A cadmium complex bis(benzyltriethylammonium) bis(1,3‐dithiole‐2‐thione‐4,5‐dithiolato)‐cadmium(II) ((TEBA)2[Cd(DMIT)2]) has been synthesized and its crystal structure has been determined by means of X‐ray single‐crystal diffraction. The central cadmium(II) ion coordinates with two DMIT, which constructed a distorted tetrahedron environment. Its third‐order nonlinear optical properties have been studied using Z‐scan technique with 20 ps pulses at wavelength 1064 nm. Its third‐order nonlinear susceptibility χ(3) value was determined to be 1.24 × 10−19 m2 V−2, the figure of merit, χ(3)/α0, was estimated to be 2.64 × 10−20 m3 V−2. This paper describes an autoselection method for the pedal load of an electric cart, and the control system. The method checks the driver’s physical condition just before the start of driving, calculates the driver’s rating of perceived exertion, and uses that to automatically select a suitable pedal load. To ensure that the level of physical exertion is safe, the largest pedal load is determined on the basis of Borg’s CR10, the Karvonen formula, a pedaling experiment, and statistical data. A driver’s degree of fatigue is estimated from his heart rate, and a pedal load (between the largest and almost zero) is automatically selected. In addition, a dynamic output-feedback cart control system was designed that guarantees the stability of the cart system for any allowable pedal load. A stability condition is derived by employing the concept of dynamic parallel distributed compensation. Finally, experiments demonstrate the validity of the method. 相似文献

Density‐functional with generalized gradient approximation (GGA) for the exchange‐correlation potential has been used to calculate the energetically global‐minimum geometries and electronic states of NinAl (n = 2–8) neutral clusters. Our calculations predict the existence of a number of previously unknown isomers. All structures may be derived from a substitution of a Ni atom at marginal positions by an Al atom in the Nin+1 cluster. Aluminum atom remains on the surface of the geometrical configurations. Moreover, these species prefer to adopt three‐dimensional (3D) spacial forms at the smaller number of nickel atoms compared with the pure Nin+1 (n ≥ 3) configuration. Atomization energies per atom for NinAl (n = 2–8) have the same trend as the binding energies per atom for Nin (n = 3–9). The stabilization energies reveal that Ni5Al is the relatively most stable in this series. In comparison with the magnetic moment of pure metal nickel (0.6 μB), the average magnetic moment of Ni atom increases in Ni Al clusters except the Ni3Al. Moreover, except the case of Ni5Al, Ni average magnetic moment decreases when alloyed with Al atoms than that in pure Ni clusters, which originate the effective charge transferring from Al to Ni atoms. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Thermosensitive polylactide‐block‐poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (t‐PLA‐b‐PNIPAAm) tri‐armed star block copolymers were synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of monomer NIPAAm using t‐PLA‐Cl as macroinitiator. The synthesis of t‐PLA‐Cl was accomplished by esterification of star polylactides (t‐PLA) with 2‐chloropropionyl chloride using trimethylolpropane as a center molecule. FT‐IR, 1H NMR, and GPC analyses confirmed that the t‐PLA‐b‐PNIPAAm star block copolymers had well‐defined structure and controlled molecular weights. The block copolymers could form core‐shell micelle nanoparticles due to their hydrophilic‐hydrophobic trait in aqueous media, and the critical micelle concentrations (CMC) were from 6.7 to 32.9 mg L?1, depending on the system composition. The as‐prepared micelle nanoparticles showed reversible phase changes in transmittance with temperature: transparent below low critical solution temperature (LCST) and opaque above the LCST. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations revealed that the micelle nanoparticles were spherical in shape with core‐shell structure. The hydrodynamic diameters of the micelle nanoparticles depended on copolymer compositions, micelle concentrations and media. MTT assays were conducted to evaluate cytotoxicity of the camptothecin‐loaded copolymer micelles. Camptothecin drug release studies showed that the copolymer micelles exhibited thermo‐triggered targeting drug release behavior, and thus had potential application values in drug controlled delivery. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A blue light-inducible phosphodiesterase (PDE) activity, specific for the hydrolysis of cyclic di-GMP (c-di-GMP), has been identified in a recombinant protein from Synechococcus elongatus. Blue light (BL) activation is accomplished by a light, oxygen, voltage (LOV) domain, found in plant phototropins and bacterial BL photoreceptors. The genome of S. elongatus contains two genes coding for proteins with LOV domains fused to EAL domains (SL1 and SL2). In both cases, a GGDEF motif is placed in between the LOV and the EAL motifs. Such arrangement is frequently found with diguanylate-cyclase (DGC) functions that form c-di-GMP. Cyclic di-GMP acts as a second messenger molecule regulating biofilm formation in many microbial species. Both enzyme activities modulate the intracellular level of this second messenger, although in most proteins only one of the two enzyme functions is active. Both S. elongatus LOV-GGDEF-EAL proteins were expressed in full length or as truncated proteins. Only the SL2 protein, expressed as a LOV-GGDEF-EAL construct, showed an increase of PDE activity upon BL irradiation, demonstrating this activity for the first time in a LOV-domain protein. Addition of GTP or c-di-GMP did not affect the observed enzymatic activity. In none of the full-length or truncated proteins was a DGC activity detected. 相似文献
