The interaction of procaine hydrochloride and beta-cyclodextrin in aqueous solution was studied using resonance Rayleigh scattering technology. The molar ratio of the inclusion complex was 1:1 established by spectrophotometry. The resonance Rayleigh scattering technology was first applied in the determination of the beta-cyclodextrin inclusion constant. The inclusion constant of procaine hydrochloride beta-cyclodextrin complex Kf is 1.23 x 10(2) and 1.27 x 10(2) l mol(-1) for method I and 1.15 x 10(2) and 1.21 x 10(2) l mol(-1) for method II. These determination results were in correspondence with the results of the spectrophotometric and fluorescence methods. Therefore, the resonance Rayleigh scattering method can be used as a new technology for the determination of the inclusion constant.  相似文献

This paper presents dielectric properties of alkanethiol self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) under an ac electric field. Using a Hg-SAM/SAM-Hg junction, we measured the ac impedance of alkanethiol SAMs using a sinusoidal perturbation of 30 mV (peak-to-peak) with frequency ranging from 1 Hz to 1 MHz at zero bias. Semicircles at higher frequencies and at middle frequencies along with Warburg lines at lower frequencies were observed in complex plane impedance plots, that is, Nyquist plots. The frequency response of SAMs was analyzed by modeling the junction using an equivalent circuit and fitting the Nyquist plots. The semicircles at higher frequencies are attributed to the effect of the SAM/SAM interfaces, and the ones at middle frequencies are attributed to the effect of alkanethiol SAMs. The comparison in the plots of the imaginary part of the impedance Z against frequency for the bare Hg electrodes (in pure ethanal) and the SAM-covered Hg electrodes (in alkanethiol solution) supports the analysis. The Warburg lines are attributed to a certain ionic impurity. The dielectric loss spectra are further analyzed. Chain-length-dependent peaks, which correspond to different relaxation mechanisms, at higher frequencies and middle frequencies were observed in the spectra of the dissipation factor (tan delta vs frequency). The peaks move to small frequency with the increase of chain length of alkanethiols. Using a correlation of peak position with the chain length, we then derived active energies of 39-99 meV for alkanethiol SAMs of C7-C18 under an ac electric field.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline zinc coatings were produced by pulse electrodeposition in acid sulfate bath containing thiourea and benzalacetone additives and characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy techniques. The influence of benzalacetone concentration and pulse peak current density on the grain size and crystallographic orientation of zinc deposits was investigated. Zinc electrodeposited from additive-free solutions or with one of the two additives is not composed of nanosized crystals. The mixture additives of thiourea and benzalacetone give rise to the formation of particle-like nanocrystalline zinc with a (10ī1) random orientation. A change in peak current density from 2 to 1 A/cm2 only increases the grain size from 60 to 62 nm.  相似文献

A new combination of a flow/sequential injection method for the analysis of ammonia has been developed. Gaseous ammonia is selectively absorbed in a phosphoric acid coated glass tube and determined with Berthelot reagents by flow injection. The combination of the gas diffusion denuder sampler with flow injection makes this method very sensitive and selective. The limit of detection of 0.15 mug NH(3).  相似文献

Structures and physical properties of small palladium clusters Pdn up to n = 15 and several selected larger clusters were studied using density functional theory under the generalized gradient approximation. It was found that small Pdn clusters begin to grow 3‐dimensionally at n = 4 and evolve into symmetric geometric configurations, such as icosahedral and fcc‐like, near n = 15. Several isomers with nearly degenerate average binding energies were found to coexist and the physical properties of these clusters were calculated. For several selected isomers, relatively moderate energy barriers for structural interchange for a given cluster size were found, implying that isomerization could readily occur under ambient conditions. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Carbon nanotube powder microelectrodes (CNTPMEs) were used to study the anodic oxidation of hydrazine at Carbon nanotube (CNT)-the novel carbon material. It was found that the electrochemical behaviours were greatly improved at CNTs, indicating that the anodic oxidation could be catalyzed at CNTs. The kinetics parameters of this process were calculated, the heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant k was 0.0019 cm s(-1), (1-alpha)n(alpha) was 0.22. The CNTPMEs were also found with high sensitivity for hydrazine detection, could be used as hydrazine sensors.  相似文献
