Abstract

A six-coordinate picrate nickel(II) complex based on the V-shaped ligand 1,3-bis(1-benzylbenzimidazol-2-yl)-2-thiapropane (L), with the composition [Ni(L)2](pic)2, has been synthesized and characterized systematically. The crystal structure of the Ni(II) complex is a six-coordinated octahedron, which is considerably close to ideal octahedral geometry with N4S2 donors of the two ligands. Biological activities of compounds were investigated using electronic absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and viscosity measurements. The results suggested that both ligand L and Ni(II) complex bind to DNA in an intercalative binding mode, and DNA-binding affinity of the Ni(II) complex is stronger than that of ligand L.

Target compounds 3 were synthesized by the condensation of O,O-diethyl α-amino substitutedbenzyl phosphonates 1 and 4-methyl-[1,2,3]thiadiazole-5-carboxylic acid 2 in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) as a dehydration reagent. Their structures were confirmed by spectroscopic data (IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR, MS) and elemental analysis. The results of a preliminary bioassay (in vitro) indicated that some of the title compounds 3 possessed moderate to good herbicidal activities against dicotyledonous plants (Brassica campestris L) at the concentration of 100 mg/L, and most of these compounds exhibited higher herbicidal activities against dicotyledonous plants (Brassica campestris L) than monocotyledonous plants (Echinochloa crus-galli).

Abstract

A series of iron, cobalt and nickel metal phosphides of chemical formula FexP, Co2P and Ni2P with high specific surface areas of 331.1, 294.2 and 228.0 m2 g?1, respectively, was firstly synthesized by phenol-formaldehyde resin route. It was found that the as-prepared Co2P and Ni2P samples synthesized using phenol-formaldehyde resin as a carbon source showed much higher BET surface areas than those prepared using other carbon sources reported before, including cinnamic strong alkali anion exchange resin, p-phenylenediamine and hexamethylenetetramine. This phenol-formaldehyde resin route was proved to be as universal as traditional H2 reduction method.  相似文献

In this work, a novel nucleating agent (NA) based on substituted‐aryl phosphate salts was introduced into poly(L‐Lactide) (PLLA). The nonisothermal and isothermal crystallization behaviors of nucleated PLLA samples were investigated through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), wide angle X‐ray diffraction, and polarized optical microscope (POM). Furthermore, the effect of annealing treatment on the cold crystallization behaviors of nucleated samples was also investigated. The results show that the crystallization of PLLA, whether for the melt crystallization (including nonisothermal and isothermal crystallization process) or for the cold crystallization (including the cold crystallization occurring during the DSC heating process and during the annealing process), is greatly dependent upon the content of NA. At relatively lower NA content (≤0.1 wt%), the nucleation effect of NA is inconspicuous, however, at higher NA content (≥0.2 wt%), it exhibits great nucleation effect for the crystallization of PLLA. Further results show that the double endothermic peak of PLLA depends on the temperature applied for the crystallization. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Emamectin benzoate, a macrocyclic lactone, can be used in low quantities to control arthropod pests, effectively. However, its poor photostability prevents its further use. To delay its photodegradation, novel acrylate‐type polymeric nanoparticles were synthesized and tested as materials for improving pesticide photostability. N‐acylated emamectin benzoate was synthesized via bonding emamectin benzoate to acrylamide. The resulting pesticide, containing the double bond linkage –C=C–N–, was copolymerized with butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate by the emulsion polymerization method. The refined polymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy spectroscopy, and result illustrated the pesticide was conjugated to the polymers. Atomic force microscope and dynamic light scattering analyses were also used for determining the average particle diameters of pesticide–polymer conjugates. Photostability tests showed that the nanoparticles obtained exhibited greatly improved photostability. Additionally, the laboratory toxicity tests demonstrated that the insecticidal effects of the novel emamectin benzoate formulation were better than those of the control pesticide formulation (emamectin benzoate EC). Based on the solvent-free method, novel fluorinated polyurethane/polyacrylate hybrid emulsions, dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate (DFMA) as fluorinated monomer, were successfully prepared via emulsion polymerization without traditional emulsifier. For the purpose of increasing the grafting ratio of polyurethane and polyacrylate, 60Co γ-ray radiation polymerization had been adopted to enhance the hardness of latex film. The chain structure and polymerization progress were confirmed by the analysis of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The grafting ratio of polymethyl methacrylate and polyurethane was obtained by calculating the ratio of N–H peak integral area and Ph(C=C) peak integral area. The effect of DFMA content on thermal stability, mechanical property and water resistance were investigated systematically by thermal weight loss analysis, tensile strength test, absorbed water ratio and water contact angle.  相似文献

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) have become ubiquitous contaminations due to their use as flame retardants. The structural similarity of PBDE to some dioxin-like compounds suggested that they may share similar toxicological effects: they might activate the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) signal transduction pathway and thus might have adverse effects on wildlife and humans. In this study, in silico computational workflow combining molecular docking and three-dimensional quantitative structure–activity relationship (3D-QSAR) was performed to investigate the binding interactions between PBDEs and AhR and the structural features affecting the AhR binding affinity of PBDE. The molecular docking showed that hydrogen-bond and hydrophobic interactions were the major driving forces for the binding of ligands to AhR, and several key amino acid residues were also identified. The CoMSIA model was developed from the conformations obtained from molecular docking and exhibited satisfactory results as q 2 of 0.605 and r 2 of 0.996. Furthermore, the derived model had good robustness and statistical significance in both internal and external validations. The 3D contour maps generated from CoMSIA provided important structural features influence the binding affinity. The obtained results were beneficial to better understand the toxicological mechanism of PBDEs.  相似文献

Struvite-K (KMgPO4·6H2O) is the main hydration product of magnesium potassium phosphate cement. Its thermal stability is critical to the properties of magnesium potassium phosphate cement. Therefore, in this study, the dehydration behavior of struvite-K was investigated at N2 atmosphere in non-isothermal condition. The process was conducted and controlled in a simultaneous TG/DTA analyzer, at heating rates of 2, 5, 10, 15, and 20 K min?1. The residual mass was always around 58.5% of the initial one, regardless of the heating rate, which corresponds to the dehydration reaction through one step, KMgPO4·6H2O → KMgPO4. The activation energy (E a) corresponding to the dehydration of struvite-K was evaluated by non-isothermal kinetic analysis based on the application of isoconversional methods (Flynn–Wall–Ozawa and Kissinger–Akahira–Sunose methods). The calculated results show that Flynn–Wall–Ozawa has slightly higher values of activation energy (E a) and correlation coefficients (R 2). Both methods have been proved to be suitable for analyzing dehydration behavior of struvite-K.  相似文献
