Four New Briarane Diterpenoids from the Gorgonian Coral Junceella fragilis

Chemical investigation of the gorgonian coral Junceella fragilis, collected by scuba diving in Taiwan, resulted in the isolation of four new briarane‐type diterpenoids, frajunolides A–D ( 1 – 4 ), along with three known briaranes. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic studies, especially 1‐ and 2D‐NMR as well as HR‐MS experiments. The inhibitory effect of all isolated metabolites towards superoxide‐anion generation and elastase release by human neutrophils in response to formylmethionyl‐leucyl‐phenylalanine/dihydrocytochalasin B (FMLP/CB) was evaluated.

可加广义代数格上的 Tietze 扩张定理

可加的广义代数格范畴与 T₀ 拓扑空间范畴相等价, 从这个观点出发, 作者把可加广义代数格作为一个闭集格, 在其上建立 Urysohn 引理和 Tietze 扩张定理. 这是拓扑理论在格上的一种新推广, 有助于格上拓扑理论的研究和广义连续格理论的应用.     

Y. Meyer小波的一般形式

首先我们证明了，如果尺度函数有紧支集，来自多尺度分析的小波函数的支集形式，然后我们证明了Y．Meyer小波的尺度函的一般形式。最后给出了它的另外两种形式和对应的Y．Meyer小波。     

Magnetic properties of iron nitride-alumina nanocomposite materials prepared by high-energy ball milling

The structural and magnetic properties of the granular iron nitride-alumina composite materials, (Fe_xN)_0.2(Al₂O₃)_0.8 and (Fe_xN)_0.6(Al₂O₃)_0.4, fabricated using high-energy ball milling have been determined by using X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and magnetization measurements. The Mössbauer spectra, fit with a distribution of hyperfine fields between zero and 40 T, indicate that the weighted average field decreases with increasing milling time. The isomer shift increases with milling time because of a reduced iron 4s-electron density at the grain boundaries. Coercive fields as high as 325 and 110 Oe are obtained for (Fe_xN)_0.2(Al₂O₃)_0.8 at 5 and 300 K, respectively; the increase in the coercive field upon cooling indicates the presence of superparamagnetic particles. The coercive field increases with milling time because of the reduced particle size. The decrease in the magnetization results from the increase in both the superparamagnetic fraction and the concentration of surface defects with increased milling time.
