StureGate：a Data Model for the ATLAS Software Architecture

ATLAS[1] has recently joined Gaudi,an open project to develop a data processing framework for HEP experiments[2],The data model is one of the areas where ATLAS has extended more the original Gaudi design to meet the experiment‘s own requirments.This paper describes StoreGate,the first implementation of the ATLAS Data Model.     

EFFECT OF INTERNAL VISCOSITY OF POLYMERIC FLUIDS UNDER STRONG EXTENSIONAL FLOWS

The dumbbell model with internal viscosity for a dilute polymer solution is investigated based on a balance of viscous drag and restoring Brownian forces.An approximate method is used to obtain the solution of extensional stress in closed form in the case of steady flow.For different internal viscosities,this parametric study shows different asymptotic regimes of the extensional viscosity as a function of strain rate.This analysis may explain the attenuation of pressure drop in strong flows from a phenom...     

一种从航天器VLBI观测记录中获取航天器速度信息的方法

介绍一种对航天器的VLBI原始电压观测记录中提取多普勒频移量的方法，并用于对lunarprospector的较左VLBI观测记录的分析中，同时得到航天器的VLBI和多普勒观测数据，有利于对航天器空间位置和速度信息的同时获取。     

我校增设4个博士后流动站

接国家人事部、全国博士后管委会文件，我校又有4个博士后流动站获得批准.这些博士后流动站分别是：管理学院的管理科学与工程，同济医学院的生物学，生命科学院的生物医学工程和数学系的数学.据介绍，此次新批准的站点是为了适应经济、科技和教育发展需要，加快人才结构调整和高层次人才队伍建设，加速技术创新，加强基础科学研究和国防建设，支持西部开发而设置的，共新批149个，其中湖北省12个，我校占三分之一.

Deformed soliton,breather,and rogue wave solutions of an inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrdinger equation

We use the 1-fold Darboux transformation (DT) of an inhomogeneous nonlinear Schro¨dinger equation (INLSE) to construct the deformed-soliton, breather, and rogue wave solutions explicitly. Furthermore, the obtained first-order deformed rogue wave solution, which is derived from the deformed breather solution through the Taylor expansion, is different from the known rogue wave solution of the nonlinear Schro¨dinger equation (NLSE). The effect of inhomogeneity is fully reflected in the variable height of the deformed soliton and the curved background of the deformed breather and rogue wave. By suitably adjusting the physical parameter, we show that a desired shape of the rogue wave can be generated. In particular, the newly constructed rogue wave can be reduced to the corresponding rogue wave of the nonlinear Schro¨dinger equation under a suitable parametric condition.     

Comparative study using MS and XRD of Fe80Al20 alloy produced by mechanical alloying

An X-ray diffraction and 57Fe M ssbauer effect study of mechanically alloyed Fe 80 Al 20 is presented. X-ray measurements indicate that the disordered bcc α-Fe(Al) solid solution was formed after 2 h of milling, while the analysis of M ssbauer spectra suggested that total dissolution of aluminium is achieved after 10 h of milling. These differences can be attributed to: (i) rapid nanocrystallization of aluminium and/or (ii) small particles with small amounts of aluminium cannot be detected by the X-ray diffraction technique.     

Flexural response of doubly curved laminated composite shells

In the present work, analytical solutions for laminated composite doubly curved panels on rectangular plan form undergoing small deformations and subjected to uniformly distributed transverse load have been obtained. The problem is formulated using first order shear deformation theory. The spatial descretization of the linear differential equations is carried out using fast converging finite double Chebyshev series. The effect of panel thickness, curvature, boundary conditions, lamination scheme as well as material property on the static response of panel has been investigated in detail.
