基于改进遗传算法的布局优化子问题

本针对子问题，构造了布局子问题(关于同构布局等价类)的改进遗传算法。将该算法应用于二维布局优化子问题，数值实验表明该算法能够在很好地保持图元的邻接关系的前提下找到子问题的最优解。由于布局优化问题可分解为有限个子问题，所以利用该算法可以找到整个布局优化问题的全局最优解。     

Effective electromagnetic and chiral parameters of chiral composite material

The effective parameters of chiral composite are studied using a simple model, that is, randomly oriented non-interacting wire helices embedded in a nonchiral host medium. It is found that both the effective permittivity ? and permeability μ are independent on the handedness of the chiral objects while the effective chirality admittance ξ is dependent. It is also found that when the ratio of the radius of the chiral helix to its pitch is about 0.23, maximum chirality admittance is achieved. The effective parameters of equichiral sample are also discussed.     

Chemical synthesis and electric properties of the conducting copolymer of aniline and o‐aminophenol

A copolymer, poly(aniline‐co‐o‐aminophenol), was prepared chemically by using ammonium peroxydisulfate as an oxidant. The monomer concentration ratio of o‐aminophenol to aniline strongly influences the copolymerization rate and properties of the copolymer. The optimum composition of a mixture for the chemical copolymerization consisted of 0.3 M aniline, 0.021 M o‐aminophenol, 0.42 M ammonium peroxydisulfate, and 2 M H₂SO₄. The result of cyclic voltammograms in a potential region of ?0.20 to 0.80 V (vs.SCE) indicates that the electrochemical activity of the copolymer prepared under the optimum condition is similar to that of polyaniline in more acid solutions. However, the copolymer still holds the good electrochemical activity until pH 11.0. Therefore, the pH dependence of the electrochemical property of the copolymer is improved, compared with poly(aniline‐co‐o‐aminophenol) prepared electrochemically, and is much better than that of polyaniline. The spectra of IR and ¹H NMR confirm that o‐aminophenol units are included in the copolymer chain, which play a key role in extending the usable pH region of the copolymer. The visible spectra of the copolymers show that a high concentration ratio of o‐aminophenol to aniline in a mixture inhibits the chain growth. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Transverse Effects in Slow Light Propagation

The effect of finite control beam on the transverse spatial profile of the slow light propagation in an electromagnetically induced transparency medium is studied. From the second-order wave equation and linear response of an EIT medium to the signal field, we find it is possible to produce an effective waveguide for the signal field. The existence and properties of a set of localized, stationary transverse modes are demonstrated. Especially, by carefully manipulating the profile of the control beam, we can realize single-mode propagation for the signal field, which may be important for potential applications.     

Integral-Type Darboux Transformations for the mKdV Hierarchy with Self-Consistent Sources

We present integral-type Darboux transformation for the mKdV hierarchy and for the mKdV hierarchy withself-consistent sources. In contrast with the normal Darboux transformation, the integral-type Darboux transformationscan offer non-auto-Backlund transformation between two (2n 1)-th mKdV equations with self-consistent sources withdifferent degrees. This kind of Darboux transformation enables us to construct the N-soliton solution for the mKdVhierarchy with self-consistent sources. We also propose the formulas for the m times repeated integral-type Darbouxtransformations for both mKdV hierarchy and mKdV hierarchy with self-consistent sources.
