Wound healing in epidermis is a complex physiological process in which new cells are created to repair the damaged tissue. The timing of cell division and growth mechanisms in wound healing are influenced by biological, mechanical and medical factors. Abstract

A series of iron, cobalt and nickel metal phosphides of chemical formula FexP, Co2P and Ni2P with high specific surface areas of 331.1, 294.2 and 228.0 m2 g?1, respectively, was firstly synthesized by phenol-formaldehyde resin route. It was found that the as-prepared Co2P and Ni2P samples synthesized using phenol-formaldehyde resin as a carbon source showed much higher BET surface areas than those prepared using other carbon sources reported before, including cinnamic strong alkali anion exchange resin, p-phenylenediamine and hexamethylenetetramine. This phenol-formaldehyde resin route was proved to be as universal as traditional H2 reduction method.  相似文献

The photoreduction behavior of alkyl viologen compounds in a PVA matrix was investigated. The initial photoreduction of alkyl viologens and related polyviologens follows second-order reaction kinetics, and the respective rate constants, which vary only slightly with alkyl chain length, were determined. While the polymer effect was not remarkable in a PVA matrix, the association behavior of radical cations was similar to that found in a 2-propanol aqueous solution.  相似文献

The effects of flooring materials on the combustion behavior of thermoplastics is investigated. Based on the ISO 9705 fire test setup, an experimental rig was designed. Full‐scale experiments of PP combustion were carried out using five flooring boards, namely gypsum, steel, wood, ceramic tile and PVC. The experimental results indicate that the flooring boards play an important role in the heat release rates of typical thermoplastics combustion. Specifically, the time for the sharp increase of heat release rate is generally later for the flooring boards with larger thermal conductivity, except for the case of PVC. Preliminary analyses suggest that the reason for the exception of PVC is the expansion and carbonization of PVC at high temperature. In addition, experimental results also show that the corresponding peak heat release rate of thermoplastics combustion would be generally smaller for the flooring board with a larger thermal mass, except for the case of gypsum. The primary cause for the exception of gypsum may be the heat absorption by the crystal water released from the gypsum during the burning of hot pool oil.  相似文献

A new metal-organic coordination polymer [Zn(Pydc)(Dppz)] n (I) (H2Pydc = 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid, Dppz = dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine) was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that I crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c. The Pydc2? ligands adopt O,N,O′-tridentate chelating and monodentate bridging coordination mode to link two adjacent Zn2+ ions to form a one-dimensional (1D) zigzag chain. The adjacent chains are further linked through hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions, forming a three-dimensional (3D) supramolecular framework. Silica has been non-covalently coated on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) using the sol–gel chemistry, where tetraethoxy silane (TEOS) was used to form an inorganic silica layer immediately next to surface of MWCNTs and octyl triethoxy silane was coated over the TEOS. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) measurements show that the diameter of MWCNTs increases with increasing the number of coating layer, indicating that the silica has been coated on MWCNTs. Quantitative analysis from thermogravimetric analysis (TG) also indicates that the inorganic and organic silica has been successfully coated on MWCNTs. Further, quantitative analysis found that the amount of silica measured by TG agrees well with the increase of thickness of coated MWCNTs obtained from TEM, indicating that little or no free silica exists in the system. The thermal conductivity of epoxy/MWCNTs composite was studied and the results show that the thermal conductivity of the composite is improved by coating MWCNTs in this manner and increases with increasing the number of coatings.  相似文献
