Azide anation and racemization of optically pure mer-exo(H)- and mer-endo(H)-[Co(OH)(dien)(dapo)]2+ ( A and B (X = OH), resp.; dien = N-(2-aminoethyl)ethane-1,2-diamine; dapo = 1,3-diaminopropan-2-ol) involve the same symmetrical pentacoordinate intermediate as the base hydrolyses of the corresponding mer-exo(H)- and mer-endo(H)-[CoX(dien)(dapo)]2+ species A and B , respectively, where X = Cl, Br, or N3. The kinetic parameters of the anation process are fully compatible with the independently measured competition ratio. The rate data reveal that substitution of OH? is unexpectedly fast, viz. it is not consistent with the usual sequence Br? > Cl? > H2O > N > OH?. This behavior is interpreted on the basis of an internal conjugate base mechanism which involves an amino-hydroxo/aminato-aqua tautomerism, viz. the reaction is actually an OH? -catalyzed substitution of [CoH2O(dien)(dapo)]3+ where deprotonation occurs effectively at the secondary-amine site NH of dien.  相似文献

An electrothermal atomic absorption (a.a.) spectrometer is modified to allow accurate correlation of absorbance and pyrometrically measured temperature with time. To by-pass the slow electronics of the spectrometer, the signal is fed from the preamplifier immediately after the photomultipier tube to a 12-bit A/D converter mounted in a 320K IBM-PC microcomputer. The wall temperature of the graphite furnace, measured with an automatic optical pyrometer, is recorded simultaneously with absorbance by feeding the pyrometer output to a second channel of the A/D board. Fast deuterium-arac background correction is also done. Background-corrected absorbance, background absorbance and temperature are recorded at 60 Hz. A simple algorithm allowed experimental activation energies to be calculated automatically. All programming was in BASIC or PASCAL.  相似文献

Summary Four modifications to the COSMIC molecular mechanics force field are described, which greatly increase both its versatility and the accuracy of calculated conformational energies. The Hill non-bonded van der Waals potential function has been replaced by a two-parameter Morse curve and a new H-H potential, similar to that in MM3, incorporated. Hydrocarbon energies in particular are much improved.A simple iterative Hückel pi-electron molecular orbital calculation allows modelling of conjugated systems. Calculated bond lengths and rotational barriers for a series of conjugated hydrocarbons and nitrogen heterocycles are shown to be as accurate as those determined by the MM2 SCF method.Explicit hydrogen-bonding potentials for H-bond acceptor-donor atom pairs have been included to give better hydrogen bond energies and lengths. The van der Waals radii of protonic hydrogens are reduced to 0.5 Å and the energy well depth is increased to 1.0 kcal mol-1.Two new general atom types, N+ sp 2 and O- sp 3 , have been introduced which allow a wide variety of charged conjugated systems to be studied. A minimum of parameterisation is required, as the new types are easily included in the Hückel scheme which automatically adjusts bond and torsional parameters according to the defined bond-order relationships.  相似文献

We investigated the plutonium assay method that uses the plutonyl trinitrate tetrapropyl-ammonium ion-pair solvent extraction with spectrophotometry of the extract as a candidate method capable of providing robustness and precision. To identify and assess the effect of factors on the precision, we looked at sampling techniques, silver oxide oxidation conditions extraction time, extract stability, and temperature dependence of the extract analytical peak height and position. The covalent binding of 35S-chloramine-T to human resum albumin (HSA) and ovalbumin is described. At pH 6.5, up to 24 chloramine-T molecules were found to be covalently bound per molecule of HSA; with ovalbumin the binding was only 5–7 molecule per protein molecule. Binding was accompanied by extensive modification of methionine, cysteine, histidine, tyrosine and lysine. Three new peaks appeared in the amino acid profiles of the modified proteins; two were identified as 1-aminoadipic acid (oxidation of lysine) and 3-chlorotyrosine. The most sites for covalent binding are lysine residues.  相似文献

Active osmium cluster catalysts (derived from Os3(CO)12, H2Os3(CO)10, H4Os4(CO)12, Os6(CO)18 and H2Os10C(CO)24 supported on silica, alumina, titania, and ceria) contain, in their infrared spectra, a band in the region 1930–1985 cm−1 that is characteristic of the cluster/support combination. The activities of these catalysts for reactions of hydrogen with ethene, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and ethane, relate to their characteristic CO stretching frequencies, giving ‘volcano’ curves. Evidence from ethene hydrogenation kinetics confirms that the characteristic CO-frequency is a monitor of strength of adsorption at the catalytically active site. NMR spectroscopic studies reveal that binding of Na(+) by tris(2-methoxyphenyl)amine (3) brings two of these tripod ethers together about the metal ion; the related double-tripod-ether ionophore 1,2-bis[2-(bis(2-methoxyphenyl)amino)phenoxy]ethane (4), in which two triarylamines are covalently attached, binds LiI, LiBPh(4), NaI, NaBPh(4), and KB(4-ClPh)(4). Dynamic NMR puts lower limits on binding free energies of 4 for Na(+) (71.8 kJ mol(-)(1)) and K(+) (66.8 kJ mol(-)(1)) ions. X-ray studies of 3(2).NaBPh(4), 4.NaBPh(4), 4.NaB(4-ClPh)(4), and 4.KB(4-ClPh)(4).CH(3)NO(2) show eight-coordinate M(+) ions bound between crystallographically independent, homochiral triarylamine tripod ethers in structures reminiscent of alkali metal [2.2.2] cryptates. Complexes crystallize as follows: 3(2).NaBPh(4), monoclinic, P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 10.701(3) ?, b = 37.593(3) ?, c = 13.774(2) ?, and beta = 98.24(2) degrees; 4.NaBPh(4), triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2, a = 12.157(1) ?, b = 14.811(1) ?, c = 15.860(2) ?, alpha = 105.400(8) degrees, beta = 91.594(9) degrees, and gamma = 95.354(8) degrees; 4.NaB(4-ClPh)(4), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4, a = 13.652(5) ?, b = 18.75(1) ?, c = 22.805(5) ?, and beta = 92.21(5) degrees; 4.KB(4-ClPh)(4).CH(3)NO(2), monoclinic, Pn, Z = 2, a = 13.663(4) ?, b = 12.228(3) ?, c = 18.712(8) ?, and beta = 91.45(3) degrees. They show variable N-M-N angles; 3(2).NaBPh(4) is surprisingly bent ( angleN-Na-N = 154.5 degrees ), while the 4.M(+) complexes are normal: nearly linear for Na(+) ( angleN-Na-N = 178.6, 178.1 degrees ) and again bent with the larger K(+) ( angleN-K-N = 164.5 degrees ). Finally, free 4 is structurally similar to 3; it crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with Z = 2, a = 8.068(1) ?, b = 14.599(2) ?, c = 16.475(3) ?, alpha = 115.43(1) degrees, beta = 92.51(1) degrees, and gamma = 90.40(1) degrees.  相似文献

N-Bonded pentaamminecobalt(III) complexes of 2-cyanobenzamide, 2-cyanoacetamide, and fumaric, succinic, glutaric, and adipic amide-nitriles have been prepared. The kinetics of the base hydrolysis of (succinonitrile)pentaamminecobalt(III) have been measured: k(obsd) = k(OH) [OH(-)]; k(OH) = 1.23 x 10(3) {I = 1.00 M (NaCH(3)COO), 25 degrees C}. Amido-N-coordinated 2-cyanobenzamide cyclized in aqueous base, and it forms [(1-oxo-3-iminoisoindolino-endo-N)pentaamminecobalt(III). In aqueous acid it protonates on the exo-imine and solvolyzes (k(H) = 7.9 x 10(-)(5) s(-)(1)), forming the pentaammineaquacobalt(III) complex and 1-oxo-3-iminoisoindoline. In aqueous acid the amido-N complexes are protonated on the amide oxygen. The 2-cyanobenzamide species rearranges to form the nitrile-bonded linkage isomer in aqueous acid and also in Me(2)SO-d(6), while the succinic amide nitrile complex rearranges more slowly in aqueous acid to form solely the nitrile-bonded linkage isomer. The kinetics of the reaction were k(obsd) = f(k(H)[H(+)]/(K(a) + [H(+)])) where k(H) = 3.4 x 10(-)(4) M(-)(1) s(-)(1) and K(a) = 6.76 x 10(-)(2) M, pK(a) 1.2; pK(a) 1.3 (spectrophotometric) {I = 1.00 M (LiClO(4).3H(2)O), 25 degrees C}. In Me(2)SO-d(6) this amide-N complex reacts by three pathways: solvolysis, amide-N to -O isomerization, and amide-N to nitrile-bonded rearrangement (10%). The conjugate acid of the 2-cyanoacetamido-N complex reacted in both aqueous acid and acidified Me(2)SO-d(6) by solvolysis, amide N to O isomerization, and amide-N to nitrile-bonded rearrangement (17% in each solvent). The fumaric, glutaric, and adipic amide-nitrile complexes bonded through the amide nitrogen react only by solvolysis and amide-N to -O isomerization. Pentaamminecobalt(III) complexes of 2-cyanobenzamidine and succinic, glutaric, and adipic amidine-nitriles bonded through the amidine secondary nitrogen have been prepared. The 2-cyanobenzamidine complex undergoes rapid ligand cyclization to form the corresponding complex of 1,3-diiminoisoindoline bonded through the deprotonated endocyclic nitrogen. In aqueous acid the complex is protonated on one of the exo-imines, and this solvolyzes to form the pentaammineaquacobalt(III) complex and 1,3-diiminoisoindoline {k(H) = 1.7 x 10(-)(3) s(-)(1) (0.5 M HCl, 25 degrees C). Coordinated succinic amidine-nitrile also cyclizes in liquid ammonia to yield the complex of 2,5-diiminopyrrolidine bonded through the deprotonated endocyclic nitrogen. This is stable in aqueous base but solvolyzes rapidly (t(1/2) (s)) in aqueous acid to the aqua complex and succinimide; the latter is formed by hydrolysis of the free 2,5-diiminopyrrolidine. The dinuclear complex &mgr;-decaammine(succinonitrile)dicobalt(III) was synthesized; in aqueous base it forms &mgr;-(succinamido-N)decaamminecobalt(III). The dinuclear dinitrile complex reacts in liquid ammonia to form the corresponding succinic amidine-nitrile species which cyclizes rapidly to form &mgr;-decaammine(2,5-diiminopyrrolidino)cobalt(III) in which the ligand is bonded to cobalt(III) through the exo-imines.  相似文献

Farnesyl-protein transferase (FPTase) is an enzyme responsible for the farnesylation of Ras protein. Farnesylation is required for cell-transforming activity in several tumor-types, and therefore, inhibition of FPTase activity may be a potential target for anticancer drugs. Our continued search for novel inhibitors led to the isolation of a number of bicyclic resorcinaldehyde cyclohexanone derivatives named here cylindrols A(1) to A(4), cylindrols B and B(1), and a number of known compounds, from Cylindrocarpon lucidum. The compounds were isolated by bioassay-guided separation using Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, and reverse phase HPLC. Structures were elucidated by extensive application of 2D NMR and X-ray crystallography. The determination of absolute stereochemistry was accomplished by CD measurements. Chemical transformations of the most abundant compound resulted in a number of key derivatives which were critical for the evaluation of structure activity relationship. These compounds are members of ascochlorin family and showed a wide range of inhibitory activity (0.7 &mgr;M to >140 &mgr;M) against FPTase. The FPTase activity was noncompetitive with respect to both substrates. Isolation, structures, chemical transformations, and FPTase activity are discussed in detail.  相似文献
