In the study of composites, it is important to determine the shape of inclusions. There is an interesting case in conductivity problem that the inclusion is insulated. In present paper, we first obtain the representation formula of the solution to an exterior problem, and then prove that for any uniform loading such solution can be extended into the inclusion as an affine function if and only if the insulated inclusion is an ellipse or an ellipsoid. We also show that an analogous result holds for the elasticity problem, which is related to Eshelby conjecture. The main results in this paper are motivated by Ammari, Kang, Kim and Lee (2013), Ammari, Kang and Lim (2005), Kang and Milton (2008), and Liu (2008). 相似文献

The Si nanowire array (SiNWA) was achieved by metal-assisted etching. The effect of alkali-treating of SiNWA on the photovoltaic performance of solar cells was investigated. We found that the post-chemical treatment of SiNWA on solar cells could reduce (i) the surface reflection and (ii) the thickness of “dead layer” so that the short-wavelength spectral response is enhanced. As a result, a solar-spectrum-averaged reflectance of less than 3 % has been reached, a 3-fold enhancement on the spectral response of post-treated SiNWA cell at the wavelength of 400 nm has been observed, together resulting in a remarkable improvement of 45 % in the conversion efficiency. 相似文献

Automated negotiation through autonomous agents has become increasingly important since the advent of e-marketplace. A deadlock may arise in which both negotiators refuse to disclose more information; then, mediation is required. We propose an agent-based sealed-bid design in which both agents simultaneously submit their respective offers to the mediate agent, and construct an efficient negotiation strategy which can reach an agreement aiming to maximize their owner’s utility. An important contribution of this paper is that we consider negotiators not necessarily to conflict over all issues, such as quantity. Our experimental results demonstrate that the proposed automated negotiation strategy is efficient in terms of the Pareto-efficiency of the negotiated contracts, the joint utility obtained, and the equality of both agents. In addition, since disclosure of information is reduced greatly, the design can discourage counter-speculation and effectively control fraud and misrepresentation to a certain extent. Based on the generalized Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral and beam coherence polarization (BCP) matrix formulation, the focusing properties of a type of non-uniformly polarized (NUP) beam through a spherical aberrated lens with annular aperture are studied. The dependence of focal shift, intensity distribution, power in the bucket (PIB) and degree of polarization on the spherical aberration coefficient, obscure ratio and polarization parameters is illustrated numerically. Nanoparticles show great potential for drug delivery. However, suitable nanostructures capable of loading a range of drugs together with the co‐delivery of siRNAs, which avoid the problem of cation‐associated cytotoxicity, are lacking. Herein, we report an small interfering RNA (siRNA)‐based vesicle (siRNAsome), which consists of a hydrophilic siRNA shell, a thermal‐ and intracellular‐reduction‐sensitive hydrophobic median layer, and an empty aqueous interior that meets this need. The siRNAsome can serve as a versatile nanostructure to load drug agents with divergent chemical properties, therapeutic proteins as well as co‐delivering immobilized siRNAs without transfection agents. Importantly, the inherent thermal/reduction‐responsiveness enables controlled drug loading and release. When siRNAsomes are loaded with the hydrophilic drug doxorubicin hydrochloride and anti‐P‐glycoprotein siRNA, synergistic therapeutic activity is achieved in multidrug resistant cancer cells and a tumor model. 相似文献
