Composite Silica Particles Using a Mixture of Organosilane Monomers

Composite silica particles were synthesized by a two-step (acid-base) process in an aqueous solution with a mixture of organoalkoxysilane monomers. The two-step process separates the hydrolysis and condensation procedures to easily control condensation rate. In this study, the silane monomers used were phenyltrimethoxysilane (PTMS), vinyltrimethoxysilane (VTMS), methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS), and tetraethyl-orthosilicate (TEOS). The physical properties of the resultant composite particles were investigated with the change in the molar ratio of monomers. The size of the particles increased with increasing the molar ratio of R_aSi(OR)₃/R_bSi(OR)₃ or R_aSi(OR)₃/TEOS (R_a: phenyl; R_b: vinyl, methyl).     

Synthesis and characterization of soluble polyimides containing trifluoromethyl groups in their backbone

A series of polyimides were synthesized from 2,2‐Bis(3,4‐dicarboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane, 2,2‐bis(3‐amino‐4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐hexafluoropropane, and 4,4′‐oxydianiline by chemical imidization. The effects of the diamine ratios on the properties of the films were evaluated through the study of their thermal, electrical, and morphological properties. All the polymers exhibited better solubility in most of the organic solvents and hence were easily processable. Polyimides with more 2,2‐bis(3‐amino‐4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐hexafluoropropane exhibited better solubility and a low refractive index, which is highly desired for microelectronic applications. The dielectric constant and birefringence were strongly dependent on the fluorine content. With an increase in the fluorine substitution, both the dielectric constant and birefringence decreased. All the polymers exhibited high thermal stability (>400 °C). The absence of crystalline melting in differential scanning calorimetry and broad wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction patterns revealed the amorphous nature of the polymers, which was due to the presence of bulky CF₃ groups and hinged ether linkages of the diamine component. The residual stress values decreased with an increase in the 4,4′‐oxydianiline content, and the results were in agreement with the dielectric constant. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 一种新颖的用于光腔模式及光束传输模拟的特征向量法

根据有限元法单元划分的思想，提出了一种新颖的模拟光腔模式及光束传输的特征向量法. 该方法的关键之处在于基于衍射积分理论构造了一种新的光束传输矩阵，通过求解特征矩阵方程可一次性得到谐振腔的一系列特征向量，每一列特征向量即代表了腔镜上光场的一个确定模式的振幅及相位分布. 并可采用该方法模拟光场传输到腔内或腔外任意地方的场分布. 该方法将传统方法中大量的迭代过程转化成为本征积分方程特征向量的求解过程，并与初值取值无关，且可一次性求得多个模式分布，从而可方便地分析谐振腔的模式鉴别能力. 特征向量法对圆形镜共焦 关键词： 谐振腔 特征向量法 模式分布     

双阳极磁控注入枪束流特性的研究

 介绍了用于34GHz基波回旋速调管的双阳极磁控注入枪的结构特点，为了准确分析磁控注入枪的束流特性，建立了阴极表面理论模型，用新编制的程序模拟了电子轨迹。模拟和测量结果显示磁场对磁控注入枪的束流有影响，磁控注入枪的束流也与阴极温度和空间电荷效应有关系。     

ns脉冲激光对K9玻璃的破坏实验

 采用高速PIN光电探测器和高带宽的数字存储示波器，实时检测透射光脉冲和散射光脉冲的变化特征，并将之用作材料破坏的光学判据，测量得到K9玻璃在1.06μm纳秒脉冲激光作用下的能量损伤阈值约18mJ，相应的能量密度阈值为1.0kJ/cm²。通过分析透射光脉冲和散射光脉冲的特征，给出了材料的破坏时刻，并推断出K9玻璃所能承受的极限光强为10¹⁵W/m²。研究了能量透过率与泵浦能量的关系，并初步探讨了透明材料的破坏机理。结果表明：在多纵模激光的作用下，透明光学材料破坏是电离击穿与自聚焦效应综合作用的结果。     

强流四脉冲电子束源实验研究

 为了进行强流多电子束源研究，对现有2MeV LIA 注入器进行了四脉冲改造，二极管脉冲电压约500kV。实验研究了天鹅绒阴极在四脉冲条件下的发射能力、传导电流负载效应以及阴极等离子体运动对阴极电子发射和束能量的影响。利用空间电荷限制流模型推算出阴极等离子体膨胀速率在1 ~4cm/μs之间。     

Synthesis of 5,6-Dihydro-OSW-1 and Its Antitumor Activities

5,6-Dihydro-OSW-1 (1) was synthesized following our previous procedure for the total synthesis of OSW-1. This compound demonstrated slightly stronger potency than that of OSW-1 against the growth of cancer cells.     

Baker＇s Yeast Mediated Reduction of Optically Active Diketone

Baker‘s yeast mediated reduction of optically active diketone is described. The two keto groups are efficiently differentiated and the ee value of the recovered material is considerably raised. It affords highly optically active key intermediates efficiently for the synthesis of natural polyhydroxylated agarofuran products.     

Nickel Chloride Promoted Glaser Coupling Reaction in Hot Water

A Glaser coupling reaction of terminal alkynes in the presence of nickel chloride withoutany organics and bases in hot water has been developed, which produces the correspondinghomo-coupling products in good yields.
