An efficient tandem reaction for the asymmetric synthesis of six‐membered spirocyclic oxindoles has been successfully developed through a formal [2+2+2] annulation strategy. The amine‐catalysed stereoselective Michael addition of aliphatic aldehydes to electron‐deficient olefinic oxindole motifs gave chiral C3 components, which were further combined with diverse electrophiles (activated olefins or imines) to afford spirocyclic oxindoles with versatile molecular complexity (up to six contiguous stereogenic centres, high diastereo‐ and enantioselectivities). 相似文献

The objective of this study is to estimate the contribution of Na+ as a counterion in the formation of H-AOT&Na-AOT-based W/O microemulsions using aqueous NaOH solution by pyranine absorbance measurements. A mixture of an aqueous NaOH solution containing pyranine/H-AOT&Na-AOT/isooctane was emulsified by changing the mixing ratio of Na-AOT (XNa-AOT = 0–1) and the mole fraction of NaOH (XNaOH = [NaOH]/the AOT− concentration in the water pool = 0–1). The phase behavior of the emulsified mixture was evaluated from the absorbance of pyranine at the isosbestic point and by visual observations. W/O microelumsions are formed at the mid-range of XNa-AOT, whereas the emulsified mixture separates into two phases at lower XNa-AOT and higher XNa-AOT. The two phase boundaries shift toward lower XNa-AOT as with increasing XNaOH. The phase behavior depends on the degree of screening of electrostatic repulsions between the polar headgroups of AOT− by the Na+ counterion. Interestingly, nano-sized W/O microemulsions are formed without phase separation using a highly concentrated NaOH aqueous solution when the Na-AOT mixing ratio is appropriately adjusted. The phase behavior was plotted as XNaOH versus XNa-AOT, and the correlation equations for the two phase boundaries were obtained by fitting the points. The contribution of the Na+ counterion from NaOH to W/O microemulsion formation was estimated by the correlation equations. The absorbance of pyranine and the size of W/O microemulsions, as measured by DLS, were plotted as a function of XNa+=(x[Na+ from NaOH]+[Na+ from Na-AOT])/[AOT−], in which x is the ratio contributed by NaOH. The absorbance and size correlates well with XNa+, indicating that XNa+ is a meaningful parameter for quantitatively estimating phase behavior and size variation. 相似文献

Monodispersed, submicron-sized Janus ORMOSIL particles with multiple functional groups were prepared by the selective surface reaction of a monolayer film formed at a hexane-water interface. A well-ordered monolayer film was obtained by self-assembly of ORMOSIL particles with multiple functional groups at hexane-water interface. The photopolymerization of an ordered monolayer containing ORMOSIL particles yields a rigid film strong enough to maintain its integrity for transfer and further chemical reaction. The chemical reaction of this ordered film with organic and inorganic functional groups produced Janus ORMOSIL particles with multiple functional groups. The morphologies, structures, and chemical compositions of monolayer films and Janus ORMOSIL particles were characterized by FT-IR, solid state NMR, X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy (OM), electron microscopies (SEM and TEM), and confocal laser scanning microscopy. 相似文献

Photodegradation of organic compounds in water solutions by means of economically advantageous and environment-friendly processes is a topic of growing interest. In recent years a great attention has been devoted to TiO2-based photocatalysts for the oxidative degradation of various organic pollutants. In this context, we have prepared new photo-catalytic polycrystalline TiO2 systems impregnated with sensitizers, i.e., copper, iron or manganese porphyrins, and investigated their photoactivity for 4-nitrophenol oxidation compared with that of bare TiO2. A significant improvement of the photoreactivity was observed in the case of TiO2 impregnated with copper porphyrin, while only a slight beneficial effect was observed in the case of iron porphyrin. A new series of cellulose-graft-poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(cellulose-g-PNIPAM) copolymers were prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) of N-isopropylacrylamide monomers from a cellulose-based macro-initiator, which was homogeneously synthesized in an ionic liquid 1-allyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride(Amim Cl). The composition of cellulose-g-PNIPAM copolymers could be adjusted by altering the feeding ratio and reaction time. The resultant copolymers with relatively high content of PNIPAM segments(molar substitution of PNIPAM ? 18.3) were soluble in water at room temperature. Aqueous solutions of cellulose-g-PNIPAM copolymers exhibited clear temperature-sensitive behavior, and their sol-to-gel phase transition properties were investigated by dynamic light scattering(DLS) and UV measurements. Compared with pure PNIPAM, the cellulose-g-PNIPAM copolymers possessed higher lower critical solution temperatures(LCST) in a range from 36.9 ?C to 40.8 ?C, which are close to normal human body temperature, and could be tuned by adjusting the content of PNIPAM segments in copolymers. Spherical structure of cellulose-g-PNIPAM copolymers formed at temperatures above LCST and its morphology was observed by TEM and SEM. These novel cellulose-g-PNIPAM copolymers may be attractive substrates for some biomedical applications, such as drug release and tissue engineering. 相似文献

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) provides an effective option for treatment of tumors and other diseases in superficial tissues and attracts attention for in vitro study with cells. In this study, we present a significantly improved model of in vitro cell killing through Type-II PDT for simulation of the molecular interactions and cell killing in time domain in the presence of oxygen transport within a spherical cell. The self-consistency of the approach is examined by determination of conditions for obtaining positive definitive solutions of molecular concentrations. Decay constants of photosensitizers and unoxidized receptors are extracted as the key indices of molecular kinetics with different oxygen diffusion constants and permeability at the cell membrane. By coupling the molecular kinetics to cell killing, we develop a modeling method of PDT cytotoxicity caused by singlet oxygen and obtain the cell survival ratio as a function of light fluence or initial photosensitizer concentration with different photon density or irradiance of incident light and other parameters of oxygen transport. The results show that the present model of Type-II PDT yields a powerful tool to quantitate various events underlying PDT at the molecular and cellular levels and to interpret experimental results of in vitro cell studies. 相似文献
