The oxygenation reaction of cholesteryl acetate 1 was examined with the Fe(III)(PA)(3)/O(2)/MeCN system using an electrochemical method. The constant potential technique gave mainly the 7-hydroxylated product stereoselectively, along with the 7-oxo product. This oxygenation system is mechanistically unique, requiring iron catalyst, dioxygen, and both cathode and anode.  相似文献

The anisotropically phase-segregated CoPd sulfide nanoparticles, named "CoPd nanoacorns", were spontaneously generated by reducing the corresponding metal precursors with 1,2-hexadecanediol in the presence of various alkanethiols. The CoPd nanoacorn consisting of crystalline Co9S8 and amorphous PdSx phases with the Co9S8 (001) plane at their interface was found to spontaneously form through the anisotropic growth of the Co9S8 phase after the generation of PdSx nanoparticles.  相似文献

The role of autophagy during the early neonatal starvation period   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
At birth the trans-placental nutrient supply is suddenly interrupted, and neonates face severe starvation until supply can be restored through milk nutrients. Here, we show that neonates adapt to this adverse circumstance by inducing autophagy. Autophagy is the primary means for the degradation of cytoplasmic constituents within lysosomes. The level of autophagy in mice remains low during embryogenesis; however, autophagy is immediately upregulated in various tissues after birth and is maintained at high levels for 3-12 h before returning to basal levels within 1-2 days. Mice deficient for Atg5, which is essential for autophagosome formation, appear almost normal at birth but die within 1 day of delivery. The survival time of starved Atg5-deficient neonates (approximately 12 h) is much shorter than that of wild-type mice (approximately 21 h) but can be prolonged by forced milk feeding. Atg5-deficient neonates exhibit reduced amino acid concentrations in plasma and tissues, and display signs of energy depletion. These results suggest that the production of amino acids by autophagic degradation of 'self' proteins, which allows for the maintenance of energy homeostasis, is important for survival during neonatal starvation.  相似文献

We present a search for electron neutrino appearance from accelerator-produced muon neutrinos in the K2K long-baseline neutrino experiment. One candidate event is found in the data corresponding to an exposure of 4.8 x 10(19) protons on target. The expected background in the absence of neutrino oscillations is estimated to be 2.4+/-0.6 events and is dominated by misidentification of events from neutral current pi(0) production. We exclude the nu(micro) to nu(e) oscillations at 90% C.L. for the effective mixing angle in the 2-flavor approximation of sin((2)2theta(microe)( approximately 1/2sin((2)2theta(13))>0.15 at Deltam(2)(microe)=2.8 x 10(-3) eV(2), the best-fit value of the nu(micro) disappearance analysis in K2K. The most stringent limit of sin((2)2theta(microe)<0.09 is obtained at Deltam(2)(microe)=6 x 10(-3) eV(2).  相似文献

对线性回归分类算法进行了改进。考虑了线性回归分类算法中没有考虑的类间信息,通过选择类模式的投影方向判别不同类的模式,不同类的模式互相远离,相同类的模式尽可能靠近来估计投影矩阵;再利用投影矩阵将训练图像及测试图像投影到各类的特征子空间;最后,计算出测试图像与训练图像间的距离,利用K-近邻分类器完成人脸的识别。在FERET人脸数据库上进行实验验证。实验结果表明,相比其他回归分类算法,本算法取得了更好的识别效果。  相似文献

An expression system for a chemically synthesized gene, encoding a model peptide of marine mussel adhesive protein, was constructed in Escherichia coli under regulation of the T7‐promoter. The model peptide consisted of six repeats of the decapeptide AKPSYPPTYK. Although the product was expressed as an inclusion body, we were able to solubilize it successfully, using acetic acid. The higher‐order structure of this model peptide was investigated using CD spectroscopy and NMR spectroscopy. Using the modified enzyme, mushroom tyrosinase, the tyrosine residue was hydroxylated to 3,4‐dihydoxyphenylalanine (Dopa), and the resulting modified peptide was polymerized, solidified, and insolubilized spontaneously. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Polyamides (4a-b and 5a-b) were synthesized from interfacial polycondensation of novel diamine containing phosphatidylcholine analogous moiety, hexamethylene diamine with adipoyl chloride, or sebacoyl chloride in the interface of water and carbon tetrachloride at room temperature. The characterizations of synthesized diamine and polyamides were carried out with FT-NMR, or IR spectral method, elemental analysis, and melting point measurements, respectively. These polyamides obtained are insoluble in any normal solvents. From the results of X-ray diffraction analysis and POM observation, it was revealed that the polyamide 4b was prepared with high molecular weight, while polyamide 4a obtained seemed to have low molecular weight. For copolymers 5a and 5b, X-ray reflections from only adipoyl or sebacoyl chloride parts were observed as in crystalline state. Three new amphiphilic phospholipid diols containing hydrophilic phosphatidylcholine analogues in the main chains and hydrophobic octadecyl, hexadecyl or dodecyl alkyl groups in the side chains were synthesized. The typical phospholipid diol based on an octadecyl group was further reacted with diisocyanates such as hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate (TDI) and 4,4′-methylenediphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), respectively. Preliminary studies suggest that polyurethane based on MDI shows a viscosity behavior similar to common polyelectrolytes and exhibits a therm decomposition peak at 244°C due to the phospholipid moiety and a melting point at 218°C.  相似文献

Several new polyurethanes containing cholesterol and phosphatidylcholine analogous moieties were synthesized by addition polymerization of 2-[bis(2-hydroxyethyl)methylammonio]ethyl 5-cholesten-3β-yl phosphate ( 2 ) with diisocyanates such as hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate (TDI), 4,4′-methylenediphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) and m-xylylene diisocyanate (XDI), respectively. They were characterized by their IR and 1H NMR spectral data and elemental analyses. Preliminary studies suggest that these polyurethanes show the viscosity behavior of common polyelectrolytes.  相似文献
