All-optical wavelength conversion of 10-Gb/s signal based on four-wave mixing is experimentally demonstrated in a 30-m-long dispersion-flattened microstructure fiber with small positive dispersion. For an average pump power of 26 dBm, the conversion efficiency was around -19.5 dB with the fluctuation less than ±1.4 dB, covering a conversion bandwidth of 20 nm. Cr4+:YbAG (Cr4+:Yb3Al5O12) crystal with a size up to Φ24 mm×30 mm was grown by the Czochralski method. In the absorption spectrum, there are two absorption bands at 939 and 969 nm, respectively, which are suitable for InGaAs diode laser pumping, and there is an absorption band at 1030 nm, which is suitable for passive Q-switched laser output at 1.03 μm. A broad emission spectrum from 970 to 1100 nm was exhibited from 940 nm wavelength pumping. This crystal is promising as a self-Q-switched laser crystal used for compact, efficient, highly stable, passive self-Q-switched thin chip solid-state lasers. 相似文献

The transmission properties of elastic waves propagating in a three-dimensional composite structure embedded periodically
with spherical inclusions are analyzed by the transfer matrix method in this paper. Firstly, the periodic composite structures
are divided into many layers, the transfer matrix of monolayer structure is deduced by the wave equations, and the transfer
matrix of the entire structure is obtained in the case of boundary conditions of displacement and stress continuity between
layers. Then, the effective impedance of the structure is analyzed to calculate its reflectivity and transmissivity of vibration
isolation. Finally, numerical simulation is carried out; the experiment results validate the accuracy and feasibility of the
method adopted in the paper and some useful conclusions are obtained.

In this research, a simple, sensitive chemiluminescence (CL) method for the determination of humic acid (HA) in water samples was first developed based on the redox reaction between humic acid and cerium(IV) in the acidic condition. Different with the former redox CL reaction which occurred in alkaline solution, no enhancers were needed and neither precipitation nor a second contamination would occur in the present CL system. Comparing with other spectrometric methods, we find that the proposed analysis system had better applicability and accuracy. Under the optimal experiment conditions, the CL peak height was linear with the concentration of HA in the range of 0.03 to 10.0 microg mL(-1). The detection limit is 0.01 microg mL(-1) (S/N = 3), and the relative standard deviation was 2.3% for 0.5 microg mL(-1) HA solution with eleven repeated measurements. The present CL method was successfully applied to the determination of HA in tap water, spring water and river water samples with good recovery from 90.0 to 110.0%. A possible CL mechanism was proposed based on the results of UV and fluorescence spectrometry and the CL spectrum of HA. This work reports a new synthetic approach for single‐phase TiO2 nanomaterials by solvothermal treatment of titanium tetrachloride in acetone at 80–110 °C. Small, uniform, and yet size‐tunable (5–10 nm) anatase titania nanocrystallites were obtained using a low concentration of TiCl4 in acetone (i.e., at molar ratios of TiCl4/acetone ≤ 1:15) in the temperature range of 80–110 °C, while rutile nanofibers were synthesized using a high concentration of TiCl4 (e.g., TiCl4/acetone = 1:10) at 110 °C. Nanocrystalline FeS2 cathode material of lithium cell was synthesized from cheap materials of FeSO4, Na2S2O3, and sulfur by a hydrothermal process. The scanning electron microscopy analysis showed the obtained material was nano-sized,
about 500 nm. The X-ray powder diffraction analysis showed that the synthetic FeS2 material had two phases of the crystalline structure, pyrite and marcasite. The phase of marcasite seems to have no negative

This paper presents the theoretical model and the optimization method to suppress the sidelobes of side-coupled photonic crystal
filters. Numerical verification shows a good agreement between the theoretical method and the finite-difference time-domain
simulation, but the theoretic method does not involve the time-consuming computation. The theoretical method also presents
a better physical image for choosing the critical parameters, such as the quality factor, phase shift and the number of resonators.
Based on the theoretical model, two optimization methods (chirp and cascading) are proposed to deeply suppress the sidelobes.
They also show more flexibility in controlling the bandwidth and steepness of the roll-off in the filter.

Nanometer scale Al/AlN multilayers have been prepared by dc magnetron sputtering technique with a columnar target. A set of Al/AlN multilayers with the Al layer thickness of 2.9 nm and the AlN layer thickness variation from 1.13 to 6.81 nm were determined. Low angle X-ray diffraction (LAXRD) was used to analyze the layered structure of multilayers. The phase structure of the coatings was investigated with grazing angle XRD (GAXRD). Mechanical properties of these multilayers were thoroughly studied using a nanoindentation and ball-on-disk micro-tribometer. It was found that the multilayer hardness and reduced modulus showed no strong dependence on the AlN layer thickness. Al2.9 nm/AlN1.13 nm multilayer had more excellent tribological properties than single layers and other proportion multilayers with a lowest friction coefficient of 0.15. And the tribological properties of all the multilayers are superior to the AlN single layer. 相似文献
