This paper presents an integrated inventory distribution optimization model that simultaneously incorporates the issues of location, production, inventory, and transportation within a supply chain. The objective is to determine the optimal number and size of shipments under varying but commonly practiced production and shipping scenarios. A continuous approximation procedure is proposed to determine the optimal number and size of shipments. Three production and shipping scenarios are investigated and closed form expressions for the optimal number of shipments for each scenario are obtained. Organic thermoelectric materials have gained a trajectory in recent years given its advantages of processability, low cost and flexibility. In this paper, polymer electrolyte liquid crystal (PELC) mixtures composed of polyvinyl alcohol, potassium iodide, and 4-Cyano-4'-pentylbiphenyl (5CB) liquid crystal are fabricated, the 5CB acts as a ‘temperature switch’, i.e., a strong correlation between the thermoelectric properties and the transition from Ne-Iso transition of the 5CB, is observed. The electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient of the PELC mixtures both decrease above the Ne-Iso transition temperature. This thermoelectric behavior is discussed in terms of the carrier concentration, carrier mobility, and order-disorder transition. 相似文献

The potentially pentadentate chelate 2,6-diacetylpyridine-bis(N-methyl-S-methyldithiocarbazate) (Nmedapsme) has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. Its reactions with nickel(II) salts did not lead to pentadentate coordinated ligand complexes but ternary complexes of general formula, [Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmesme)L]X·H2O (L = Br−, I−; X = I−, BF4−) where Nmedapsme binds as a tridentate and nmesme = N-methyl-S-methyldithiocarbazate. The related ternary nickel(II) complexes of formula, Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmetsc)Br2 has also been prepared and characterized. X-ray crystal structures of [Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmesme)I]I·H2O and [Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmesme)Br]BF4·H2O revealed that, in these complexes, the Nmedapsme ligand acts as a tridentate NNN donor while the distal S-donors are not coordinated. The bidentate (NS) ligand, nmesme coordinates to the nickel(II) ion via the amino nitrogen and the thione sulfur atoms, the sixth coordination site is occupied by an anion. In both complexes, the nickel(II) ion adopts a distorted octahedral configuration. The complex [Cu(nmesme)2(ONO2)]NO3 was obtained from an unsuccessful attempt to complex copper(II) with Nmedapsme. Hydrolysis of the parent Schiff base Nmedapsme occurred during complexation. An X-ray crystallographic structure analysis shows that the complex, [Cu(nmesme)2(ONO2)]NO3 has an approximately square-pyramidal geometry with the two nmesme ligands coordinated to the copper(II) ion as NS bidentate chelating agents via the amino nitrogen and thione sulfur atoms and the fifth coordination position of copper(II) is occupied by a monodentate nitrate ligand. 相似文献

The interaction between bromocresol purple (BCP) and bovine serum albumin (BSA)/porcine serum albumin (PSA) was investigated both in the absence and presence of bilirubin (BR) using absorption/absorption difference spectroscopy. A significant red shift in the absorption maxima of BCP accompanied by a decrease in absorbance was indicative of BCP binding to albumin. The titration of BSA and PSA with BCP using absorption difference spectroscopy and analysis of results by Benesi-Hildebrand equation yielded the values of association constant, K as 9.9+/-0.9x10(4)Lmol(-1) and 4.1+/-0.3x10(4)Lmol(-1) for BSA and PSA, respectively. The differential extinction coefficient (Deltaepsilon) of 34,484M(-1)cm(-1) at 615nm and 41,870M(-1)cm(-1) at 619nm were estimated for BSA and PSA, respectively. Decrease in (DeltaAbs.)(615nm) of BCP-BSA complex with the increase in ionic strength suggested the role of hydrophobic interactions in the binding phenomenon. A significant blue shift in the absorption maxima and change in (DeltaAbs)(lambdamax) values of BR-albumin complexes upon addition of increasing concentrations of BCP revealed the BR displacing action of BCP on albumin molecule. 相似文献

Alginate solution (3%, w/v) was prepared using deionized water from its powder. Then the solution was exposed to gamma radiation (0.1?25 kGy). The alginate films were prepared by solution casting. It was found that gamma radiation has strong effect on alginate solution. At low doses, mechanical strength of the alginate films improved but after 5 kGy dose, the strength started to decrease. The mechanism of alginate radiolysis in aqueous solution is discussed. Film formation was not possible from alginate solution at doses >5 kGy. The mechanical properties such as puncture strength (PS), puncture deformation (PD), viscoelasticity (Y) coefficient of the un-irradiated films were investigated. The values of PS, PD and Y coefficient of the films were 333 N/mm, 3.20 mm and 27%, respectively. Alginate beads were prepared from 3% alginate solution (w/v) by ionotropic gelation method in 5% CaCl2 solution. The rate of gel swelling improved in irradiated alginate-based beads at low doses (up to 0.5 kGy). 相似文献
