Unnatural‐type syndiotactic and atactic poly[(R,S)‐3‐hydroxybutanoate]s [P(3HB)s] were enzymatically transformed into a reactive cyclic 3HB oligomer of molecular weight ca. 500 in an organic solvent, such as toluene, using immobilized lipase from Candida antarctica at 40°C for 24 h. It was confirmed that similar results were obtained for both syndiotactic and atactic P(3HB)s. On the other hand, the acidic degradation of these polymers using a protonic acid, such as p‐toluenesulfonic acid, exclusively produced the linear 3HB oligomer instead of the cyclic oligomer. The formation of the cyclic oligomer was regarded as the characteristic feature of the lipase‐catalyzed degradation in organic media. The cyclic oligomer obtained readily reacted with alcohol as a nucleophile, and using lipase, to produce the alkyl ester of the 3HB oligomer. 相似文献

An asymmetric desymmetrization of saturated and unsaturated cyclic and acyclic meso-1,2-diols has been developed from the ene acetals, prepared from the norbornene carboxyaldehyde and meso-1,2-diols. The intramolecular haloetherification of the ene acetals as a key step afforded 8-membered acetals in a stereoselective manner just by the reaction of norbornene olefin even when the ene acetals from unsaturated meso-1,2-diols having olefins in the same molecule were used. Subsequent reductive elimination, followed by protecting the hydroxy group and transacetalization, gave optically active 1,2-diol derivatives and the starting ene acetals in good yields. 相似文献

CdTe heterojunction devices have been fabricated for the first time by an RF sputter deposition method for application to X-ray imaging sensors. The electrical resistivities of sputter-deposited polycrystalline CdS and CdTe films are greater than 106 Ω-cm and 109 Ω-cm, respectively. The fabricated CdS/CdTe heterojunction sensor shows a good diode characteristic and a high sensitivity to X-ray radiation. An X-ray imaging camera tube consisting of CdS/CdTe heterojunction photoconductive target shows three times larger responsivity to X-rays than the conventional PbO X-ray tube. The dark current density of the device is observed to be lower than 10 nA/cm2 at 20 V target voltage at room temperature 相似文献

This paper proposes a sequential detection technique for a multi‐user receiver that is constructed over a CDMA system. In this system, the transmitter transmits a symbol made by spreading the spectrum with an enveloped sequence protected by guard sequences, and a receiver de‐modulates the core‐sequence part of the received symbol with either a de‐correlating detector or an MMSE detector. The advantage is that performance is improved without reducing the number of the active users. This sequential detection system estimates the best user signal from all of the soft outputs, which are obtained by solving a de‐correlating system of equations. Once detected, the best user component is removed from the received symbol. The resultant symbol composed of the remaining user signals is then sequentially detected by repeating the method stated above. A computer simulation of this system reveals a remarkable improvement in the bit‐error rate performance compared to conventional systems. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

The authors describe operational experience of the first free-electron laser (FEL) using a grazing-incidence ring resonator. The Boeing FEL optical cavity was changed from a simple concentric cavity using two spherical mirrors to a larger grazing-incidence ring resonator. Initial tests showed that poorly positioned ring focus and unreliable pointing alignment resulted in reduced and structured FEL output. Later efforts concentrated on improving the resonator alignment techniques and lowering the single-pass losses. FEL performance and reliability have significantly improved due to better ring alignment. The alignment procedure and recent lasing results are described. The effect the electron beam has on lasing is also discussed. Measurements are presented showing FEL temporal output and wavelength are sensitive to electron beam energy variation 相似文献

The physicochemical properties of room temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) consisting of bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide (TFSA−) combined with 1-hexyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium (Pyr1,6+), 1-(butoxymethyl)-1-methylpyrrolidinium (Pyr1,1O4+), 1-(4-methoxybutyl)-1-methyl pyrrolidinium (Pyr1,4O1+), and 1-((2-methoxyethoxy)methyl)-1-methylpyrrolidinium (Pyr1,1O2O1+) were investigated using both experimental and computational approaches. Pyr1,1O2O1TFSA, which contains two ether oxygen atoms, showed the lowest viscosity, and the relationship between its physicochemical properties and the position and number of the ether oxygen atoms was discussed by a careful comparison with Pyr1,1O4TFSA and Pyr1,4O1TFSA. Ab initio calculations revealed the conformational flexibility of the side chain containing the ether oxygen atoms. In addition, molecular dynamics (MD) calculations suggested that the ion distributions have a significant impact on the transport properties. Furthermore, the coordination environments of the Li ions in the RTILs were evaluated using Raman spectroscopy, which was supported by MD calculations using 1000 ion pairs. The design of a computer-aided system for identifying the seizure onset zone (SOZ) from interictal and ictal electroencephalograms (EEGs) is desired by epileptologists. This study aims to introduce the statistical features of high-frequency components (HFCs) in interictal intracranial electroencephalograms (iEEGs) to identify the possible seizure onset zone (SOZ) channels. It is known that the activity of HFCs in interictal iEEGs, including ripple and fast ripple bands, is associated with epileptic seizures. This paper proposes to decompose multi-channel interictal iEEG signals into a number of subbands. For every 20 s segment, twelve features are computed from each subband. A mutual information (MI)-based method with grid search was applied to select the most prominent bands and features. A gradient-boosting decision tree-based algorithm called LightGBM was used to score each segment of the channels and these were averaged together to achieve a final score for each channel. The possible SOZ channels were localized based on the higher value channels. The experimental results with eleven epilepsy patients were tested to observe the efficiency of the proposed design compared to the state-of-the-art methods. 相似文献
