We propose a scheme for the implementation of nonlocal quantum swap operation on two spatially separated entangled pairs and we show that the operation can swap two qubits of these entangled pairs.We discuss the resources of the entangled qubits and classical communication bits required for the optimal implementation of the nonlocal quantum swap operation.We also put forward a scheme for probabilistic implementation of nonlocal swap operation via a nonmaximally entangled quantum channel.The probability of a successful nonlocal swap operation is obtained by introducing a collective unitary transformation. 相似文献

The statistical error is ineluctable in any measurement. Quantum techniques, especially with the development of quantum information, can help us squeeze the statistical error and enhance the precision of measurement. In a quantum system, there are some quantum parameters, such as the quantum state, quantum operator, and quantum dimension, which have no classical counterparts. So quantum metrology deals with not only the traditional parameters, but also the quantum parameters. Quantum metrology includes two important parts: measuring the physical parameters with a precision beating the classical physics limit and measuring the quantum parameters precisely. We present a wavelength-tunable narrow-band fiber-coupled source to generate correlated photon pairs at 539 nm and 1550nm. Using a lO-mm PPLN crystal, we obtain more than 50ram tunable range near 1550nm. The N_2-plasma treatment on a HfO_2 blocking layer of Au nanocrystal nonvolatile memory without any post annealing is investigated. The electrical characteristics of the MOS capacitor with structure of Al–Ta N/HfO_2/Si O2/p-Si are also characterized. After N_2-plasma treatment, the nitrogen atoms are incorporated into HfO_2 film and may passivate the oxygen vacancy states. The surface roughness of HfO_2 film can also be reduced. Those improvements of HfO_2 film lead to a smaller hysteresis and lower leakage current density of the MOS capacitor. The N_2-plasma is introduced into Au nanocrystal(NC) nonvolatile memory to treat the HfO_2 blocking layer. For the N_2-plasma treated device, it shows a better retention characteristic and is twice as large in the memory window than that for the no N_2-plasma treated device. It can be concluded that the N_2-plasma treatment method can be applied to future nonvolatile memory applications. 相似文献

We present a method to generate entangled Fock states of two nonlocal cavity modes with different frequencies. We send an atom with three levels g,e, and f across two cavities. The atomic transition frequency between level g and e is resonant with the first cavity frequency, while the atomic transition frequency between level g and f is resonant with the second cavity frequency.
