In this paper, a new type of radio frequency (RF) excited diffusively cooled all-metal slab waveguide CO2 laser is presented, in which the waveguide channel is constructed by two aluminum side walls and two aluminum electrodes, the discharge is confined in the slab waveguide channel in terms of the voltage division structure. By solving the extended Boltzmann equation and the electron number balance equation, we obtained the electron energy distribution functions (EEDFs) and the electronic excitation rates in the discharge of the radio-frequency (RF) transverse-excited intermediate pressure waveguide heliumneon laser. The population densities of the upper-laser-level Ne 3S2 for 0.6328μm lasing and 3.39μm lasing have been determined by solving the rate euqations. The results indicate that under the proper operating conditions the population densities of Ne 3S2 of the RF transverse-excited waveguide He-Ne laser can be increased by almost one order compared to that of a traditional longitudinal-excited capillary discharge helium-neon laser under typical working conditions. The increase of input power density and active discharge area (area scaling technique) has been proved to be reliable way to increase the output power of the RF transverse-excited waveguide atomic lasers. 相似文献

We present an 880-nm laser-diode partially end-pumped Nd:YVO4 slab cw laser with output 126.7 W by using a hybrid resonator. The slop efficiency and optical-to-optical efficiency with respect to absorbed pumping power are 73.2% and 58.7%, respectively. At the output power of 100 W, the beam propagation M2 factors are 1.1 in the unstable direction and 1.15 in the stable direction. 相似文献

利用氰自由基(CN)B2Σ+→X2Σ+ 电子带系的发射光谱温度测量技术诊断模拟火星再入流场高温气体的温度. 以双原子分子光谱理论为基础,通过确定CN 自由基B2Σ+→X2Σ+ 电子带系中 Δv = 0 振动带系发射光谱的跃迁波数、Einstein 跃迁几率以及不同振转能级粒子数等参数,得到了任意转动温度和振动温度下的理论光谱强度分布,结合经窄线宽半导体激光器标定的仪器展宽(Lorentz 线型,半宽度FWHM 为0.154 nm),为CN自由基B2Σ+→X2Σ+ 电子带系发射光谱测温技术提供理论依据. 利用激波管模拟火星再入流场环境,通过分析激波波后不同时刻处高时间、空间分辨率的CN 自由基发射光谱,得到了激波波后高温气体不同时刻处的转动温度和振动温度,并根据得到的温度信息给出了激波诱导时间和弛豫时间. 相似文献
