An analytical current-voltage (I -V ) model for planar-doped HEMTs is developed. This compact model covers the complete range of I -V characteristics, including the current saturation region and parasitic conduction in the electron-supplying layer. Analytical expressions for the small-signal parameters and current-gain cutoff frequency are derived from the I -V model. Modeling results for a 0.1-μm-gate planar-doped AlInAs-GaInAs HEMT show excellent agreement with measured characteristics. A simple method based on carrier suppression modulation for measuring first-order polarization-mode dispersion of hollow-core photonic bandgap fiber (HC-PBGF) is proposed and investigated. By adjusting the incident optical wavelength and measuring the power penalty of optically generated microwave signals, the wavelength-dependent differential group delay (DGD) in HC-PBGF can be obtained. Moreover, this proposed method is chromatic-dispersion-insensitive. The experimental results indicate that a segment of 20-m HC-PBGF exhibits highly birefringent DGD of 25, 59, and 84 ps with measurement error less than 2 ps for the incident optical wavelength of 1560, 1575, and 1580 nm, respectively 相似文献

In this paper a half space problem for the one-dimensional Boltzmann equation with specular reflective boundary condition is investigated. The universal condition for the formation of omnidirectional band gaps (OBG) in photonic crystal (PC) was derived with consideration
of permeability of the materials. And it was found that there are four kinds of PCs: one of them has no OBG, and one always
possesses OBG. For the other two kinds of PCs, there are OBG for only TM or TE waves respectively. Moreover, in all PCs, the
OBG can be broadened by decreasing the refractive index of the ambient medium or/and increasing the contrast between the wave

Multicast is the ability to transmit information from a single source node to multiple destination nodes. Multicast can be supported more efficiently in optical domain by utilizing the inherent light-splitting capacity of optical switches than by copying data in electronic domain. In this paper, we study multicast communication in a class of multicast-capable WDM networks (i.e., the networks that have light splitting switches) with regular topologies under some commonly used routing algorithms. Upper and lower bounds on the minimum number of wavelengths required are determined for a network to be rearrangeable for arbitrary multicast assignments, and compared with those WDM networks without light splitting switches. 武定恐龙化石的显微拉曼光谱研究 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
本文首次利用激光显微拉曼光谱、原子光谱和偏光显微镜等方法 ,对云南武定的恐龙化石进行了分析研究。实验发现 ,恐龙化石表面和截面的拉曼光谱 ,均为典型的方解石 (CaCO3 )晶体的拉曼谱 ,并未发现有其他成分的拉曼谱。原子发射光谱的分析结果表明 ,恐龙化石中的主要元素有Ca(>10 % ) ,其次是Si(5 0 % )和P(4 0 % ) ,还有Fe(1 0 % )等 ,但未发现铱、钍等稀有元素。由恐龙化石截面在偏光显微镜下的图像可以知道 ,恐龙化石表面层的成分主要是方解石晶体 ;内部的主要成分为方解石 (CaCO3 )晶体 ,此外还有纤维状一水二氧化硅 (分子式SiO2 ·nH2 O ,属非晶态 )等成分。激光拉曼光谱能快速无损地准确检测出恐龙化石的主要成分是方解石 (CaCO3 ) ,拉曼光谱对恐龙化石的分析结果与原子光谱、偏光显微镜的分析结果是一致的 相似文献
