There has been considerable recent attention given to the stressed and buckled states of items with complicated configuration made of different nonlinearly elastic materials joined by complete adhesion. However, effective analytical solutions for such problems have been hindered by mathematical difficulties. Approximate methods have thus been developed for such problems. A variational combined principle has been formulated in this communication. A nonlinear geometrical approach has been used for formulating a mixed-type functional with physical relationships given by Euler equations, nonlinear equilibrium equations, and nonlinear boundary conditions for a piecewise-nonuniform nonlinearly elastic body composed of finite elements (particles). As an example, buckling along the nonuniform thickness of nonlinearly elastic rings was analyzed hypothetically assuming plane cross-sections. Options for two-, three-, four-, five-, and six-layered rings in a periodical structure have been reviewed. The critical buckling forces for an even number of layers have been found to be equal to each other. The temperature dependence of magnetization of a nanocrystalline Fe60Co30Zr10 alloy annealed at various temperatures to varying crystal sizes was investigated down to 5 K in the field range up to 5 T. The fitting procedure gave T3/2 as the leading term irrespective of the crystal size. We suggest that the increase of the coefficient by this term for smaller crystals may be connected to an increased relative volume of their surface.  相似文献

Dynamic stress on MOSFETs with 900-MHz inverter-like waveforms as well as static (or dc) stress were evaluated experimentally. It showed that the degradation due to dynamic stress is less than that of dc stress for our test transistors. A compact model is used to evaluate the degradation in radio frequency performances, such as transconductance, cutoff frequency, linearity, and noise figure. A class-AB power amplifier is presented as an example to demonstrate the effect of dynamic stress on RF circuit performance.  相似文献

Backscattering enhancement is discussed as a universal wave phenomenon inherent to waves of whatever physical nature: electromagnetic, acoustic, spin, etc. This phenomenon arises due to multichannel wave propagation from a source to a scatterer and back and may be observed in the vicinity of the source because of mutual coherence of waves passing in opposite directions along identical (coherent) channels. Backscattering enhancement may be revealed when the wave field is scattered: by a system of chaotically distributed scatterers or by a system of inhomogeneities; by a body embedded in a turbulent medium; by a single body placed near an interface or within a waveguide (randomness of body position is assumed); by a body of complex form or a system of several scatterers randomly oriented in space; by a rough surface; and by many other physical systems. The leading nonperturbative contribution to the cross section of charm production in two-photon collisions is calculated in QCD. Operator expansion is used and the c-quark interaction with vacuum gluon condensate is taken into account. As a result, the moments of the charm contribution to the photon structure function are obtained. The moments with sufficiently high numbers turn out to be sensitive to the gluon condensate.  相似文献
