toxic methyl isocyanate, is obtained in quantitative yield (?95% pure as determined by 1H NMR) after simple filtration and solvent evaporation.  相似文献

A novel approach was developed for the determination of ultratrace amounts of copper in water samples by using electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) after cloud point extraction (CPE). 1-( 2-Pyridylazo)-2-naphthol was used as the chelating reagent and Triton X-114 as the micellar-forming surfactant. CPE was conducted in a pH 8.0 medium at 40 ℃ for 10 min. After the separation of the phases by centrifugation, the surfactant-rich phase was diluted with 1 mL of a methanol solution of 0. 1 mol/L HNO3. Then 20 μL of the diluted surfactant-rich phase was injected into the graphite furnace for atomization in the absence of any matrix modifier. Various experimental conditions that affect the extraction and atomization processes were optimized. A detection limit of 5 ng/L was obtained after preconcentration. The linear dynamic range of the copper mass concentration was found to be 0-2.0ng/mL, and the relative standard deviation was found to be less than 3.1% for a sample containing 1.0 ng/mL Cu(Ⅱ). This developed method was successfully applied to the determination of ultratrace amounts of Cu in drinking water, tap water, and seawater samples.  相似文献

A simple and effective method has been developed for the determination of the transuranium isotopes in primary coolant samples of WWER-440 type reactors. Membrane filters containing undissolved particles from about one liter coolant were destroyed by mineral acids, then americium-curium isotopes and neptunium-plutonium isotopes were coprecipitated sequentially with NdF3 based on their different redox behavior. Alpha-spectra were determined by silicon semiconductor detectors connected to multichannel analyzers. Activity ratios measured in a reactor unit with a failed fuel element were compared with calculated values of the same type of reactor under similar conditions. Parameters of the defective fuel (burnup, original enrichment) could be estimated.  相似文献
