Decontamination of radioactive cesium from natural NaCl by amide-type open-chain crown ethers

An attempt has been made to develop a radiochemical methodology for the decontamination of a trace amount of radioactive cesium from a bulk amount of natural NaCl by liquid-liquid extraction (LLX). Open chain crown ethers, of amide type, namely, N,N,N",N"-tetraphenyl-3,6-dioxaoctanediamide (TDD), N,N,N",N"-tetraphenyl-3,6,9-trioxaundecanediamide and N,N"-dinaphthyl-N,N"-diphenyl-3,6-dioxaoctanediamide (DDD) have been chosen for this purpose. The separation factor between Cs and Na is the highest when 10^-4M TDD dissolved in nitrobenzene is used as extractant and 0.4M picric acid at pH 5.0 is used as aqueous phase. About 60% Cs is extracted in this condition in a single run.     

New tridentate cyclometalated platinum(II) and palladium(II) complexes of N,2-diphenyl-8-quinolinamine: syntheses, crystal structures, and photophysical properties

A new tridentate cyclometalated platinum(II) complex derived from N,2-diphenyl-8-quinolinamine, which consists of two crystallographic independent molecules with two intermolecular N-H-Cl-Pt hydrogen bonds forming a dimer, exhibited a low-energy luminescence at ca. 740 nm in a 1 × 10⁻³ M dichloromethane solution and a strong emission centered at 670 nm in a solid state, but the analogous palladium(II) complex was nonemissive at room temperature.     

Recent progress in two-photon small molecule fluorescent probes for enzymes

This review aims to provide a summary of the progress in TP small molecule fluorescent probes for enzymes in recent years and displays the main fluorescent mechanisms that have been applied to design probes.     

The ordered phase of methylammonium lead chloride CH3ND3PbCl3

The perovskite-structured compound methylammonium lead chloride orders into a low-temperature phase of space group Pnma, in which at 80 K each of the orthorhombic axes , and is doubled with respect to the room temperature disordered cubic phase (). The structure was solved by ab initio methods using the programs EXPO and FOX. This unusual cell basis for space group Pnma is not that of a standard tilt system. This phase, in which the methylammonium ions, are ordered shows distorted octahedra. The octahedra possess a bond angle variance of 60.663°² and a quadratic elongation of 1.018, and are more distorted than those in the ordered phase of methylammonium lead bromide. There is also an alternating long and short Pb-Cl bond along a, due to an off-center displacement of Pb within the octahedron. This suggests that the most rigid unit is actually the methylammonium cation, rather than the PbCl₆ octahedra, in agreement with existing spectroscopic data.     

SYNTHESES AND SPECTROSCOPIC PROPERTIES OF LANTHANIDE COMPLEXES, Ln(acac)_3(Ph_3PO)_3

A series of new complexes of formula Ln(acac)_s(Ph_3PO)_3 (where Ln~(3+)=Nd~(3+), Sm~(3+), Eu~(3+), Tb~(3+), Ho~(3+)) have been prepared and characterized. The coordination of two ligands with lanthanide ions are studied by IR spectra, ~1H, ~(13)C, ~(31)P-NMR and metal-ligand charge tranafer tranaition is also discussed via electronic adaorption and luminescence spectroscopy.     

甲亢病人血清镁含量及其临床意义

用火焰原子吸收法测定了２０００例甲亢病人的血清镁含量及１２００例天津市正常人群血清镁含量，结果显示，甲亢病人血清镁含量显著低于正常人群，有显著统计意义（Ｐ〈０．０１）。提示：甲亢病人血清镁含量对甲亢病诊断及治疗过程的镁的摄入补充有重要的意义。     

Synthesis and photoluminescence of single crystals europium ion-doped BaF2 cubic nanorods

In this work, we used the hydrothermal method to synthesize Eu³⁺ ion-doped cubic BaF₂ nanorods, which is a luminescent material. The clubbed structures were well crystallized and exhibited face-centred cubic structures, as indicated by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, electron diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy. The luminescent properties were studied, and local symmetry surrounding Eu³⁺ ions and electronic transition processes included. The results indicated that Eu³⁺ occupied only one C_4ν site in nanorods.     

新显色剂2-[2-(5-溴-噻唑)偶氮]-5-二甲氨基苯甲酸与铑的显色反应的研究

本文研究了新显色剂5-Br-TAMB与铑(Ⅱ)的显色反应。在pH5.0～7.0的水溶液中,铑(Ⅱ)与5-Br-TAMB形成1:2型稳定的蓝色配合物,其最大吸收波长为674nm,表观摩尔吸光系数为1.1×10~5L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1),铑(Ⅱ)含量在0～12μg/ml范围内服从比耳定律。采用加入适量EDTA的方法消除了Cu~(2+)、Co~(2+)、Ni~(2+)等干扰离子。建立了一个在二元配合物体系中具有高灵敏度及选择性、稳定、简便地吸光光度测定微量铑(Ⅱ)的新方法。     

3,4—亚甲二氧基苯甲酸锡酯的合成及表征

３，４－亚甲二氧基苯甲酸及其取代物与三苯基氢氧化锡或二丁基化锡反应合成了５个锡酯，通过元素分析，ＩＲ和＾１ＨＮＭＲ对其进行了表征。     

Kinetic investigation of the textile bleaching process

Volumetric H₂-uptake measurements on an Mo₂N (79 m²g^–1) sample reduced at 673 K have been carried out and the uptake isotherms in the temperature range of 308–623 K have been determined. Both the total and reversible hydrogen uptake increased with the uptake temperature. The irreversible hydrogen uptake increased abruptly when the uptake temperature was raised up to 423 K. The maximum of irreversible hydrogen uptake was measured at 473 K. The H_IR/Mo ratio calculated from the uptakes obtained in the temperature range of 308–623 K varies in the range of 0.0010–0.0202. One possible mechanism for hydrogen adsorption is proposed to be heterolytic dissociation on Mo-N paris, in which the molybdenum atoms are in unsaturated coordination.
