Antimony speciation by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry using solid phase extraction cartridges

A novel and simple method for inorganic antimony speciation is described based on selective solid phase extraction (SPE) separation of antimony(III) and highly sensitive inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometric (ICP-MS) detection of total antimony and antimony(V) in the aqueous phase of the sample. Non-polar SPE cartridges, such as the Isolute silica-based octyl (C8) sorbent-containing cartridge, selectively retained the Sb(III) complex with ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (APDC), while the uncomplexed Sb(V) remained as a free species in the solution and passed through the cartridge. The Sb(III) concentration was calculated as the difference between total antimony and Sb(V) concentrations. The detection limit was 1 ng L(-1) antimony. Factors affecting the separation and detection of antimony species were investigated. Acidification of samples led to partial or complete retention of Sb(V) on C8 cartridge. Foreign ions tending to complex with Sb(III) or APDC did not interfere with the retention behavior of the Sb(III)-APDC complex. This method has been successfully applied to antimony speciation of various types of water samples.     

Enantioselective synthesis of marine indole alkaloid hamacanthin B

An enantioselective total synthesis of hamacanthin B (1) is described. This synthesis is based on the asymmetric synthesis of (S)-2-azido-(indol-3-yl)ethylamine 7, which is coupled with the 3-indolyl-alpha-oxoacetyl chloride 8 and subsequently used in a successful intramolecular Staudinger-aza Wittig cyclization to form the central dihydropyrazinone ring. The stereochemistry of naturally isolated hamacanthin B is revealed as the (S)-configuration.     

Applications of a copper microparticle-modified carbon fiber microdisk array electrode for the simultaneous determination of aminoglycoside antibiotics by capillary electrophoresis

A copper microparticle-modified carbon fiber microdisk array electrode was fabricated and employed in capillary electrophoresis for the simultaneous determination of the five aminoglycoside antibiotics (AGs) including netilmicin, tobramycin, lincomycin, kanamycin and amikacin. The array electrode exhibited high catalytic activity for AGs, good reproducibility and stability. Under the optimum separation conditions (separation voltage of 6.2 kV, electrophoretic medium of 125 mM NaOH), the five AGs above were baseline separated within 20 min. At a working electrode potential of 0.7 V (versus saturated calomel electrode), the calibration curves were linear over two orders of magnitude of concentration, and the detection limits (SIN=3) were below 2 microM except for lincomycin (6.7 microM). The developed method was successfully employed for the simultaneous determination of the five AGs studied in pharmaceutical injections. The feasibility of this method for the simultaneous determination of lincomycin, kanamycin and amikacin in urine sample was also demonstrated.     

含铈不锈钢的抗菌性能

以00Cr18Ni9不锈钢成分为基础,添加0～5%的稀土元素铈（Ce）.利用电子探针分析了加铈（Ce）不锈钢中Ce的分布;用化学分析法测定了含铈不锈钢中铈（Ce）和碳（C）的含量;用X射线衍射方法测试了含铈（Ce）不锈钢中铈（Ce）的析出相成分;采用贴膜法测试了含Ce不锈钢对大肠杆菌ATCC 8099、金黄色葡萄球菌ATCC 6538的抗菌性能.结果表明： 含Ce不锈钢具有优异的抗菌性能,与含Cu抗菌不锈钢相比,含Ce不锈钢无需时效热处理就具有优异的抗菌性能.并讨论了含Ce不锈钢的抗菌机制.     

An ionic liquid-type carbon paste electrode and its polyoxometalate-modified properties

The replacement of a non-conductive organic binder with a conductive room temperature ionic liquid in fabricating carbon paste electrode has been made. This new electrode due to its enhanced conductivity presented very large current response from electroactive substrates. The novel carbon paste electrode was bulk-modified via the uniform dispersion of Keggin-type phospho polyoxomolybdate (PMo₁₂) in bulky carbons, which possessed excellent electrocatalytic activity for the reduction of nitrite. The pronounced multi-electron catalytic ability was ascribed to the used hydrophobic ionic liquid which constructed an excellent charge-transfer bridge in the bulk of carbon paste electrode, thus facilitated the intake of electrons from reduced PMo₁₂ mediators. In view of their prominent properties, the carbon paste electrode using ionic liquid binder and its bulk-modified electrode take on good prospects of the application in physical chemistry and electroanalytical chemistry fields.     

双8-羟基喹啉端开链冠醚金属络合物的光物理性质

设计合成了双8-羟基喹啉端的开链冠醚QP3Q,研究了金属离子铝或锌与其形成络合物的组成和发光性质,并测定了络合物的激发态寿命.这些络合物在溶液中有较高的荧光量子产率,所得到的络合物固体具有较强的蓝光发光性能.结果表明,有可能通过QP3Q与不同离子形成的络合物得到不同发光波长的发光材料.     

Novel synthesis of a strained para-cyclophane derivative

A [P. Rajakumar, A.M.A. Rasheed, Tetrahedron 61（22） （2005） 5351] para-cyclophane derivative was synthesized via intramolecular esterification of a dipeptide surrogate containing asparagine to form tetrahydropyrimidinone ring. The structures of the product and intermediates were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectrum.     

铽与邻氨基苯基苯甲酸配合物的合成、表征及荧光性质

选择不同的pH值,在乙醇-水溶液中合成了铽与邻氨基苯基苯甲酸固体配合物.通过元素分析、摩尔电导、热分析、红外光谱、紫外光谱,表征并确定了配合物的化学组成为TbL4K·nH2O(n=1,2).同时,在不同pH值下合成得到的配合物的荧光性质也得到了测试和讨论,表明pH=10.0时配合物TbL4K·2H2O在544 nm处5D4→7F5跃迁的发射峰为最强.     

Molecular mass distribution of sodium alginate by high-performance size-exclusion chromatography

A sensitive high-performance size-exclusion chromatography (HPSEC) method with simple UV detection was developed for the molecular mass analysis of sodium alginate. It was used to evaluate alginates of varying molecular mass and the results were compared with the viscosity measurements. This HPSEC method was sensitive to serve as the stability indicating method for alginate after storage under different conditions. The information of relative molecular mass distribution of alginate was provided with reference to pullulan molecular mass standards. The comparison of the HPSEC chromatograms of alginate, pullulan and dextran revealed the effect of chemical composition of a polysaccharide and its effect on apparent molecular mass distribution.     

NMR频率综合器的微机控制

为实现ＰＴＳ系列频率综合器的微机控制，设计了一种简单的控制电路。在微机的控制下，通过该电路与微机的并行通讯口，用Ｃ语言编写的控制程序可以很方便的控制频率综合器的输出频率。控制程序采用菜单操作，电路所需的＋５Ｖ电源由微机提供，整个控制系统简单实用，值得推广。
